VW Swiss Up! Concept

Volkswagen will be extending its New Small Family lineup with the potential addition of the swiss up! concept. As the name suggest, it is an up! with designs that reflect Switzerland, which is the host nation of this year's Geneva International Motor Show. The exterior and interior of the swiss up! concept showcase the colors of the national flag of Switzerland -- white and red. It also has a dominating and clear stance, just like the Swiss Alps.

The four-door concept vehicle adopts the Swiss flag's basic red color in its 'tornado red' exterior paintwork. Meanwhile, the white 'porcelain paint' of the wheel caps and door mirror housings is an accolade to the white cross of the flag. The red and white of the exterior complement the interior colors. The 'ceramique' trim color in the interior delivers a friendly, bright atmosphere. The leather also has the 'ceramique' color in the seats' outer area, the middle of the back bench seat and the rear head restraints.

Classic brown Alcantara wraps the seat surfaces and the grab handles in the roofliner. A narrow leather band in the Alcantara color runs laterally through the center panels of the front seat's backrests. It has contrasting white seams. A holder for a Victorinox pocket knife is worked into each leather band.  The decorative bezels of the round air vents are in 'tornado red' color. White, silk-like 'porcelain paint' accents the dashboard.
