Vw Tiguan R-Line unveiled in the U.K.

Volkswagen Individual, a separate engineering branch of VW started in 2003 and assigned to special projects like the Passat R36 and Touareg R50, was responsible for designing and building the new car. External appearance have been changed to include a new body-colored front splitter located under the bumper up front, broadened wheel arches and new R Line 19-inch multi-spoke alloys wrapped in 255/40 rubber. Also fitted are a set of body-colored sill extensions and a new rear bumper that comes with a small air diffuser and rear air spoiler. In the interior the R Line is a new flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel and curved sports seats with "R" emblems. Standard on the car is a two-zone climate control. Engine lineup for the R Line includes 2.0-liter TDI common rail diesel units that produce 138bhp and 168bhp, together with a 2.0-liter TSI unit that comes with 197bhp. The price for the 2.0-liter TSI is £26,300.
