Volkswagen will be unveiling its latest panel van model, the Caddy Cross special edition, at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover, Germany, set to take place on September 20 to 27, 2012. The Caddy Cross panel van will be boasting of an eye-catching Viper Green finish, a black body kit and 17-inch ‘Canyon’ alloy wheels. The body kit of the Caddy Cross is extended around the lower edges of the front and rear bumpers, and along the side sills and wheel arches, giving the panel van a more rugged appearance. The Caddy Cross’ silver roof rails, side strips and front and rear undercarriage guards give it an off-road look. VW endowed the interior of the Caddy Cross with a two-tone front seat design, with contrasting inserts on the door panels. The interior of the panel van is fitted with height and length adjustable centre armrest, leather-covered steering wheel and distinctive grey stitching on the gear knob and handbrake. VW will commence the production of the Caddy Cross in early 2013. VW’s newest panel van will be powered by a variety of engines, including the 4MOTION all-wheel drive. VW expects to roll out the Caddy Cross in the UK in the first half of 2013.
