The XT1200Z Super Ténéré of Yamaha is a real-world motorcycle that can cross continents, with its DNA founded on 40 years of rally raiding. In March, Yamaha will launch the Worldcrosser, pandering on the sports-focused side of the Super Ténéré. The Worldcrosser was first revealed as a concept ride at the Motorcycle Live in 2010.
This limited edition model has all the benefits of the established XT1200Z Super Ténéré such as the Traction Control, linked brakes, shaft drive and ABS. It is also fitted with a variety of specially developed high-specification chassis as well as bodywork components designed to boost its 'go-anywhere' abilities.
This rugged high-performance parallel-twin features exclusive lightweight carbon parts like the fork protectors, frameguards and sidepanels. For an extra boost in protection off-road, the ride is fitted with a drive shaft shield, rear brake protector manufactured from black anodised aluminum as well as a skid plate. The Super Ténéré Worldcrosser is available in two exclusive graphic options -- red speedblock with red accents and black speedblock with yellow gold accents. It will be sold for £12,999, excluding first registration fee and road fund license.
