Audi announced today that at the 29th Worthersee Tour (May 12 - 15) in Reifnitz (Carinthia), Austria, it will unveil seven different models of the A1 hatchback but also the brand new Audi R8 GT in Samoa Orange Metallic (which you can see it here), the R8 V10 Spyder and the new RS 5. One of the A1 versions will be a tribute to the FC Bayern football team and will feature a 1.4 TFSI engine as well as a special paint finishe and adhesive films. This compact car has the Number 10 of FC Bayern star Arjen Robben on the roof and on the doors. The A1 Competition Kit is based on the legendary Audi rally cars from the 1980s.
The car features an Amalfi White paint finish and the original colors of the Urquattro (Begonia Red, Stone Gray and Gray Brown) while the interior evokes memories of the racing successes racked up by quattro technology. The Audi A1 Follow Me comes with a Citrus Yellow paint finish as well as a black checkerboard pattern which resembles airport ground control vehicles.
The Audi A1 Hot Rod model boasts a matt-finish look and extremely low ride height but also steel wheels with white-wall tires in keeping with the classic hot rod style. The design team has also given a friendly wink to the local water rescue service and toll sticker collectors, paying them homage with the Wasserwacht and Pickerljager A1 special editions, respectively. The seventh model comes in a special offbeat eggplant purple tone and is described as the Fashion edition.
