Yamaha motorcycles now available with Akrapovič exhaust systems

The coming together of Yamaha and Akrapovič, two of the most esteemed brands in the industry, is exciting news. The UK launch of this team-up will be witnessed by those who will be visiting the 2011 Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC. Akrapovič is a leading producer of innovative and exclusive exhaust systems. Akrapovič has been sponsoring Yamaha's WSB team for several years and in 2011, it was the sponsor for the Yamaha MotoGP team. Starting in 2012, Yamaha's authorized UK dealer network will exclusively offer a broad range of Akrapovič exhausts for Yamaha's key motorcycle and scooter models.
The overall accessories market considers the after-market exhaust business as a very important and competitive aspect. The two companies share the same high levels of commitment to durability, ergonomics, quality and design. The Yamaha/Akrapovič partnership is welcome news for their fans. Akrapovič developed and built this new exhaust range for Yamaha motorcycles and scooters. It will display a one-of-a-kind laser engraved Yamaha model-specific logo as well as the Akrapovič logo.
Majority of the newest on-road exhausts are offered fully road-legal and are homologated for EU sound and emissions regulations. This range is for circuit-only use and will also have competition-specification exhausts for chosen Yamaha bikes. Yamaha's main 2012 motorcycle and scooter models and certain pre-2012 versions of these models will be covered by the Akrapovič range.
