Wiesmann to built right-hand-drive GT vehicles

Wiesmann of Germany has produced and delivered nearly 1,000 copies of its MF sports vehicle in the body style of both GT and Roadster, however all of these have been constructed only in left-hand-drives. The firm has lately declared that it will begin making right-hand-drive versions beginning March 2009, with the latest V8-propelled MF4 and V10-propelled MF5 being the first cars to be offered with a right-hand-drive.
Wiesmann is seeking to increase its global profile and has been getting strong demand from markets with right-hand-drive like the UK, Japan, India, South Africa and Australia. If demand stays up, Wiesmann intends to inaugurate right-hand-drive models of its Roadster in 2010.Weismann, which is based in Dülmen, Germany, also lately commemorated its 20th anniversary and to mark the event made available a unique '20th Anniversary Editions' variant of its two-seater MF3 roadster, the closed-top MF4 Grand Tourer and the high-performance MF5. The company manufactures most of its components in-house, however some parts are sourced from Bmw, like engines and transmissions. Photo gallery after the jump!
