WBA World Heavyweight Champion David Haye joins Jaguar Academy of Sport

WBA World Heavyweight Champion, David Haye, is the newest member of the Jaguar Academy of Sport. The British car brand revealed this piece of news at the Jaguar Boutique in London. During the announcement, Haye was joined by the upcoming star from the Jaguar Academy of Sport, boxer Jeff Saunders. In a release, Haye shared that he believes that the Jaguar Academy of Sport is a “great initiative,” which may have a positive influence on young athletes as they start their careers. He added that he wants to give back to the British sport and he now looks forward to supporting the next generation. The Jaguar Academy’s Bursary Fund supports new British sporting talent and an annual Awards Ceremony. Jaguar Academy of Sport rising star Jeff Saunders said that David Haye is one of his sporting idols and so he jumped at the chance to meet him. He also considers Haye to be an inspiration and he vowed to “take all of his advice on board.”
David Haye commented: “I am thrilled to be working with the Jaguar Academy of Sport, it is a great initiative and one that could have a really positive affect on young athletes at the beginning of their careers. Jeff Saunders, from Sedgefield County Durham, stated: “When Jaguar Academy of Sport rang and asked if I would like to come down today to meet David Haye I jumped at the chance. I have had an amazing day and I can’t believe I have met one of my sporting idols, he has been an inspiration to me and I will take all of his advice on board.”
