Vw Golf VI Variant unveiled

Volkswagen Golf VI VariantAn estate variant of the latest Golf has been revealed by VW and it comes with engine choices that include two diesel and four gasoline powerplants. First time in the engine lineup of the estate is the 101bhp 1.6-liter common rail TDI, which the carmaker claims to be quiet and comes with a low emission rate of 119g/km of CO2 and it joins a 2.0-liter TDI. The four gasoline units range in power output from 77bhp to 156bhp. The new model comes with two new optional driver assistance systems first to be installed on the estate. The first one is the automatic parking assistant called Park Assist and the other one is the rear-view camera designated as Rear Assist. On the exterior, the estate receives the nose of the latest MK6 and the rear section has been refreshed with fresh taillights and bumpers in body color. In the interior the car received new instruments and new three-spoke steering wheel as introduced ont eh Passat CC. The new Golf estate, priced at about €18,500 will begin deliveries early in 2010.
