AC Schnitzer program for new BMW i8 Roadster I15 results to meaner open-seater

With a starting price of around $163,000, the new BMW i8 Roadster (I15) is one of the most expensive offerings on the market from the premium German carmaker carmaker. It is around $20,000 more expensive from its hard-roofed twin, the i8 Coupe. Yet, such a high price doesn’t mean more elements can be added. In fact, renowned German tuner AC Schnitzer have a number of things to offer for the new i8 Roadster.

To sum up the overall effect of these add-ons and to provide clients a good picture of how their BMW i8 Roadster (I15) would like when the extra components have been installed, AC Schnitzer built a sample car. This i8 (I15) by AC Schnitzer looks meaner and more aggressive than a typical i8 Roadster, thanks to the number of added aerodynamic elements, new wheels, lower ride height and a sportier interior.

Finished in white with some black accents, the i8 Roadster (I15) by AC Schnitzer is marked up front with the AC Schnitzer front grille for BMW kidney, which is also known as the hot climate version. The face of this i8 Roadster is also defined by AC Schnitzer carbon front spoiler elements and AC Schnitzer carbon middle front spoiler. Likewise, the AC Schnitzer has crafted carbon front side wings, carbon mirror cover and carbon door handle panels for the new i8 Roadster.

Speed Yellow BMW M4 Convertible by AC Schnitzer stuns crowds in Abu Dhabi

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are among a small number of places where flashy cars are a common sight. You will need something really unique if you would like to stand out from the crowd. One fine example is this Speed Yellow BMW M4 Convertible that has been tuned by AC Schnitzer. Abu Dhabi and Al Ain get their vehicles from Abu Dhabi Motors, the official importer of BMW, Alpina and AC Schnitzer vehicles.

This AC Schnitzer M4 is a beauty. No one will disagree with that statement even after seeing treatments from other tuners like Liberty Walk. The front splitter, drive planes, mirror caps and rear accents are made with carbon fiber bits.

The upgrades are so smooth that they look as if they have been equipped from the factory. This M4 was also given the dark finished exhaust tips that look more than amazing. But if there’s one thing that a lot of people are unsure about when it comes to styling is the AC Schnitzer AC1 wheels with thin spokes, as they don’t seem to go too well with the rest of the body.

AC Schnitzer offers upgrade package for Jaguar F-Pace

German tuning shop AC Schnitzer is all well-known for tweaking aftermarket vehicles made by BMW and Mini as well as, to some extent, Land Rover. However, that doesn’t mean that this famed German tuner is limited to tuning such vehicle makes. As proof, it recently churned a vehicle from Land Rover’s sister brand, Jaguar.

However, AC Schnitzer’s latest creation is somewhat subdued when compared to its previous works. We are referring to a tweaked version of the Jaguar F-Pace, courtesy, of course, of AC Schnitzer. Nonetheless, the tweaks made on the Jaguar F-Pace are visually enticing as well as performance enhancing. After all the works were done, this F-Pace became the very first Jaguar that AC Schnitzer has tuned.

Up front, the most apparent changes include the installation of a new front fascia with a carbon fiber diffuser – a new aerodynamic component that could be availed on the "R-Sport," "S," "Pure," "Prestige," or "Portfolio" trims of the Jaguar F-Pace. This aerodynamic element on the front is matched on the rear with the addition of a new rear roof wing, thereby allowing the tweaked F-Pace to generate more downforce than its regular counterpart.

AC Schnitzer to present modified BMW i8 at 2017 Geneva Motor Show

Given how it has been shaped, it is not surprising that many people will imagine that the BMW i8 has somehow been brought in from the future. With that in mind, AC Schnitzer worked on making sure that this sporty coupe stands out even more.

To make this happen, the company installed a number of carbon fiber components on the i8. On the front section for example, the add-on placed on the bumper gives it a much more aggressive look. This is then enhanced by putting in mounting on the bumper’s sides while the wings that have been dipped in carbon fiber.

Since carbon fiber is a lightweight material, the company made sure to fully utilize this not only on the side skirts but also on the door handles and the mirror caps. Rounding off the carbon fiber treatment on the exterior in the rear section are the three-piece diffuser and the fixed wing.

Nearly a year ago at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, AC Schnitzer unveiled a 570-hp monster in the form of the AC Schnitzer ACL2. For the 2017 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, AC Schnitzer will be unveiling a new version that is less powerful but is nonetheless appealing.

AC Schnitzer is introducing its new BMW M240i ACL2S, a special edition model that the German tuner has come up with as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations. As its moniker indicates, this special edition is based on the BMW M240i. However, AC Schnitzer implemented a number modifications aimed at upgrading both the looks and the performance of a typical BMW M240i.

As it is, a typical BMW M240i is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine that could develop 335 hp of max output and 369 lb.-ft. of peak torque. When paired to a manual transmission, this engine allows the BMW M240i to accelerate from zero to 62 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. But when mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, this powerplant allows the car to sprint from nil to 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds.

It is a undisputed that the BMW X6 M is already one of the most daring-looking SUV coupes in the market but it doesn’t mean there’s no more room for improvement.

Apparently, a BMW X6 M has just received a serious makeover. It comes from none other than the BMW dealership in Abu Dhabi. Yes, these guys are back and they’ve just created another extraordinary rolling machine.

To be exact, their latest makeover project is based on a BMW X6 xDrive50i. Since it is unclear if they had upgraded its engine, maybe we’ll just take it from there. A BMW X6 xDrive50i comes with a 4.4-litre V8 stock engine. If they didn’t touch anything under the hood, then what we have here is the same BMW with 455 hp that runs up to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.

How does one go about in making customers seriously consider the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports cars? You can ask BMW Abu Dhabi Motors, the exclusive importer of BMW vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

BMW Abu Dhabi Motors simply needed to highlight the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports cars in a way that people would not forget them. This is why BMW Abu Dhabi Motors took six BMW i8s and painted each with six different custom color finishes: Austin Yellow, Lava Green, Lava Orange, Lava Red, Lava Yellow and Twilight Purple.

Lined up together at Yas Marina Circuit, these BMW i8 sextuplets splendidly created a colorful highlight, which is as vivid as their specs and their plug-in hybrid powertrain. It seemed like a rainbow in the sky fell on earth and transformed into these plug-in hybrid sports cars from BMW. Well, we love rainbows, as much as we love the BMW i8.
