We first saw the 30 Years American Edition of the BMW M3 (F80) at SEMA last year. This model was created to celebrate three decades of the sports sedan in the United States. And if you were tuned in at that time, you would know that only one car was ever made and it was dressed in a snazzy Frozen Red II Metallic hue that is combined with19 inch front and 20 inch golden M Performance alloy wheels.
And believe it or not, when it first made its debut at Las Vegas, the said model came with a price tag of $128,635. That is double the price of a standard M3 that costs an average $66,500.
Today, the said model has a value of $130,110, and this one off M3 with all the extra cool bits has been put up for sale by a dealer in Los Angeles. This model comes equipped with the optional Competition Package, together with a six speed manual gearbox.Read the entire article 2018 BMW M3 30 years American Edition is up for grabs for $130,110 in Los Angeles
BMW has given birth to another high-performance model that essentially brings the dynamism, expressiveness, practicality and on-the-road superiority into a whole new level – the new BMW M3 (F80) CS.
With the four-door BMW M4 CS initially posting resounding success, it was inevitable that BMW would create a second model having the same designation. Just like the M4 CS, the new four-door M3 CS is lighter and faster than the model (M3) from which it was derived.
As the first-ever BMW M3 CS special-edition model, there is a need to make sure that its appearance promptly conveys its performance capabilities. Its three-dimensionally contoured front end is defined by a slender kidney grille flanked by the twin headlight units featuring state-of-the-art LED technology. The three-part front apron of the new M3 CS underscores its dynamic nature while providing the needed efficient cooling for both the powerful twin-turbo six-cylinder engine and the powerful braking system.Read the entire article First-ever BMW M3 CS is lighter and more powerful than regular model
The current generation of the BMW M3 sedan – codenamed F80 -- is entering its last hurrah with impending arrival of the next generation (with G20 designation). But that doesn’t mean that the current BMW M3 isn't enticing. In fact, it is as stunning as ever. Still, BMW isn't resting to ensure that M3 remains visually striking, as made possible through its BMW Individual program. This particular BMW M3 sedan in Canada is a prime example.
A quick look at the current M3 would quickly us that it isn't an ordinary vehicle. Nonetheless, BMW has found ways to make the M3 more extraordinary as well as to make it more linked to the taste and preferences of its owners. The BMW Individual program could step in and make life a lot easier for owners wanting to personalize their BMW rides – including the M3 -- and make them stand out from the rest.
Now, a BMW M3 sedan that considers the roads of Ontario, Canada as its home was able to take advantage of the BMW Individual program. As expected, the outcome was stunning. For instance, this M3 sedan is wrapped in cool color paint dubbed as Atlantis Blue Metallic. Its name reminds us of the lost island of Atlantis, a civilization thought to be concealed by the wide blue sea. Atlantis Blue Metallic is just one of the available colors in BMW Individual’s wide palette.Read the entire article This M3 from Ontario gets groovy with visual tweaks by BMW Individual
Have you been thinking of getting a BMW M3 (F80) sedan, but are not satisfied with the standard colours you can get it in? Well, BMW Individual can give in to your every whim, and you can have whatever colour you wish for. Just like this M3 finished in a unique Java Green finish. It is nothing like what you would imagine on that car huh? But this shade is not just limited to that model; it can also be applied to models like the M4 Coupe, M6 Gran Coupe, the 7 series, and some others.
The company gets the name "Java Green" from unripe coffee beans, and the shade helps the compact sedan stand out more. Since a standard M3 looks a little plain, it had been given a number of eye-catching M Performance components from the front fascia to the rear end of the car. The M3 now comes with a prominent front splitter that makes it look more aggressive, and the black side skirts now get an "M Performance" lettering. The newest thing in the back would be the carbon fiber wing that is seamlessly attached to the trunk lid.
Moreover, this M3 has been given an updated exhaust system from the M Performance pack, giving it a louder roar. The 20-inch forged alloy wheels with a star spoke design is now paired with carbon ceramic brakes and gold calipers from the Competition Package. As for performance, the car can produce as much as 444 horsepower instead of just 425 horsepower from before.Read the entire article This Java Green BMW Individual M3 (F80) will surely catch your attention
Earlier this year, BMW Individual revealed a one-off M3 Competition finished in Mint Green that no one quite expected. This model was put up for sale at LA’s Century West BMW. This unique BMW was not ordered by a customer, but instead was commissioned by a dealership employee named Chris Marino, who was hoping that he would find a buyer for it. Well, with a car that unique, it should not be such a struggle to look for one.
Speaking of BMW Individual, and one-off M3s, there is another variant that comes after the Mint Green car, and that is the Enzian Blue BMW Individual M3 that arrived just weeks after the first model. Unsurprisingly, the order was made by the same dealer. The Enzian Blue model also has a striking blue finish just like the Mint Green one, though I would say that the latter is still more unusual.
The M3 will definitely catch one’s attention, but that does not mean that it will be attractive to everyone’s eyes. What’s nice about this colour is that it is uncommon for a sports sedan and that will guarantee that the M3 will stand out from the crowd. Who wouldn’t want that? But here’s the thing, a standard M3 is not a cheap car, and this special edition Enzian Blue model that has been modified by BMW Individual has an asking price of $100,930. That is priced significantly more than the standard M3 that starts at $64,195. What makes it even more insane is the fact that it is more expensive than a brand new M5, which offers more premium features.Read the entire article This Enzian Blue M3 (F80) by BMW Individual is a very rare sports car
The current generation of the BMW M3 (F80) sedan isn’t just sporty and luxurious in terms of looks, but also in terms of performance. Because of its athletic appeal, the BMW M3 sedan has been one of the favorite subjects of vehicle modifications and tuning. Just recently, a BMW M3 was tweaked to feature a contrasting exterior and interior as well as a number of performance parts.
With a one-tone exterior finished in Atlantis Blue, this BMW M3 looks simple, elegant yet athletic. The single tone exterior of this particular BMW M3 helps highlight the M-Performance parts fitted on its body. This example of the M3 is fitted with an M Performance body kit and an M Performance exhaust. Its front end features a muscular bonnet derived from the BMW M4 GTS as well as front spoiler in carbon fiber. The rear end, on the other hand, this tweaked BMW M3 is fitted with carbon fiber rear diffuser and exhaust tips. Its large rear wing is also of carbon fiber. It also seems that the roof of this M3 is also carbon fiber.
All of these changes further made the exterior of the M3 more prominent, as already defined by its sporty lines and high-gloss black double-bar kidney grille featuring the M3 badge. Its set of large air inlets is well-complemented by all-LED headlights with dynamic design.Read the entire article 2017 BMW M3 (F80) looks good with Atlantis Blue exterior and black-and-brown interior
Would you believe that this BMW M3 (F80) is one of the most expensive BMW models you can get? This is because it comes with a lot of new features and is quite far from being standard. To be more specific, this Speed Yellow M3 is the closest you could get to a M3 GTS. It has carbon fiber details from the hood and the prominent front spoiler that the M4 GTS has.
This BMW M3 gets a Speed Yellow paint job, with a black roof to give it some contrast. This particular model also gets an upgraded exhaust system and titanium tips in the beefy carbon fiber diffuser, that has been acquired from the M Performance. It has been given enhanced aerodynamics like the optional carbon fiber fixed wing to add some downforce at the rear axle, keeping the car low. To finish off the extra bits are the M4 GTS wheels, Carbon Ceramic brakes, carbon fiber side mirror caps, and of course, the “M Performance” badge on the side sills.
Moving into the cabin, the interior complements the exterior with the black leather seats accented with yellow stitching and yellow trim for a sportier look all over. There are also a lot of glossy carbon fiber parts like the dashboard and the center console. Before I forget to mention, it also gets a sports steering wheel and sports seats.Read the entire article BMW M3 Speed Yellow with M Performance parts seen in Abu Dhabi
If you are a huge fan of the hardcore GTS version, you probably know that the closest you could get to that model is the upgraded model of the M4 -- the BMW M4 CS that has a 460 horsepower (343-kilowatt) engine capable of going from 0-62 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds. But guess what? It seems like the four-door M3 will be getting the same treatment sometime soon.
Well, the German company has been making use of their “CS” trademark filings. BMW has filed “CS” names with trademarks that range from “M1 CS” to “M8 CS” - that is a lot if you think about it. This is probably their strategy to keep up with the growing lineup of Mercedes-AMG vehicles.
In fact, it was stated by Bimmer Today, a German publication, that the new M3 (F80) CS will be the most powerful M3 of all time, and it is scheduled to come out next year. It will be getting 460 horsepower (343 kilowatts) from the same 3.0-liter biturbo six-cylinder engine, as that of the M4 CS. According to some rumours, the engine will be paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.Read the entire article BMW M3 (F80) CS with 460 hp will arrive in 2018
Did it ever cross your mind that a BMW M3 (F80) would look extra sexy with carbon fiber details here and there? Well, you’re not the only one who thinks that, and this particular San Marino Blue example will make you drool.
The M3, currently located at BMW’s Abu Dhabi dealership, is wearing an M Performance body kit, including a carbon fiber boot lid spoiler, mirror covers, and a front spoiler, with carbon fiber details on the gear selector, center console and a handbrake lever, and of course, the M Performance steering wheel.
The four-door sedan definitely has the DNA of a high performance sports car with sporty lines. It comes standard with the high-gloss black double-bar kidney grille with the M3 badge, and a set of large air inlets complemented by all-LED headlights with dynamic design. This design guarantees a confident presence during the day, while it perfectly illuminates the road at night.Read the entire article 2017 BMW M3 (F80) in Abu Dhabi wears a San Marino Blue exterior
If you are longing to get the carbon-fiber limited edition of the BMW M3 sedan – the BMW M3 CRT (E90) –chances that you would be able to get your hand on one would be very slim. This is primarily because less than 100 examples (67 units to be exact) were only built, and all of them were sold out even before the German premium carmaker released the BMW M3 CRT to the market.
Now, one of those 67 rare examples of the BMW M3 CRT E90 (Carbon Racing Technology) is being sold, and it is fairly new. Built for the 2013 model year, the odometer of this BMW M3 CRT E90 has recorded only 382 km (237 miles), which means that it hasn’t been driven that much for around four years. Moreover, this example of the M3 CRT E90 hasn’t been registered, making it the only M3 CRT that is unregistered.
Being sold at duPont Registry, this M3 CRT E90 is one of the only two examples in the United States. Although it wasn’t sold in North America, car has been federalized for Show & Display use, which means it could be driven legally in 49 states for up to 2,500 miles a year. To be driven in California, this car needs to be certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).Read the entire article Rare and practically new BMW M3 CRT E90 is being sold for nearly $300,000
While most BMWs come with a long list of finishing touches for customers to choose from, this BMW M3 owner wants more than the standard and optional add-ons that are available. After all, an eye-popping BMW M3 in Satin Lime Green Chrome will grab more attention if it comes with a bronze colored wheel set. Sounds fair enough.
When customers take the road-less-travelled, it’s always the best time for after-market tuning specialists to take over. And so this is how it all started.
To put it more into details, this BMW M3’s very visible exterior which comes in Satin Lime Green Chrome paintwork was further enhanced with Velos Designwerks wheels. The secret is in the bronze beauty which is made of S15 monoblock forged concave measuring 20x10 (at the front) and 20x12 (at the rear).Read the entire article BMW M3 is simply stunning with Satin Lime Green Chrome finish and bronze Velos Designwerks wheels
Something is brewing in the Middle East. BMW Abu Dhabi welcomes the brand new year with a bang by flaunting its own version of BMW M3. Known for its brightly colored BMW i8 models, BMW Abu Dhabi stays ahead of the game for giving its customers what they want. Just a few months ago, they created the most interesting plug-in hybrid sports cars decked in Lava Yellow, Lava Orange, Twilight Purple, Lava Green, Austin Yellow and Lava Red paint colors.
Though pricing details are still unknown, we bet the new M3 would also cost a fortune. Dressed in Ferrari Red and Competition Package, we can’t deny that it looks hot for the season ---- and it’s probably the priciest and fully loaded M3 performance sedan you could find right at this very minute.
What the dealer from the UAE had on its showroom is definitely a far cry from the M3s we’ve seen last year. Other than the red body paint, the most notable of all the upgrades is the 450hp, 3.0 litre twin turbo engine under the hood. Sure, it didn’t come all the way from Maranello Italy, but it has Ferrari’s spirit of performance at the very least. Paired with 7-speed dual clutch transmission, it can run from 0-62mph in about 4 seconds with a top speed of 163mph.Read the entire article BMW M3 stuns UAE with Competition Package and gorgeous Ferrari Red paint
The F80 generation of the BMW M3 will be getting its second Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) for the 2018 model year. To explain it further, Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) is BMW’s term for a mid-cycle refresh or simply a facelift. This means that we would be seeing the BMW M3 with some updates on its look when it is released for the 2018 model year.
It is fairly easy to tell which part of the 2018 BMW M3 has been updated. After all, it is the lone most obvious visual tweak implemented on the face-lifted 2018 BMW M3 LCI II. At a glance, the headlights of the 2018 BMW M3 seem familiar – this is because these lamp units are the ones found on the visually updated 2017 BMW M4 LCI. This means that the new BMW M3 now features newly designed adaptive full-LED headlights, which could cast their beam in the direction of the curve to ensure better visibility at night. The new headlight graphics and design makes use of extra LED bars that help highlight the connection between the BMW M3’s kidney grille and its light units. Apart from newly designed headlights, there are no other major visual tweaks implemented. Everything remains the same aside from the new headlights.
There are some visual tweaks implemented inside the 2018 BMW M3 LCI II. Now, the illuminated M3 logos on the seats of the driver and the front passenger now feature a fresher design. Just like on the exterior, other sections inside the cabin remain as they are. In addition, the 2018 BMW M3 LCI II won’t feature any performance updates. This means that BMW didn’t do anything for the engine and other complementary components.Read the entire article BMW M3 gets second yet very subtle facelift for the 2018 model year
BMW earlier gave us a glimpse of its highly futuristic Vision Next 100 Concept in time for its centennial year celebration. With M3’s 30th anniversary, BMW once again has another reason to celebrate 2016.
Singapore is probably one of the places where cars can be really expensive. But that doesn’t stop BMW from launching the limited edition M3. Although we already saw Europe’s “30 Jahre M3”, BMW has also prepared a Singapore-exclusive “BMW M3 Heritage Collection”.
The 405 lb-ft of torque BMW M3 has a top speed of 155 miles per hour and sprints from 0-62 mph in less than 4 seconds. Named as “BMW M3 Heritage Collection Singapore Edition I”, the limited-only M3 will be packed with a host of other upgrades on top of the features found on a standard BMW M3 model.Read the entire article BMW Heritage Collection M3 bound for Singapore arrives with Competition Package
Starting spring this year, the BMW M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible will be available with a special Competition Package from BMW M GmbH that does not only make them more powerful but also more responsive to handle.
In fact, all three bodies with the Competition Package will have their power outputs increased to 444 hp for a more dynamic performance. With this amount of power, the BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe -- with optional 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission (M-DCT) – could accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
Sans the Competition Package, their 0-60 mph time is 3.9 seconds. On the other hand, the BMW M4 Convertible could sprint from nil to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. Sans the Competition Package, the BMW M4 Convertible could achieve 60 mph from standstill in 4.2 seconds. BMW M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible -- with the standard 6-speed manual transmission -- also achieves a 0-60 mph time that is 0.1 seconds faster than without the Competition Package.Read the entire article Competition Package to be available on BMW M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible
BMW M GmbH will be unveiling a BMW M3 (F80) in “Münchner Wirte” livery to celebrate its connection with the city of Munich as well as with motor sports. The unveiling event will coincide with the ongoing Oktoberfest celebration in the city.
The one-off vehicle’s livery design can be traced back to the iconic BMW M1 Procar from 1981, featuring a Bavarian-style façade painting, blue-and-white twisted cords, a roast chestnut seller and the Wiesn-Schänke beer tent at the Oktoberfest.
The livery design also features depictions of various city landmarks like the Olympic Stadium, Frauenkirche church and Siegestor, as well as BMW’s headquarters. Reviving this distinct livery design on the BMW M3 is no other than Walter Maurer, who is the same designer who created such artwork for the BMW M1 Procar “Münchner Wirte” 34 years ago.Read the entire article BMW M3 in Munchner Wirte livery will be unveiled during Oktoberfest in Munich
The BMW Individual is offering a M3 Sedan with a new exterior color along with a two-tone cabin. The M3 Sedan can now come with fine-grain Merino leather and finished with a combination of Fjord Blue and Silverstone that contrasts with the Silverstone stitching.
It now has the “M” logo on the handbrake handle, center console, and bottom part of the instrument panel with the same bi-color theme. The back part of each of the front further has a Fjord Blue center strip that is finished in leather.
Capping off this new offering is the Fashion grey paint that can only be availed from the BMW Individual catalog. The new offering is mainly aesthetic in nature and the hardware for the M3 Sedan has not changed. The M3 Sedan, like the M4 Coupe, has the M TwinPower Turbo inline-6 engine capable of producing 425 horsepower and attaining a maximum 406 lb-ft of torque.Read the entire article BMW Individual offers new color scheme for M3 sedan
Exotics Tuning has released its own kit for BMW’s F80 M3. Ever since the F80 M3 was launched, a number of companies like AC Schnitzer or Hamann have released their own kits. This new kit however is very much welcome as it brings a new take within a field that has become dominated by old companies.
Exotics Tuning is owned by Ken Chan who also runs the company. Though new to the market, the release is seen as a novelty in a market where originality has started to become the exception. The company has two products for the F80 M3 in the form of the Street Series and Track Pack.
The Street series offers a front spoiler, side skirts, quad exhaust tips, rear diffuser, and rear boot spoiler. All are made of high quality carbon fiber ensuring that the F80 M3 does not just look amazing but aerodynamically better as it can increase the downforce when the car runs at higher speed.Read the entire article Exotics Tuning releases kit for BMW M3 Sedan (F80)
Japanese company 3D Design has never been about extreme tuning or even outrageous body kits. This is evident in their newly released 3D Design kit for the F80 M3. The kit has parts that are composed of carbon fiber giving the car just a bit of that style and class it needs.
The kit allows an air splitter to be fastened to the front bumper to make the car more aerodynamic. It also has side skirts and a boot lid spoiler that while subtle, adds to the car’s good looks. While the kit makes it a gentleman’s car, it can go wild when needed.
This is because under the hood is a S55 3-liter inline and 6-cyclinder biturbo engine that can deliver 431 horsepower and reach a torque of 406 lb-ft. With a 7-speed DCT gearbox, the F80 M3 is able to go from 0 to 100 kph in 4.1 seconds.Read the entire article 3D Design announces new BMW M3 Sedan (F80)
Ever since it was bought by Platte Forme, the Mineral White BMW F80 M3 has been rarely seen these days. The company however wanted to have a track build while ensuring that the interior can still be used.
Platte teamed up with Maxxis to create a street car that had a number of installed bolt-on parts. This was done at Platte’s California facility. Since the S55 3-liter inline 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine of the F80 M3 only allows for a maximum of 431 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, the team decided to start with improving performance.
Thus they installed a Burger Motorsport JB4 piggyback, enabling the engine to know go as high as 450 horsepower. This however resulted in extra fumes so AR Design catless down pipes were added to address this issue. As the famous saying goes, “with great power comes great responsibility,” so Platte knew that it had to tune both the brakes and suspension.Read the entire article Platte Forme teams up with Maxxis for BMW F80 M3
