Be prepared to meet the ABT Sportsline RS6+, Audi’s hot and sexy wagon with insane characteristics and high performance capability. ABT, as a brand, has always kept us fascinated all these years. Because of this, it seems to have every right to go crazy. In fact, ABT Sportsline is set to bring a horde of insanely hot cars at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. One of which is the flaming hot Audi RS6 Avant with a show-stopping 695 horsepower underneath.
ABT Sportsline has yet to release the acceleration numbers on the RS6+ at this time. All the same, the stock version already boasts quite an impressive acceleration. In this case, the RS6 Avant can go from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds and from nil to 124mph (200 km/h in 12.1 seconds).
As the event is now ongoing, the German auto tuning company has finally unleashed the ABT RS6+, which will only be limited to 50 examples. Because of the boosted performance that comes from ABT’s control unit, all 50 examples will be featuring a highly impressive 695hp (705 PS) and 649 (880 Nm) lb-ft of powerful torque.Read the entire article 2017 Geneva: ABT Sportsline beefed up the Audi RS6 Avant
Audi’s RS range has two new ‘performance’ models -- the RS 7 Sportback and RS 6 Avant. These two additions make the RS badge proud with a 45PS increase in power to 605PS and 50Nm additional torque resulting in 750Nm total torque.
While it improves the output, resulting to a 3.7-second record for a 0-60mph sprint, the two models boast of having excellent fuel economy the RS is known for. In fact, it has the same low fuel consumption figures of its ‘standard’ counterparts that are the best in their class.
The peak 605PS power output and maximum torque of 700Nm are due to the 4.0-litre TFSI engine. But it comes with the overboost function capable of increasing torque to as high as 750Nm. For those interested, the RS 6 Avant and the RS 7 Sportback will be available in the UK for orders starting in November with the first deliveries scheduled for next February.Read the entire article Audi introduces RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback Performance models

The RS6 Avant is already an impressive car but it appears that Audi is preparing an even more powerful version called RS6 Avant Plus. As a result, we found out that the RS6 Avant Plus will be powered by the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine found on the standard version, delivering 600 hp, 40 hp more than the current model.
In addition, the Audi RS6 Avant Plus will offer even greater performance and agility than the standard vehicle, on or off the track. For those who don’t know, the standard RS6 Avant comes with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 560 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque available between 1,750 and 5,500 rpm.Read the entire article Dealer accidentally reveals details of new Audi RS6 Avant Plus
The Audi RS6 Avant is that type of sports car that doesn’t need any tuning for both the interior and the exterior but that didn’t stop WrapStyle Premium car styling company to do its thing on the German vehicle. With these numbers, the RS6 Avant zooms from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h.Read the entire article WrapStyle unveils Audi RS6 Avant Joker wrapped in Blue Chrome
Jon Olsson is a professional skier well known for its supercars. After it sold his PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR, Olsson showed us his new vehicle: a custom-wrapped Audi RS6 Avant. Olsson was helped transforming this vehicle by Stertman Motorsport, which installed a new H&R suspension kit as well as a Milltek exhaust system.
For those who don’t know, the Audi RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0-liter TFSI engine that generates an impressive 560 hp (412 kW) as well as 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque and is capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph. The engine is offered with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission that offers Sport or Manual modes.

2013 Audi RS 6 Avant boasts of better performance than the previous model. Letting numbers speak, the Audi RS 6 Avant could accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, and could achieve a top speed of 305 km/h (189.52 mph). While the Audi RS 6 Avant’s engine, a 4.0 TFSI, produces 412 kW (560 hp) of power, its average fuel consumption is just 9.8 liters per 100 kilometers or equivalent to 24 US mpg.
The new high-performance Audi RS 6 Avant sports car features a dynamic sporty tuning thanks to quattro GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Audi AG. The RS models run by high-powered engines comprise the forefront of the model program, as the abbreviation “RS” refers to the most powerful version of a model series; to quattro permanent all-wheel drive; to extreme handling; to an understated appearance; and to full everyday utility.
The 4.0 TFSI engine is an ideal example of Audi’s downsizing strategy in the high-performance category. The twin-turbo V8 that powers the new Audi RS 6 Avant could provide awe-inspiring power for every driving situation, thanks to its displacement of 3,993 cc. The engine reaches a maximum 412 kW (560 hp) of output between 5,700 and 6,600 rpm, with a constant 700 Nm (516.29 lb-ft) of torque available between 1,750 and 5,500 rpm.Read the entire article Geneva Motor Show: 2013 Audi RS 6 Avant features better performance than previous model
Audi may expand the RS 6 Avant lineup with a top-of-the-line variant named Plus, according to a new report. If the super wagon is approved for production, it will have more power but will be lighter than the RS 6 Avant.
When interviewed by England's CAR Magazine, Stephan Reil, the head of Audi's Quattro division, said that the RS 6 Avant's 4.0-liter V8 engine's output has to be raised by about 9% for a Plus model to attract attention during the launch.
Considering that the existing model has an output of 552hp, the figure that Reil gave implies that the eagerly awaited Plus could deliver more than 600hp. The additional power will come with a drop in weight because of the widespread use of carbon fiber and aluminum parts. In addition, it gets a model-specific suspension setup that will lend it a sportier ride.Read the entire article Rumor: Audi RS6 Avant Plus to debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show
Audi introduced today the all-new 2013 RS 6 Avant, its latest sports car that promises to take on the mighty E63 AMG Wagon. Despite the fact that the outgoing RS 6 model has a 5.0-liter V10 engine with 580 hp, the new model comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 560 hp (just like the new Bmw M5) and an impressive 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft) available between 1,750 and 5,500 rpm.
With these numbers, the new car accelerates from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds and has a top sped electronically limited to 250 km/h or 155 mph. However, this can be increased to 280 km/h (174 mph) with the optional Dynamic Package. For those who want even more, there is the Dynamic Plus Package, this can boost the top speed to an impressive 305 km/h (189.52 mph).
And because it is Audi, fuel consumption is just 9.8 liters per 100 km (24 US mpg). As expected, the car comes as standard with the start-stop system and an innovative thermal management. Furthermore, the 4.0 TFSI engine can run as a four-cylinder engine, thank to the cylinder on demand (COD) system, until the driver accelerates more strongly again. The engine is bolted to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission featuring shortened shift times.Read the entire article Audi introduces the all-new RS 6 Avant
An all-new Audi RS6 is being prepared to rival the latest BMW M5 and the Mercedes E63 AMG, which will soon be modified. It will be powered by an uprated version of the new twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that is borrowed from the S6, S7 and S8. The new RS6 was recently spotted while undergoing testing at the Nürburgring.
It’s likely to be launched at the Geneva show next year. It will go on sale in the UK in the middle of 2013. It will be offered with a saloon and estate variants. The naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V10 of its predecessor will be replaced by the new force-fed V8. Bentley has helped develop this engine, which can deliver a nominal 513bhp in the S8.
But detailed modifications such as turbocharger boost pressure are likely to add 59bhp, raising the output to 572bhp, says Autocar. It delivers power that’s at the same level as the old V10 and far more than the 414bhp of the S6 saloon and Avant. The torque is expected to go higher than the 479lb ft of the S8. A source from Audi told Autocar that it can offer over 516lb ft.Read the entire article Next-generation Audi RS6 will offer more power than the Bmw M5
The Audi RS 6 developed by the Audi branch Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm, based on numbers, is the most powerful variant of the A6. But the car is receiving a sweeping increase in power courtesy of car tuner MTM. The tuned Audi RS 6, now dubbed as MTM RS 6 R, could no longer be called or described as just a family car as it could spew out power comparable to those of super cars.
MTM RS 6 R could now provide 759 hp of output and 912 Nm of torque, allowing it to reach a top speed of 348 km/h. This output is complemented by a stainless steel exhaust system with race catalyst and features adjustable valves on two pipes, creating the perfect sound for such a powerful car.
For an ideal stop, Audi’s homemade ceramic braking system with 420mm discs don the MTM RS 6 R, which also features RS5 9x20 ET29 wheel rims wrapped in 275/35R20 tyres. Most of all, the MTM RS 6 R features a carbon front lip and a rear diffuser. With regards to its exterior looks, the MTM RS 6 R managed to personify a great family car by wrapping itself in matt blue metallic PWF.Read the entire article MTM Audi RS 6 R by Fostla with 759hp, 912 Nm torque
With speeds of 206.05 mph (331.610 km/h), an Audi RS6 was named the "fastest car on ice” as it beat the record set by a Bentley Continental Supersport of 205.48 mph or 330.695 km/h (Bentley also introduced a limited edition called Supersports 'Ice Speed Record' Convertible at the Geneva Motor Show).
The Audi RS6 was put to the test at the makeshift track on the Gulf of Bothnia in Oulu, Finland. It can be recalled that when Bentley set the speed record last February, it was equipped with Pirelli SottoZero II tires on the Continental Supersports. However, Finland-based Nokian Tyres felt that they had to prove that their tires are better.
They didn’t want to just sit by while Bentley and Pirelli set this record on ice. Nokian also revealed that it used one of its own high speed test cars (which just happened to be an Audi RS6). Nokian emphasized that Audi did not participate in this attempt for a speed record in any way. Notably, there are no separate records for tires, cars or drivers etc.Read the entire article Audi RS6 beats Bentley Continental Supersports to get “fastest car on ice” title

Production of the current generation of the Audi RS6 will shut down at the end of the third quarter of 2010 but is expected to return in a few years. Recently, the BMW M5 stopped rolling out while also being lauded for having set a production record. Audi had also revealed that the next generation Audi A6 will arrive next year.
Audi is expected to install this model with a turbocharged V8 engine that at the very least, will match what the upcoming BMW M5 uses.
What this really means is that we should expect this vehicle to offer up to 600hp. Audi wanted to emphasize that it started producing the existing RS6 in April 2008 and immediately delivered the model to showrooms.Read the entire article 2010 Audi RS6 production coming to an end
As you may know already Audi announced that it will end production of the RS6 sports car. In order to celebrate this, Cargraphic gave Audi's RS6 a boost by using either the Avant or Limo versions of the V10 in the model. Instead of the regular output of 580 hp, the top-performance engine in the 4F series can generate 665 hp.
As a result, power is boosted by about 15%. Customers may also opt to add the three-part Cargraphic GT-R 21-inch rims and their special exhaust system. The model has such a powerful roar that it fails to meet German noise regulations.
To purchase one, it will have to be exported. The 10.5x21" wheels exude both character and quality. There's an option to purchase these wheels with 285/30R21 tires. A Cargraphic factory in south west England makes the exhaust systems that are comprised of mufflers and catalytic converters.Read the entire article Cargraphic does the Audi RS6 Avant
