Volkswagen planning Polo MPV, estate and cabrio

According to the latest reports, Volkswagen is considering launching a Polo MPV, estate and convertible models based on the same platform and architecture. In a recent interview, product chief Dr Ulrich Hackenbur said that Vw wants to transform the Polo hatchback in a Golf and have the same models, but smaller. Also, a baby SUV, dubbed CrossPolo is also considerd. The estate version of the Polo could be the perfect competitor for the Seat IBZ Concept, which previews the Ibiza Station Wagon. A decision regarding these new models will be taken within a few months.
