Vorsteiner unveiled today its latest tuning kit developed for the Bmw X5M. As you may remember, the tuning company also tuned the Bmw X6M and left some of us speechless. We have to admit that the new X5M had the same effect on us as the X6M. As you can see from the photos, the new tuning kit consists of a new front hood, an add-on front spoiler as well as an add-on rear air diffuser with integrated exhaust system.
The carbon fiber combined with the white color gives a new look to the car and because we are talking about Vorsteiner, expect high quality parts. According to the manufacturer, the aerodynamic components are made using Vorsteiner’s latest autoclaved pre-preg carbon fiber, and this process adds strength and durability over traditional carbon fiber components.
Regarding the engine, Vorsteiner didn’t give us any details, but we are sure that this can also be improved. For those who don’t know, the X5M comes as standard with a 4.4-liter V8 engine delivering 555 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque (680 Nm) from 1500 to 5,650 rpm. With these numbers, it can sprint from naught to 60 in just 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph.
