Wimmer RS Speed Biturbo based on Porsche 911 GT2
The tuning specialists at Wimmer RS have released their own version of the bi-turbo Porsche 911 GT2 Speed. The Speed is based on the standard 997 GT2 and features two Wimmer turbochargers and revisions to the engine block, pistons, connecting rods, injector nozzles, sports camshafts, inlet system, and throttle valve.
In addition, Wimmer installed an intercooler and a specially tuned performance exhaust system. Wimmer also replaced the engine software. With these modifications, the engine now has the capacity to generate 827 horsepower and 948 Nm of torque. The GT2 Speed is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and 0-300 km/h (0-186.4 mph) in 20.2 seconds. It can achieve a top speed of 378 km/h (234.9 mph). The GT2 Speed can be ranked alongside the likes of Sportec’s own hyper 911 known as the SPR1 M with 858hp. The car also has the following features: a carbon fiber rear lip spoiler, carbon fiber rear-view mirrors, H&R sport springs, and Sportec wheels outfitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires..
