Customers who think the BMW 4 Series Coupe is rather ordinary are in for a treat especially with what BMW Individual and Alpina have in store. The best example is presently being displayed at BMW Abu Dhabi Motors, a dealer that looks to be getting the best toys to play around with.
Even with one look, the use of Rallye Green paint on the Alpina B4 S makes the body even more aggressive. Combined with the upgrades implemented by those at Buchloe, it is clear that this is not your standard 4 Series Coupe.
On the inside for example, BMW Individual made sure that the interior of the B4 S would be different from the usual 4 Series Coupe. The instrument cluster has blue dials with the steering wheel showing green stitching. This color theme is in fact the same as that on the exterior. While the usual 4 Series Coupe has a left air vent on its center console, the B4 S instead has an extra display. On the lower region of the console is a special plaque that proves this is not the usual car.Read the entire article 2017 Alpina B4 S Rallye Green based on BMW 4-Series Coupe is the height of exclusivity
Alpina is releasing a new limited edition model that is essentially a more powerful and more appealing re-creation of the BMW 4 Series. This is the new BMW Alpina B4 S Bi-Turbo Edition 99, which would be sold either as a convertible and coupe versions, with deliveries set next year. As its name indicates, only 99 examples of the Edition 99 will be built.
This new BMW Alpina B4 S Biturbo Edition 99 is a limited edition model of the Alpina B4 S, which was derived from the BMW 4 Series. However, the B4 S is even more powerful and more dynamic than the high performance iteration of the 4 Series – the M4 Coupe. The Coupe version of the Edition 99 can be availed either as rear-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive (left-hand drive only). The Convertible model of the Edition, meanwhile, is configured as a rear-wheel drive.
While the 3.0-liter straight-six turbocharged engine of the M4 delivers 431 hp of output, the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six mill inside the B4 S offers up to 440 hp (324 kW). It also delivers 442 lb.-ft. (660 Nm) of torque, allowing the B4 S to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.2 seconds for the standard rear-wheel-drive configuration, or 3.9 seconds with the all-wheel drive version.Read the entire article BMW Alpina B4 S Bi-Turbo Edition 99 is a more powerful limited edition B4 S
If you are looking for an awesome car, look no further than the BMW M4. But if you want something more exclusive than that, then you can opt for the Alpina-tuned 4 Series as this will definitely turn heads wherever you go.
Alpina has prepared a kit that isn’t just about the car’s looks as its performance will also be given a boost albeit, not by much. It gets a raise of 9 PS (9 horsepower) and 56 Newton metres (41 pound feet) of torque. The Alpina B4 S Bi Turbo carries out a little more power than the stock M4, thanks to its straight-six 3.0 liter engine. That may not sound a lot, but overall, that totals to an impressive number of 440 PS (434 HP) and 660 Nm (487 pound-feet) of torque in a wide speed range from 5,500 to 6,250 rpm.
For those of you who are interested in this Alpina tuned 4 Series, the white model is on display at BMW Abu Dhabi dealership. The special body kit comes with a custom front splitter, side skirts, and boot lid spoiler. It also has multi-spoke alloys and blue calipers, plus decals from the tuner.Read the entire article Alpina B4 S Bi-turbo is a cooler version than the BMW M4
Those of you who have been to the Middle East are probably used to seeing flashy cars. And when I say flashy cars, I don’t just mean expensive models, but I’m specifically talking about the colours painted on them and the interesting interiors they have. A handful of these cars are from BMW and their dealership in Abu Dhabi.
The newest one that made headlines would be the BMW 750Li. Though it is not a flagship model of the new 7 Series, it still offers an impressive performance. In as quick as 4.5 seconds, it is capable of hitting 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour). That comes from its V8 engine that carries out 445 horsepower and 650 Newton metres (479 pound feet) of torque. It also has a top speed of 155 miles per hour. The performance of this car is perfect for countries like the United States and Germany where speed is a big factor for choosing a car.
In this case, we are not only impressed by the 750Li’s performance, but also with its unique paint job, as it is finished in a cool Atlantis Blue that was customised by none other than BMW Individual. This is not actually the first time that we have seen this colour, as it had been applied to other BMWs in the past - like a couple of M3s and M4s. What makes it unique on a 750Li is the fact that customers usually stick to default colours like black, grey, or white in the 7 Series, and it is quite rare to see one in a bright blue shade.Read the entire article Seen in Abu Dhabi: Stunning BMW 750Li painted in Atlantis Blue with contrasting red interior
The Middle East is home to a number of one-off vehicles, as well as specially modified luxury cars. Almost every month, we hear about new cars being unveiled or brought into the country, and a lot of them are BMWs.
Now, one of the latest models that BMW Abu Dhabi Motors has on display is the mind blowing range-topping 7 Series that’s currently on sale. The last model we saw before this was the impressive M760Li xDrive finished in Imola Red, which we saw a few weeks ago. Now, BMW’s Long Beach Blue M760Li xDrive is just as striking as the last model we saw.
This is definitely not the first time we have seen this hue on a car. In fact, it has been used on different models like the M2 pocket rocket. You might also agree if I say that this colour looks a bit too wild on the large sedan. Thanks to the black carbon fiber accents all throughout the car, from the mirror caps to the 21-inch multi-spoke 629 design wheels, the whole package now looks so much better. But that’s not all that this car has to boast about. The car also has a 3D Design Body kit that adds some nice details here and there. Lastly, it has got a trunk lid spoiler from the M Performance.Read the entire article M760Li Individual Long Beach Blue is BMW Abu Dhabi’s latest flagship on display
For many, a dream car shouldn’t be just spacious and luxurious, but also fast and furious. The BMW M3 might be just this kind of dream car, but an M version of the 4-Series Gran Coupe would still be a better choice. But to no avail, an M4 Gran Coupe isn't happening yet, even after the 4 Series just recently received a Life Cycle Impulse (mid-cycle update).
BMW Abu Dhabi – which describes itself as an exclusive importer for BMW, MINI and BMW ALPINA in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, United Arab Emirates – has come up with a modified version of a 4-Series Gran Coupe that could be the closest thing we could get to an M4 Gran Coupe. BMW Abu Dhabi has been known for its knack in creating leveled-up versions of a typical BMW vehicle, and this latest custom-build isn't an exception.
BMW Abu Dhabi started off with a regular BMW 440i Gran Coupe. Wrapped in elegant yet sporty Snapper Rocks Blue paint finish, this 440i Gran Coupe is hugged by athletic body kit from M Performance – from its bottom to the top. Its black kidney grilles features M-colored vertical stripes on the front while its rear end features M Performance trunk lid spoiler, as complemented by an Akrapovic exhaust system with an Akrapovic Sport downpipe. Furthermore, this custom-built BMW 440i Gran Coupe rides on 20-inch M Performance wheels. Its driver is treated to an M Performance steering wheel; except for this, the interior of this new 440i Gran Coupe remains the same when it was delivered from the factory.Read the entire article BMW Abu Dhabi wraps Snapper Rocks Blue 440i Gran Coupe in M4-like guise
The photos are courtesy of a guy from Sweden who claims to have ordered a 540i x G30 and is expecting its arrival next summer. Notably, the pictures were taken without sunlight so there may be some variation. Nevertheless, this customer is excited to share these photos with fellow BMW enthusiasts to see what they have to say about this uncommon colour.
The usual silver that we’re accustomed to seeing on cars doesn’t display any hints of chrome or lilac unlike the Rhodonite Silver Metallic on the 5-series models. Interestingly, BMW Individual Program has other interesting exterior color options including Azurite Black that drops a tinge of blue into it and Champagne Quartz with traces of metallic purple, gold and beige all rolled into one. Of course, there’s the Almandine Brown Metallic that looks so dark you’d think it’s another shade of black. But since both the xDrive Touring G31 540d and the G30 530e plugin hybrid are donning BMW M Sport packages, the Individual colour must have been particularly chosen as an upgrade which we estimate will cost you about £1,740.Read the entire article Check out the Rhodonite Silver paint job on BMW 530e (G30) plug-in hybrid, 540d (G31) xDrive Touring
The BMW 7 Series is already highly sought after but nonetheless, the German marque is giving it a more exclusive variant for the Russian market, and they are calling it the 7 Series Individual Edition Black Ice. It’s only available on orders. The special edition features a ton of unique features inside and out, making it truly stand out from the rest.
The Black Ice name was derived from the model’s Frosty Black metallic finish. And it is not just your typical black paint. It has got a unique painting technology that gives it transformative properties. This is because the base metallic paint is coated with a special matte varnish. So under the right lighting, its 7 Series’ silhouette is amplified with its unique shine.
Apart from the distinct paint job, the BMW 7 Series was built with an aerodynamic M Sport package. This package has a double grille design, gloss black door handles, and a gloss black boot lid. To complete the exterior design, the Black Ice 7 Series now sits on a set of 20-inch BMW Individual V-spoke 649s with different sized tires, and of course, a body kit by M Sport. Other features that are already included on the standard edition are laser headlamps, parking assist with a remote control module, a 360-degree vision system, and an Executive Drive Pro package with roadway scanning.Read the entire article Check out this BMW 7 Series Individual Black Ice Edition exclusive to Russia
The current BMW 7 Series made its debut two years ago at the BMW headquarters in Munich, before it made its way to the International Auto Show in Germany weeks after. It was the first 7 Series that was introduced as a plug-in hybrid variant.
However, this one-off M760Li was customized by BMW Individual customization program. It wears an Austin Yellow paint job that looks good on the sedan, while riding on a set of 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. This is the only 7 Series that has been painted in this unique shade. This colour is typically reserved for an M4 or an M3, and you can find this unit showcased in BMW Abu Dhabi.
The 7 Series’ interior is then finished in creme-coloured leather, which stretches from the seats, to the dash, and to the center console. To bring some flair to it, BMW Individual also added wood paneling and black leather on the steering wheel and on the dash. When looking at it, the model’s exterior paint and interior colours seem to be lacking some contrast. We think that a black interior would make a better contrast with the yellow paint.Read the entire article Austin Yellow M760Li by BMW Individual displayed in Abu Dhabi
Every now and then, BMW Abu Dhabi gets quite a cool selection of customized cars, many of them tuned by BMW Individual. These are not just the nicest toys, but are also the most eye-catching ones as well, often in striking hues. The latest one that’s on display in one of their dealerships would be the M760Li (or M760i in the United States), and it has been finished in a Rallye Green paint that is part of the Individual catalog.
Apart from the stunning green paint, the BMW M760Li now has a front spoiler and an Alpina rear trunk lid spoiler has been added to complement that look. Smaller details such as satin chrome accents around the beefy front and side vents and mirror caps complete the exterior changes.
Changes do not stop on just the exterior, as the BMW’s cabin now features a fine-grain Merino leather upholstery in Opal white, contrasted by black stitching. Furthermore, it has been given extra accents in gloss black, as well as an upgraded entertainment system with dual screens in the rear. Since this model is a M760Li version, expect to see several “M” pieces inside and out to further boost the car’s appeal.Read the entire article Check out this Rallye Green BMW Individual M760Li displayed in Abu Dhabi
This BMW M760Li might be the car you are looking for if you are into yachts and sailing. As you know, the BMW 7-Series is the company’s range topping model, but now, it has partnered with Nautor’s Swan (which is known for their luxury sailing yachts). This special edition 760Li that comes with unique features was developed to honor 25 years of BMW Individual’s history.
To make the already luxurious model even more upscale, the company had to give it more upgrades. This includes unique brake calipers that have been finished in the same colour as the car, while wearing the exclusive Nautor’s Swan logo that only the exclusive model gets. The car also has the same logo affixed on the rear end. These are just some elements that you get on the outside, and most of the new luxury add-ons can be found in the cabin.
Details that will remind you of a yacht include teak wood paneling with joints filled precisely with a layer of rubber. This rubber helps the wood expand and contract when the climate changes, just like what you would find in a luxury sailing yacht. The trunk floor also gets carbon bonded wood components, matched with an Alcantara Smoke White finish.Read the entire article 2018 BMW Individual M760Li inspired by Nautor’s Swan sailing yacht will appear at Frankfurt
The current generation of the BMW M3 sedan – codenamed F80 -- is entering its last hurrah with impending arrival of the next generation (with G20 designation). But that doesn’t mean that the current BMW M3 isn't enticing. In fact, it is as stunning as ever. Still, BMW isn't resting to ensure that M3 remains visually striking, as made possible through its BMW Individual program. This particular BMW M3 sedan in Canada is a prime example.
A quick look at the current M3 would quickly us that it isn't an ordinary vehicle. Nonetheless, BMW has found ways to make the M3 more extraordinary as well as to make it more linked to the taste and preferences of its owners. The BMW Individual program could step in and make life a lot easier for owners wanting to personalize their BMW rides – including the M3 -- and make them stand out from the rest.
Now, a BMW M3 sedan that considers the roads of Ontario, Canada as its home was able to take advantage of the BMW Individual program. As expected, the outcome was stunning. For instance, this M3 sedan is wrapped in cool color paint dubbed as Atlantis Blue Metallic. Its name reminds us of the lost island of Atlantis, a civilization thought to be concealed by the wide blue sea. Atlantis Blue Metallic is just one of the available colors in BMW Individual’s wide palette.Read the entire article This M3 from Ontario gets groovy with visual tweaks by BMW Individual
Have you been thinking of getting a BMW M3 (F80) sedan, but are not satisfied with the standard colours you can get it in? Well, BMW Individual can give in to your every whim, and you can have whatever colour you wish for. Just like this M3 finished in a unique Java Green finish. It is nothing like what you would imagine on that car huh? But this shade is not just limited to that model; it can also be applied to models like the M4 Coupe, M6 Gran Coupe, the 7 series, and some others.
The company gets the name "Java Green" from unripe coffee beans, and the shade helps the compact sedan stand out more. Since a standard M3 looks a little plain, it had been given a number of eye-catching M Performance components from the front fascia to the rear end of the car. The M3 now comes with a prominent front splitter that makes it look more aggressive, and the black side skirts now get an "M Performance" lettering. The newest thing in the back would be the carbon fiber wing that is seamlessly attached to the trunk lid.
Moreover, this M3 has been given an updated exhaust system from the M Performance pack, giving it a louder roar. The 20-inch forged alloy wheels with a star spoke design is now paired with carbon ceramic brakes and gold calipers from the Competition Package. As for performance, the car can produce as much as 444 horsepower instead of just 425 horsepower from before.Read the entire article This Java Green BMW Individual M3 (F80) will surely catch your attention
Earlier this year, BMW Individual revealed a one-off M3 Competition finished in Mint Green that no one quite expected. This model was put up for sale at LA’s Century West BMW. This unique BMW was not ordered by a customer, but instead was commissioned by a dealership employee named Chris Marino, who was hoping that he would find a buyer for it. Well, with a car that unique, it should not be such a struggle to look for one.
Speaking of BMW Individual, and one-off M3s, there is another variant that comes after the Mint Green car, and that is the Enzian Blue BMW Individual M3 that arrived just weeks after the first model. Unsurprisingly, the order was made by the same dealer. The Enzian Blue model also has a striking blue finish just like the Mint Green one, though I would say that the latter is still more unusual.
The M3 will definitely catch one’s attention, but that does not mean that it will be attractive to everyone’s eyes. What’s nice about this colour is that it is uncommon for a sports sedan and that will guarantee that the M3 will stand out from the crowd. Who wouldn’t want that? But here’s the thing, a standard M3 is not a cheap car, and this special edition Enzian Blue model that has been modified by BMW Individual has an asking price of $100,930. That is priced significantly more than the standard M3 that starts at $64,195. What makes it even more insane is the fact that it is more expensive than a brand new M5, which offers more premium features.Read the entire article This Enzian Blue M3 (F80) by BMW Individual is a very rare sports car
There are already rumors suggesting that the next generation BMW 5-Series GT is expected to be joining the 6-Series range. The latest reports instead tell us that that 3-Series GT will also be transitioning to the next level. Are any of these true?
Autocar reported earlier that this is actually what BMW has in store for the upcoming 3-Series GT. It should be noted though that the current 3-Series line has had its mid-cycle refresh only recently. In that case, the 4-Series GT or what is believed to be its new successor may be way too far ahead.
If ever, the new member of the 4-Series family should arrive sometime in 2019 as a 2020 year model. According to the insider, BMW by that time should come out with better-performing EVs and it only makes sense if they will be offering an electric version of this as well. At the very least, BMW is expected to come out with an electric X3 within the next three years.Read the entire article Will the all-electric BMW 4-Series GT be a real rival for the Tesla Model S?
It seems like BMW will be implementing a major overhaul of its strategy, which should result to the arrival of electrified versions of its three current models. One of these models would be an electric variant of the upcoming BMW 4 Series GT, according to a report by Autocar.
Citing people privy with BMW’s plans, Autocar reported that the new 4 Series GT is planned to directly replace the current BMW 3 Series GT and indirectly supplant the 4 Series Gran Coupé, which has been experiencing low demand since its inception. This strategy would be similar to a plan involving the BMW 6 Series GT, which is set to replace the BMW 5 Series GT in the lineup this year. BMW is planning to launch an electric version of the 6 Series GT in 2018.
Meanwhile, for the new 4 Series GT, the German premium carmaker will introduce the conventionally powered versions in 2019, to be followed by electric and plug-in hybrid variants. To be underpinned by newly developed platform for the eighth-generation 3 Series, the electric version of the 4 Series GT – set to compete against the Tesla Model 3 -- could be up for sale as early as 2020 in the United Kingdom. According to the report, the performance level of the electrically powered 4 Series GT would be more or less similar to the top-performing version of the current 3 Series GT – the BMW 335d GT, which offers the 317 bhp of max output and 630 Nm of peak torque. This means that the electric motor system for the battery-powered 4 Series GT should have a total system output of around 350 bhp to match the performance of the top BMW 335d GT.Read the entire article BMW is rumored to be planning EV variant of new 4 Series GT
What defines a coupe? Well, according to the dictionary, “it is a car with a fixed roof and two doors”. Ok, now that it is clear, when does one not become a coupe? In this case, it is when it is a BMW Gran Coupe. You might think I’m confusing you here, but read along.
The 4 Series Gran Coupe was built with four doors and a liftback-style truck on its rear end. That simple description of the model will already raise several brows as it doesn’t correspond with the definition stated above. And if you think about it, its actually just a functional sedan. Now you get where I’m coming from. Though the car doesn’t match the name given to it, it is actually one of BMW’s best selling cars, out-selling the two-door coupe where it got its inspiration.
In fact, despite its later release, the total number of Gran Coupe that has been sold is higher than the figures of the traditional Coupe and the Convertible, combined - according to sales statistics shared by BMW. Globally, the Grand Coupe covers 54 percent of all 4 Series sales, whereas the remaining 46 percent is a shared by the traditional coupe and convertible.Read the entire article BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe sells better than the Coupe and Convertible
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show is turning out to be a showcase, at least for BMW. This is because the German premium carmaker has announced it will debut a couple of new cars at the prominent auto show next month.
First off, BMW will unveil the next generation of the BMW 5 Series Touring (G30) in Geneva. This will be the second body variant of the new generation of the 5 Series, after the sedan version. Available with all the elements found in the 5 Series Sedan such as all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and roll stabilization, the new BMW 5 Series Touring boasts of considerable boot capacity (up to between 570 liters and 1,700 liters) and higher load capacity (up to between 720 kg and 730 kg). It also features a 40:20:40 split/folding rear seat backrest and an electric remote backrest release, as well as an automatic tailgate operation. The new 5 Series Touring is touted to be around 100 kg lighter than its predecessor.
At launch, the touring body variant of the BMW 5 Series will be available in four versions -- BMW 530i Touring (252 hp 2.0 liter petrol engine), BMW 540i xDrive Touring (340 hp 3.0 liter petrol engine), BMW 520d Touring (190 hp 2.0 liter diesel engine) and BMW 530d Touring/ BMW 530d xDrive Touring (265 hp 3.0 liter diesel engine). Compared to the engines found in the previous generation, the powerplants in the new 5 Series Touring are around 11 percent more fuel efficient. BMW will commence selling new 5 Series Touring in June 2017.Read the entire article BMW to unveil new 5 Series Touring, i8 special edition and updated 4 Series at Geneva Motor Show
As expected, four years after the current generation of the BMW 4 Series was introduced in 2013 with the BMW 4 Series Coupe, the German premium carmaker is implementing a Life Cycle Impulse.
This is also known as a mid-cycle refresh. BMW gave the 3 Series an FCI in 2016, and this year it is the turn of the 4 Series.
What is good about this mid-cycle update is the fact that BMW is refreshing not only one model of the 4 Series, but all of them. BMW has revised the 4 Series Coupe, 4 Series Convertible, 4 Series Gran Coupe and the M4 for the 2017 model year.Read the entire article BMW 4 Series undergoes mid-cycle facelift for the 2017 model year
This year marks the 100th anniversary of BMW. To mark its centennial year, the German carmaker is releasing the BMW 7 Individual Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS, a 7 Series special edition. BMW is collaborating with luxury writing instruments manufacturer Montblanc in fulfilment of the BMW 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS. However, no pricing and availability details have been disclosed yet.
With its centenary offering, BMW highlights how much it values design and detail. Globally, only 100 models will be included in the BMW 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS, making it highly special. Buyers can choose among three different engine options depending on the market.
Currently, the only model available is the BMW 750Li powered by a 4.4-liter petrol V8 engine. The core has a power output of 450 hp, allowing the vehicle to accelerate up to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds.Read the entire article BMW Commemorates 100th Year with ‘The BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS’
