Any person you ask about a Volkswagen Beetle can probably distinguish it from a lineup, and that is because this car has been very popular worldwide and has been around for a very long time now. Well, one thing we also know about it is that the VW will not produce a new model anytime soon, and this is why German tuner ABT Sportsline is showing us that there still is life in the aging vehicle. You might think that is just a show car, but the special Beetle Convertible is actually a commission by a managing director of a medium sized company.
Let us first talk about the droptop vehicle’s exterior, as it features a bronze wrap with a slightly matte finish that is complemented with the black logos. It then sits on a set of 19 inch wheels with five sets of double spokes and what the firm refers to as a silver bullet finish.
Because the Beetle is quite an old model, we won’t expect it to have a super powerful engine. This is why Abt decided to install engine upgrades that pushes the 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder’s output to 286 horsepower (213 kilowatts) instead of the standard 217 horsepower (162 kilowatts). Along with the engine upgrade is a brake upgrade that includes six piston calipers and 14.57 inch (370 millimeter) rotors. The overall ride height has been lowered as well because of the new springs.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline shows us a modern day VW Beetle
Since the Audi SQ5 first came out, Bavarian tuner did nothing but think up different scenarios for this hot crossover. ABT Sportsline has been offering various upgrade packages for the latest generation. The aftermarket tuners are also revising the temporary top dog in the Q5 family with a wide array of upgrades for customers who cannot wait any longer for the Audi Sport to come out with the RS Q5.
When looking at it from the exterior, ABT gave the Audi SQ5 a new and more aggressive body kit that is wider than the original. They say that the SQ5 looks even more dominant in the rearview mirror after this upgrade. In fact, we would say that it is quite a comprehensive package with those wide hips granted by the fender extensions, together with a new front skirt and muscular side skirts that will definitely catch your attention.
Moving on to the rear, the ABT then gave the SQ5 a newly developed exhaust system with real tips covered in carbon that’s now in place of the decorative chrome housings of the standard model. The quad tips then have a pseudo diffuser that helps the crossover send out a sportier vibe that is enhanced by the prominent spoiler that’s attached to the roof.Read the entire article 2018 Audi SQ5 has been lowered by ABT Sportsline to make it look like a hatchback
For many years, tuners have been turbocharging vehicles to give them more power. It has become exceedingly popular among car enthusiasts to boost the performance of their city cars, turning them into supercars. It is this setting that has prompted German tuner ABT Sportsline to take an Audi RS5 and turn it into a powerhouse.
ABT recently confirmed that they will be attending the upcoming 2018 Geneva Motor Show, and what they will be showcasing would be the limited edition Audi RS5 Coupe, which is limited to only 50 examples.
What ABT did to the premium compact car was that it gave its 2.9 liter biturbo V6 engine a little boost, and now it is able to produce 530 PS (523 horsepower) and 690 Newton metres (509 pound feet) of torque.Read the entire article Audi RS5-R by ABT Sportsline is coming to 2018 Geneva Motor Show
Audi Sport, a division of Audi, has long made it known that it will be expanding its lineup in the coming years. The main focus though would be on releasing new SUVs with the RS Q5 leading the way and revealed to be already in the pipeline.
Those who are familiar with this luxurious crossover know that the first generation was never given the entire RS treatment. The company disclosed that the latest model will likely be different with the RS Q5 expected to be released sometime in 2018. The problem however is that some customers, even loyal ones, may not be willing to wait that long. This is where ABT enters the picture.

The Audi RS5 Coupe is a real stunner with its athletic looks and sporty performance. Regarded as a Gran Turismo among RS models by Audi Sport’s chief executive, the Audi RS5 Coupe offers 450 hp (336 kW) of max output and a 442 lb.-ft. (600 Nm) of peak torque, as derived from a 2.9 liter bi-turbo V6 engine. Getting a top-down version of the Audi RS5 Coupe is out of the question for now, but the good guys at ABT Sportsline are willing to offer a beefed up variant of the Audi S5 Cabriolet.
It is not exactly the RS5 Cabriolet, but ABT Sportsline’s creation is close – the ABT S5 Cabriolet. The most fundamental change made for the S5 Cabriolet is its power rating. As standard, a typical Audi S5 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine that could deliver 354 hp (260 kW) of max output and 500 Nm of peak torque.
That’s nowhere close to the power rating of the dynamic mill inside the RS5 Cabriolet. However, the German tuner’s ABT Engine Control (AEC) made this already powerful engine become more dynamic, with the output and torque levels surging to 425 hp (313 kW) and 550 Nm, respectively. ABT Sportsline is also making this power tweak available for other body variants of the Audi S5.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline boosts looks and performance of Audi S5 and A5 Sportback
Can you imagine a car as small as Volkswagen Golf carry out as much as 400 horsepower? Well, you don’t have to imagine that anymore. Thanks to ABT Sportline, this was made possible in the Golf R. The best part about it is that it is road legal. Also, that is not all there is to the hot hatchback, as it had also been given some styling upgrades.
Most of the increase in the engine power comes from the engine tuning that ABT Sportline did. The tuner equipped the Golf R with a unique ABT Engine Control unit that maximizes the Golf’s turbocharged four cylinder that produces 310 horsepower up to a full 400 ponies. But it is not just the horsepower that benefits from this, because the torque also goes up to 368 pound-feet, and it is spread out to the all-wheel drive system.
The Golf R can be driven with only the power boost, but you can also get a suspension upgrade with new anti-roll bars and springs that ABT Sportline offers as an option. This lowers the hatchback by 20mm in front and 25mm in the rear. But there is also an option where the suspension’s height can be adjusted, dropping it as low as 45mm, making it look sweeter while being more handy when it comes to the handling department. This is paired with a six-piston brake upgrade that is capable of stopping a car with 400 horses.Read the entire article ABT Sportline gives the 2017 VW Golf R 400 horsepower
You may have heard about the boost that ABT Sportsline gave the Skoda Octavia RS. However, the changes are not as significant outwardly compared to what has been done on the engine. Well, it has received a new set of custom 19-inch wheels, and a stiffer sports suspension, lowering its overall height by 20 millimeters. But most of the magic happens under the hood.
The Octavia RS now has a new 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine. It used to have an output of only 230 horsepower and 258 pound feet (350 Newton metres) of torque. What ABT did to Skoda’s TSI unit, which is the same as what many other Volkswagen models have received, is to bring out 315 horsepower and 332 pound-feet (450 Nm) of torque. Because of the use of the bespoke engine control module, the model now offers an additional 85 horsepower and 74 lb-ft (100 Newton metres) from the standard model. This makes it perform much better as well; however, the tuner has not officially released its details.
Inside, it still comes with an infotainment system with electronic driver aids as well as safety features that come standard. Some of the safety features include adaptive light and front fog lights that work as cornering lights. The external and internal rear view mirrors have an auto-dimming function as well.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline offers tuning package for the Skoda Octavia RS with up to 315hp output
Earlier this year, Audi revealed the 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, and not long after it has been unveiled, tuners are getting their hands on it, and giving it their own style and performance upgrade. German tuner ABT Sportline is one of the first tuners that have already tuned the two-door Audi Sport performance coupe.
When delivered straight from the factory, the RS5 Coupe is equipped with a 2.9 liter V6 with as much as 450 horsepower and 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-metres) of torque. That is already quite impressive, but ABT decided to push its output even further to an additional 60 HP and 59 lb-ft (80 Nm) of torque from the TFSI engine. That gives the RS5 a total of 510 horsepower (375 kilowatts) and 502 pound-feet (680 Nm) or torque.
For those who have already purchased an RS5 Coupe, or are about to get one, you might want to know that the German tuner will ask for €4,760 (or $5,600) for the package they are offering. This includes assembly of the parts at their facility, but excludes VAT.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline is the first to tune the 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe
ABT Sportline’s latest project is aimed at the base Audi R8 model, specifically at its 5.2 liter V10 engine that produces 540 horsepower. The aftermarket company’s new power package enables the V10 engine to give out an extra 70 horsepower to its current output. With ABT’s power package, the R8 will be almost as powerful at the Plus trim, but will cost much less.
Though the tuner does not give specific details on how they gave the R8 an additional 70 horsepower apart from “optimizing the motor management”. What we can see is that the ABT Sportline gave the R8 a new set of forged black 19-inch alloy ER-F wheels, which are probably even lighter than the original set. But customers can choose even larger wheels, the 20-inch GR rims as an option.
If the new 610 horsepower engine is good enough for you to handle, you can bring your new R8 home with that. But ABT Sportline is glad to give your R8 more upgrades including a pair of body kits that are named “Street” and “Race”. These body kits come with a range of aero tweaks from the front skirt, the new rear panel and the rear skirt. For an extra powerful ride, ABT Sportline can give you a new stainless steel exhaust system that adds 20 horsepower. If you’re curious, this power upgrade costs €7,386, without installation. But there are a lot more than can be done.Read the entire article ABT-tuned Audi R8 V10 offers 630 horsepower
In 1896, Johann Abt started a blacksmith shop in Kempten, Germany. Currently, the company is focusing on projects involving a variety of cars from the Volkswagen Group, from the Skoda Citigo to the Audi R8 supercar. One of ABT Sportline’s latest project is the TT RS, making it resemble its bigger brother more.
Dubbed TT RS-R, ABT Sportsline is only upgrading 50 units each of the coupe and the roadster. Both models will be equipped with a five-cylinder, turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that can produce an extra 100 horsepower more than the standard model - giving out a total of 500 horsepower (368 kilowatts) and 570 Newton-metres (420 lb-ft) of torque. That is an additional 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).Read the entire article Audi TT RS-R gets the ABT Sportsline treatment and 500 hp
After seeing the A5 Cabrio in action for over a decade, ABT Sportsline for sure knows the best aftermarket options for your new Audi. ABT now offers the 2nd generation Audi A5 Cabriolet a new tuning kit. Using ABT’s new power boost, Audi A5’s 248hp (252PS) and 273lb-ft (370Nm) of torque 2.0 liter petrol engine can raise its output by up to 325hp (330PS) and 325lb-ft (440Nm). That is nearly the same output as the new 3.0-liter V6 engine on the Audi S5 Cabriolet which delivers an impressive 354hp (359PS) and 369lb-ft (500Nm) of torque.
Alternatively, the German tuner offers an upgrade for the A5’s Diesel variant. The stock model’s 212hp (215PS) and 325lb-ft (440Nm) 2.0-liter TDI engine can get an additional 25hp (25PS) and 30lb-ft (40Nm) power boost. Owners of the new Audi A5 with 3.0-liter TDI can also avail of ABT’s power kit. This will increase the larger engine’s standard output of 215hp (218PS) to 246hp (250PS) while the normal 295lb-ft (400Nm) of torque is now pushed to the limits at 332lb-ft (450Nm).
Customers who want to give their new Audi A5 Cabriolet more muscle can also choose from ABT Sportsline’s 19-inch and 20-inch wheels in different varieties. Another option is the high performance tires provided by Dunlop and Continental to wrap the new set of wheels.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline gears up to give more power to your new 2018 Audi A5 Cabriolet
Would you like to shred the streets riding an Audi S3 Cabrio that has had its engine boosted? You're in luck, as a leading auto tuning company has stepped up its game and remade the Audi S3 into a raging speed sports car.
Audi S3 Cabriolet is the convertible, roofless variant of the S3 hatchback that is largely influenced by the S3 Saloon, and is geared to compete against the BMW 2 Series Convertible and the Porsche Boxster. The S3 Cabriolet comes with a 2.0 L turbocharged petrol engine that delivers around 305 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. Features come with direct and indirect injection system, high strength connecting rods, twin balancer shaft and pure aluminium pistons.
But this convertible will be getting the makeover, ABT Sportsline style. The tuner's ABT Power S package produces speed that has been deemed impressive by the car enthusiasts. It has been compared to a hurricane, but even a hurricane can rarely achieve a wind speed that’s faster and stronger than what the tweaked S3 Cabrio can dish out.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline offers power package for the 2017 Audi S3 Cabrio

The Audi R8 V10 may have been inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo but one common observation among people is that it does not offer much when it comes to style. As a way of addressing this and to offer something more to those who want a more athletic look, ABT Sportsline is offering a specific package just for that.
Known around the world for tuning models from Audi, the company is coming out with the ABT R8 V10 Plus. The package is not just about appearance as ABT also put in some upgrades to the suspension, lowered some of the weight, and even modified some features of the interior.
Both the skirts in the front and the rear are now closer to the road. The front lip is complemented by the blades on the front, rear, and sides, and this helps enhance the aerodynamics. There are also wheel arch vents which not only add to the design but contribute an important function as well. To match the sportier look, ABT is offering the customers the option to choose between two wheels.Read the entire article ABT presents kit for Audi R8 V10 adds 20 hp, tweaks interior and suspension
Audi’s S4 Avant isn’t the premium luxury car you’re used to hearing about. While it may have an understated look, the Audi S4 Avant does feature a powerful engine that is complemented by an array of advanced technologies. But if you want more, you could go and visit ABT Sportsline, which is offering a unique package that breaks the current dynamic limits of the present S4 Avant.
The current Audi S4 Avant is powered by a new turbocharged V6 TFSI engine, replacing the supercharged unit of its predecessors. Serving as the core of the S4 Avant is a recently developed turbocharged V6 engine with petrol direct injection. This 3.0 TFSI V6 powerplant is tuned to deliver 354 PS (349 hp) of max output and 500 Nm (368.8 lb.-ft.) of peak torque available in broad range of engine speeds ranging from 1,300 rpm to 4,500 rpm. Compared to its predecessor, the new turbocharged V6 TFSI engine is more powerful while being lighter and more fuel-efficient. This allows the Audi S4 to dash from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.7 seconds and to reach a top speed that’s electronically limited at 155 mph (250 km/h).
ABT Sportsline, however, thinks that the Audi S4 Avant isn’t powerful and quick enough with its 354 PS of output, 550 Nm of torque and 4.7 seconds of zero-to-62 mph sprint time. This is why the tuner from Germany is kind enough to create a new package that would bump up the performance level of the Audi S4 Avant’s 3.0-liter TFSI V6 petrol engine. This new performance package is designed to increase the max output level of the Audi S4 Avant 354 PS (349 hp) to 425 PS (419 hp). In addition, ABT Sportsline’s new performance package is able to hike the amount of peak torque that the V6 engine could produce from 500 Nm (368.8 lb.-ft.) to 550 Nm (406 lb.-ft.).Read the entire article ABT Sportsline tweaks 2017 Audi S4 Avant to deliver 425 PS of output and 550 Nm of torque
With the recent unveiling of the new Audi RS3 Sedan, discerning S3 owners with an eye for sporty dynamic performance are presented with several options. They could sell off their S3 rides and get the new RS3 Sedan. Or they could contact German-based tuner ABT Sportsline and settle for more powerful version of the S3.
ABT could transform the Audi S3 Sedan into a sportier riding machine by offering a number of tweaks from the engine to its exhaust. Specifically, ABT is offering two ABT Power software units that tune the sedan’s 2.0 four-cylinder TFSI engine to a whole new level. For instance, the ABT Power software could hike the TFSI’s power from 228 kW (310 hp) of output and 400 Nm of torque to around 272 kW (370 hp) of output and 480 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the ABT Power S software could significantly hike the engine’s power to 294 kW (400 hp) of max output and 500 Nm of peak torque.
That is higher than the 362 hp of output and 465 Nm of torque developed by the 2.5-liter TFSI engine under the hood of the Audi RS3. With the ABT Power S software, the 2.0 four-cylinder TFSI engine is as powerful as the improved variant of the 2.5-liter TFSI powerplant that develops 394 hp of output and 480 Nm of torque available between 1,700 rpm and 5,850 rpm. Since the Audi RS3 could sprint from zero to 100 km/ (62 mph) in around 4.1 seconds, we could expect the ABT-tuned S3 to perform about the same.Read the entire article ABT Sportsline modifies Audi S3 to be as powerful as new RS3 Sedan
