This M3 from Ontario gets groovy with visual tweaks by BMW Individual

The current generation of the BMW M3 sedan – codenamed F80 -- is entering its last hurrah with impending arrival of the next generation (with G20 designation). But that doesn’t mean that the current BMW M3 isn't enticing. In fact, it is as stunning as ever. Still, BMW isn't resting to ensure that M3 remains visually striking, as made possible through its BMW Individual program. This particular BMW M3 sedan in Canada is a prime example.

A quick look at the current M3 would quickly us that it isn't an ordinary vehicle. Nonetheless, BMW has found ways to make the M3 more extraordinary as well as to make it more linked to the taste and preferences of its owners. The BMW Individual program could step in and make life a lot easier for owners wanting to personalize their BMW rides – including the M3 -- and make them stand out from the rest.

Now, a BMW M3 sedan that considers the roads of Ontario, Canada as its home was able to take advantage of the BMW Individual program. As expected, the outcome was stunning. For instance, this M3 sedan is wrapped in cool color paint dubbed as Atlantis Blue Metallic. Its name reminds us of the lost island of Atlantis, a civilization thought to be concealed by the wide blue sea. Atlantis Blue Metallic is just one of the available colors in BMW Individual’s wide palette.

This Java Green BMW Individual M3 (F80) will surely catch your attention

Have you been thinking of getting a BMW M3 (F80) sedan, but are not satisfied with the standard colours you can get it in? Well, BMW Individual can give in to your every whim, and you can have whatever colour you wish for. Just like this M3 finished in a unique Java Green finish. It is nothing like what you would imagine on that car huh? But this shade is not just limited to that model; it can also be applied to models like the M4 Coupe, M6 Gran Coupe, the 7 series, and some others.

The company gets the name "Java Green" from unripe coffee beans, and the shade helps the compact sedan stand out more. Since a standard M3 looks a little plain, it had been given a number of eye-catching M Performance components from the front fascia to the rear end of the car. The M3 now comes with a prominent front splitter that makes it look more aggressive, and the black side skirts now get an "M Performance" lettering. The newest thing in the back would be the carbon fiber wing that is seamlessly attached to the trunk lid.

Moreover, this M3 has been given an updated exhaust system from the M Performance pack, giving it a louder roar. The 20-inch forged alloy wheels with a star spoke design is now paired with carbon ceramic brakes and gold calipers from the Competition Package. As for performance, the car can produce as much as 444 horsepower instead of just 425 horsepower from before.

This Enzian Blue M3 (F80) by BMW Individual is a very rare sports car

Earlier this year, BMW Individual revealed a one-off M3 Competition finished in Mint Green that no one quite expected. This model was put up for sale at LA’s Century West BMW. This unique BMW was not ordered by a customer, but instead was commissioned by a dealership employee named Chris Marino, who was hoping that he would find a buyer for it. Well, with a car that unique, it should not be such a struggle to look for one.

Speaking of BMW Individual, and one-off M3s, there is another variant that comes after the Mint Green car, and that is the Enzian Blue BMW Individual M3 that arrived just weeks after the first model. Unsurprisingly, the order was made by the same dealer. The Enzian Blue model also has a striking blue finish just like the Mint Green one, though I would say that the latter is still more unusual.

The M3 will definitely catch one’s attention, but that does not mean that it will be attractive to everyone’s eyes. What’s nice about this colour is that it is uncommon for a sports sedan and that will guarantee that the M3 will stand out from the crowd. Who wouldn’t want that? But here’s the thing, a standard M3 is not a cheap car, and this special edition Enzian Blue model that has been modified by BMW Individual has an asking price of $100,930. That is priced significantly more than the standard M3 that starts at $64,195. What makes it even more insane is the fact that it is more expensive than a brand new M5, which offers more premium features.

BMW Individual offers new color scheme for M3 sedan

The BMW Individual is offering a M3 Sedan with a new exterior color along with a two-tone cabin. The M3 Sedan can now come with fine-grain Merino leather and finished with a combination of Fjord Blue and Silverstone that contrasts with the Silverstone stitching.

It now has the “M” logo on the handbrake handle, center console, and bottom part of the instrument panel with the same bi-color theme. The back part of each of the front further has a Fjord Blue center strip that is finished in leather.

Capping off this new offering is the Fashion grey paint that can only be availed from the BMW Individual catalog. The new offering is mainly aesthetic in nature and the hardware for the M3 Sedan has not changed. The M3 Sedan, like the M4 Coupe, has the M TwinPower Turbo inline-6 engine capable of producing 425 horsepower and attaining a maximum 406 lb-ft of torque.

BMW’s 2012 M3 coupe and convertible models, which will begin production in September, will receive modifications that are similar to those taken for the BMW Z4. The 2012 M3 coupe is priced from $59,900 while its convertible version will have a starting price of $68,550.

The 2012 models will get the following as standard equipment: anti-theft alarm, Floor Mats, new 7H8 including iPod/USB Adaptor, Bluetooth, and BMW Assist.

The stand-alone options for 2012 M3 coupe and convertible were also adjusted to take into account the new standard equipment and new Navigation Package (7KB), which is priced at $1350 to amend for standard BMW Assist, Bluetooth, and iPod/USB Adaptor. The packages were also tweaked.

BMW has just unveiled the seventh generation of the BMW 3 Series, with the codename of G20, at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. Its high-performance version – the BMW M3 -- with codename of G80 – won't follow immediately, and is expected to be launched for the 2020 model year at the earliest.

The German premium carmaker may start teasing and then launch the next-gen BMW M3 as early as next year. This means that its fans and enthusiasts would have wait for at least a year before getting a good a look at the next-gen high-performance version of the BMW 3 series.

For those who can’t wait that long, the BMW M3 G80 can be previewed unofficially through a work by Aksyonov Nikita, an automotive graphic designer based in St. Petersburg, Russia. Nikita has rendered various versions of future and present vehicles, including those created by Aston Martin, BMW, Fiat, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Peugeot, as well as a lot more.

We first saw the 30 Years American Edition of the BMW M3 (F80) at SEMA last year. This model was created to celebrate three decades of the sports sedan in the United States. And if you were tuned in at that time, you would know that only one car was ever made and it was dressed in a snazzy Frozen Red II Metallic hue that is combined with19 inch front and 20 inch golden M Performance alloy wheels.

And believe it or not, when it first made its debut at Las Vegas, the said model came with a price tag of $128,635. That is double the price of a standard M3 that costs an average $66,500.

Today, the said model has a value of $130,110, and this one off M3 with all the extra cool bits has been put up for sale by a dealer in Los Angeles. This model comes equipped with the optional Competition Package, together with a six speed manual gearbox.

BMW has been steadfastly working on developing the all new version of the 3 Series and M3. That’s why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the existing model’s production will end when the new version comes along. But then, it seems like production will end sooner than we expected. In fact, there have already been reports of the discontinuation of the current F80 M3 taking place in a few months.

It was actually BMWBlog that announced this, as they said that the F80 M3’s production will be capped off as early as May 2018. One of the reasons for this is because of the introduction of the new WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) driving cycle. This new procedure will act as the new standard when determining levels of pollutants, C02 emissions, fuel or energy consumption for cars worldwide.

Once this becomes effective, BMW will have to fit the M3 F80 with a complex new Otto particle filter beginning in June. But instead of doing this, they have decided to just completely stop production in May, also so that they may focus on developing the 3 Series and the M3 - both models are slated to begin production within the next couple of years. Production will only be halted for the M3 though, as the M4 will remain unaffected by this change. Therefore, production of the M4 will continue for a few more months after May.

The newly introduced Mercedes AMG C63 S and the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio both deliver an immense output of 500 horsepower. But now that BMW is ready to introduce the next generation M3 and M4, they made it clear that despite the increase in power, both cars will not compete against the output of their rivals.

BMW Blog recently wrote that both the M3 and the M4 will continue to use the same 3.0 liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine, but this time, it will be called the S58. As mentioned earlier, output will be improved from originally 425 horsepower in base specification, to around 470 to 475 horsepower. We can expect to see the S58 engine in the X3 M and the X4 M ahead of the up and coming M3 and M4.

Some of you may be confused because previous rumours stated that the next generation models would come with a 48-volt electrical system and a small electric motor paired with both the engine and transmission.

Those of you who have been to the Middle East are probably used to seeing flashy cars. And when I say flashy cars, I don’t just mean expensive models, but I’m specifically talking about the colours painted on them and the interesting interiors they have. A handful of these cars are from BMW and their dealership in Abu Dhabi.

The newest one that made headlines would be the BMW 750Li. Though it is not a flagship model of the new 7 Series, it still offers an impressive performance. In as quick as 4.5 seconds, it is capable of hitting 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour). That comes from its V8 engine that carries out 445 horsepower and 650 Newton metres (479 pound feet) of torque. It also has a top speed of 155 miles per hour. The performance of this car is perfect for countries like the United States and Germany where speed is a big factor for choosing a car.

In this case, we are not only impressed by the 750Li’s performance, but also with its unique paint job, as it is finished in a cool Atlantis Blue that was customised by none other than BMW Individual. This is not actually the first time that we have seen this colour, as it had been applied to other BMWs in the past - like a couple of M3s and M4s. What makes it unique on a 750Li is the fact that customers usually stick to default colours like black, grey, or white in the 7 Series, and it is quite rare to see one in a bright blue shade.

The Middle East is home to a number of one-off vehicles, as well as specially modified luxury cars. Almost every month, we hear about new cars being unveiled or brought into the country, and a lot of them are BMWs.

Now, one of the latest models that BMW Abu Dhabi Motors has on display is the mind blowing range-topping 7 Series that’s currently on sale. The last model we saw before this was the impressive M760Li xDrive finished in Imola Red, which we saw a few weeks ago. Now, BMW’s Long Beach Blue M760Li xDrive is just as striking as the last model we saw.

This is definitely not the first time we have seen this hue on a car. In fact, it has been used on different models like the M2 pocket rocket. You might also agree if I say that this colour looks a bit too wild on the large sedan. Thanks to the black carbon fiber accents all throughout the car, from the mirror caps to the 21-inch multi-spoke 629 design wheels, the whole package now looks so much better. But that’s not all that this car has to boast about. The car also has a 3D Design Body kit that adds some nice details here and there. Lastly, it has got a trunk lid spoiler from the M Performance.

Customers who think the BMW 4 Series Coupe is rather ordinary are in for a treat especially with what BMW Individual and Alpina have in store. The best example is presently being displayed at BMW Abu Dhabi Motors, a dealer that looks to be getting the best toys to play around with.

Even with one look, the use of Rallye Green paint on the Alpina B4 S makes the body even more aggressive. Combined with the upgrades implemented by those at Buchloe, it is clear that this is not your standard 4 Series Coupe.

On the inside for example, BMW Individual made sure that the interior of the B4 S would be different from the usual 4 Series Coupe. The instrument cluster has blue dials with the steering wheel showing green stitching. This color theme is in fact the same as that on the exterior. While the usual 4 Series Coupe has a left air vent on its center console, the B4 S instead has an extra display. On the lower region of the console is a special plaque that proves this is not the usual car.

More details have emerged about the new sixth generation of the BMW M3 just as the German premium practically announced the end of the current-gen 3 Series with the unveiling of the track-focused BMW M3 CS.

As reported by the Car Magazine, the next generation of the BMW M3 has a codename of G80. The next BMW M3 is bound to be introduced in 2021, around three years after BMW launches the new generation of the 3-Series saloon (codenamed G20) in 2018. The 3-Series saloon will be followed by the 3-Series Touring (G21) in 2019 and by the 4-Series coupe and convertible (G22/23) in 2020.

The next generation of the M3 is expected to don the tweaks implemented on the 3-Series. These tweaks are seen to include a wider track, a lower center of gravity and a longer wheelbase, as well as a more stable aerodynamic balance and more user-friendly ergonomics. Its design is expected to be expressive, with a number of unique elements to distinguish the G80 M3 from the current generation F80.

BMW has given birth to another high-performance model that essentially brings the dynamism, expressiveness, practicality and on-the-road superiority into a whole new level – the new BMW M3 (F80) CS.

With the four-door BMW M4 CS initially posting resounding success, it was inevitable that BMW would create a second model having the same designation. Just like the M4 CS, the new four-door M3 CS is lighter and faster than the model (M3) from which it was derived.

As the first-ever BMW M3 CS special-edition model, there is a need to make sure that its appearance promptly conveys its performance capabilities. Its three-dimensionally contoured front end is defined by a slender kidney grille flanked by the twin headlight units featuring state-of-the-art LED technology. The three-part front apron of the new M3 CS underscores its dynamic nature while providing the needed efficient cooling for both the powerful twin-turbo six-cylinder engine and the powerful braking system.

Bimmerpost has posted several cool pictures of the new BMW G30 540i and the new G31 generation BMW 5-Series Touring, with both wearing the brilliant Rhodonite Silver Individual colour.

The photos are courtesy of a guy from Sweden who claims to have ordered a 540i x G30 and is expecting its arrival next summer. Notably, the pictures were taken without sunlight so there may be some variation. Nevertheless, this customer is excited to share these photos with fellow BMW enthusiasts to see what they have to say about this uncommon colour.

The usual silver that we’re accustomed to seeing on cars doesn’t display any hints of chrome or lilac unlike the Rhodonite Silver Metallic on the 5-series models. Interestingly, BMW Individual Program has other interesting exterior color options including Azurite Black that drops a tinge of blue into it and Champagne Quartz with traces of metallic purple, gold and beige all rolled into one. Of course, there’s the Almandine Brown Metallic that looks so dark you’d think it’s another shade of black. But since both the xDrive Touring G31 540d and the G30 530e plugin hybrid are donning BMW M Sport packages, the Individual colour must have been particularly chosen as an upgrade which we estimate will cost you about £1,740.

The BMW 7 Series is already highly sought after but nonetheless, the German marque is giving it a more exclusive variant for the Russian market, and they are calling it the 7 Series Individual Edition Black Ice. It’s only available on orders. The special edition features a ton of unique features inside and out, making it truly stand out from the rest.

The Black Ice name was derived from the model’s Frosty Black metallic finish. And it is not just your typical black paint. It has got a unique painting technology that gives it transformative properties. This is because the base metallic paint is coated with a special matte varnish. So under the right lighting, its 7 Series’ silhouette is amplified with its unique shine.

Apart from the distinct paint job, the BMW 7 Series was built with an aerodynamic M Sport package. This package has a double grille design, gloss black door handles, and a gloss black boot lid. To complete the exterior design, the Black Ice 7 Series now sits on a set of 20-inch BMW Individual V-spoke 649s with different sized tires, and of course, a body kit by M Sport. Other features that are already included on the standard edition are laser headlamps, parking assist with a remote control module, a 360-degree vision system, and an Executive Drive Pro package with roadway scanning.

The current BMW 7 Series made its debut two years ago at the BMW headquarters in Munich, before it made its way to the International Auto Show in Germany weeks after. It was the first 7 Series that was introduced as a plug-in hybrid variant.

However, this one-off M760Li was customized by BMW Individual customization program. It wears an Austin Yellow paint job that looks good on the sedan, while riding on a set of 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. This is the only 7 Series that has been painted in this unique shade. This colour is typically reserved for an M4 or an M3, and you can find this unit showcased in BMW Abu Dhabi.

The 7 Series’ interior is then finished in creme-coloured leather, which stretches from the seats, to the dash, and to the center console. To bring some flair to it, BMW Individual also added wood paneling and black leather on the steering wheel and on the dash. When looking at it, the model’s exterior paint and interior colours seem to be lacking some contrast. We think that a black interior would make a better contrast with the yellow paint.

Every now and then, BMW Abu Dhabi gets quite a cool selection of customized cars, many of them tuned by BMW Individual. These are not just the nicest toys, but are also the most eye-catching ones as well, often in striking hues. The latest one that’s on display in one of their dealerships would be the M760Li (or M760i in the United States), and it has been finished in a Rallye Green paint that is part of the Individual catalog.

Apart from the stunning green paint, the BMW M760Li now has a front spoiler and an Alpina rear trunk lid spoiler has been added to complement that look. Smaller details such as satin chrome accents around the beefy front and side vents and mirror caps complete the exterior changes.

Changes do not stop on just the exterior, as the BMW’s cabin now features a fine-grain Merino leather upholstery in Opal white, contrasted by black stitching. Furthermore, it has been given extra accents in gloss black, as well as an upgraded entertainment system with dual screens in the rear. Since this model is a M760Li version, expect to see several “M” pieces inside and out to further boost the car’s appeal.

This BMW M760Li might be the car you are looking for if you are into yachts and sailing. As you know, the BMW 7-Series is the company’s range topping model, but now, it has partnered with Nautor’s Swan (which is known for their luxury sailing yachts). This special edition 760Li that comes with unique features was developed to honor 25 years of BMW Individual’s history.

To make the already luxurious model even more upscale, the company had to give it more upgrades. This includes unique brake calipers that have been finished in the same colour as the car, while wearing the exclusive Nautor’s Swan logo that only the exclusive model gets. The car also has the same logo affixed on the rear end. These are just some elements that you get on the outside, and most of the new luxury add-ons can be found in the cabin.

Details that will remind you of a yacht include teak wood paneling with joints filled precisely with a layer of rubber. This rubber helps the wood expand and contract when the climate changes, just like what you would find in a luxury sailing yacht. The trunk floor also gets carbon bonded wood components, matched with an Alcantara Smoke White finish.

The current generation of the BMW M3 (F80) sedan isn’t just sporty and luxurious in terms of looks, but also in terms of performance. Because of its athletic appeal, the BMW M3 sedan has been one of the favorite subjects of vehicle modifications and tuning. Just recently, a BMW M3 was tweaked to feature a contrasting exterior and interior as well as a number of performance parts.

With a one-tone exterior finished in Atlantis Blue, this BMW M3 looks simple, elegant yet athletic. The single tone exterior of this particular BMW M3 helps highlight the M-Performance parts fitted on its body. This example of the M3 is fitted with an M Performance body kit and an M Performance exhaust. Its front end features a muscular bonnet derived from the BMW M4 GTS as well as front spoiler in carbon fiber. The rear end, on the other hand, this tweaked BMW M3 is fitted with carbon fiber rear diffuser and exhaust tips. Its large rear wing is also of carbon fiber. It also seems that the roof of this M3 is also carbon fiber.

All of these changes further made the exterior of the M3 more prominent, as already defined by its sporty lines and high-gloss black double-bar kidney grille featuring the M3 badge. Its set of large air inlets is well-complemented by all-LED headlights with dynamic design.
