Yamaha XJ Series now available in Race Blu colour treatment

Yamaha XJ6 Race Blu

Yamaha will be rolling out its new Race Blu color treatment to its showroom floors in very limited number in the next few weeks. The new color scheme, fresh from its show debut in Germany, honors Yamaha's race DNA and employs a complex combination of Yamaha Blue and Matt Grey to create a sophisticated new look. Yamaha designers were able to focus on various components by highlighting selected body parts in Yamaha Blue, giving models a modern and streetwise image. The first model to don the Race Blu color combination will be the mid-range XJ-Series, which includes the XJ6 ABS, XJ6 Diversion and XJ6 Diversion F. One of the striking modifications made to the 2013 model XJ6 is its redesigned side panels, which now sport a more integrated shape that runs seamlessly into the sculpted fuel tank. As the XJ6 is a naked model with minimal bodywork, the redesigned side panels give the bike a sleeker, more flowing profile. The new design of XJ6 also highlights its characteristic 'mass-forward' layout, which plays up its light and aggressive image. Complementing the stylish new side panels is XJ6’s freshly designed headlight cowl, giving the bike’s front end a lighter look. Yamaha introduced all of these compact modifications in the 2013 model XJ6 to underscore its sporty and agile character. All 2013 XJ-Series models also feature backlit LED instrument panels for better readability.
