Volkswagen officially announces R GmbH sport division

Ok, this is not new for 4WheelsNews readers as we revealed it in this post, but today Volkswagen officially confirmed that is new R GmbH sport division will be the specialist for sporty exclusive models in the future. The new R GmbH has already two models in its portofolio: the Scirocco R and the Golf R as well as the dynamic R Line design packages and luxurious Volkswagen Exclusive items. Our vehicles contribute to the emotionalisation and growth of Volkswagen brand, explained Ulrich Riestenpatt gt. Richter, General Manager of Volkswagen R GmbH. Apparently, the new sport division is Volkswagen‚ response to the increased global demand for individualized vehicles with contemporary sportiness and exclusivity.
