Vw releases the first sketch with its upcoming mid-size sedan

Volkswagen of America released today the first sketch of its upcoming mid-size sedan that is set to go on sale in the fall of 2011 as a 2012 model. The new sedan will be manufactured at the Vw plant in Chattanooga which is currently being built. The German manufacturer plans to start the production in at the beginning of 2011 and Vw expects to sell at least 100,000 units annually, each priced at about $20,000. While the main market for this mid-size sedan will be in United States, Volkswagen will also export this car to other successful markets. Photo gallery after the jump!
