Xplore introduces its customized Ram truck

Xplore Ram

Ram is the first to be given the Xplore treatment, according to Venchurs Vehicle Systems, a company that aims to transform SUVs and off-roaders into the ideal vehicles for explorers. Venchurs has set its eyes on the pickup truck segment. After Ram, Venchurs will be working on the Chevrolet Silverado and the Ford F-Series. Customers are allowed to choose from among four stages of customization, depending on their expedition requirements. Stage 1 offers a Katzkin leather interior, with options like Mopar parts and accessories.

Meanwhile, Stage 2 features XPLORE/Method black aluminum wheels, huge BF Goodrich off-road rubber, Bilstein 5100 Series adjustable shocks, an XPLORE polished stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system, XPLORE aluminum badges and XPLORE heavy-duty floor mats. Stage 3 provides some excellent expedition features, including ARB equipment like racks, roof-top tents and recovery gear. Its options list includes hule racks, Warn winches and industrial strength tonneau covers. Choosing Stage 4 means that your vehicle will be built-to-order at Venchurs Vehicle Systems facilities in Southern California or Adrian, Michigan. Its features include Custom matte paint finishes, graphics, leather interiors, AMP PowerStep retractable running boards, and Bed-Xtender, bed-slides.

"Trucks are the workhorses that support outdoor enthusiasts of all flavors," says Jeff Wyatt, CEO of Venchurs. "From hauling boats, hunting gear, dirt bikes, ATVs and camping gear to serving as a mobile campsite, trucks do it all. XPLORE trucks are fitted with the best-of-the-best equipment and designed to stand apart in function, style and performance."
