When Bugatti took the veil off the Chiron in 2016, it was well expected that the French carmaker would create versions of the sports car. Then, the carmaker unveiled the track-focused Bugatti Chiron Sport at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018. But it seems Bugatti isn't finished yet, as it is reported to be planning to reveal an extreme version of the Chiron at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
According to our sources, Bugatti has plans to build an extreme version of the Chiron that even surpasses the Divo. It seems that a number of VIP customers were given the privilege of getting a good glimpse of the new upcoming version of the Chiron through sketches shown at the unveiling of the Bugatti Divo at Château Saint-Jean. As report, Bugatti described this new extreme version as “a beauty of speed” as well as a “ground-to-ground Missile”.
Chiron’s predecessor, the Bugatti Veyron was gifted with an extreme version that held the record for being the fastest street-legal car for more than seven years – the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. This version features an engine that can deliver 1,200 PS (1,184 hp or 883 kW) of max output and 1,106 lb.-ft. (1,500 Nm) of peak torque. It managed to achieve a top speed of 267.856 mph (431.072 km/h) to set a new record, only to be broken seven years later.Read the entire article Extreme version of Bugatti Chiron might be unveiled at 2019 Geneva Motor Show, says report
The Bugatti Chiron is probably one of the sportiest cars in the planet, thanks to its overwhelming power output of 1,500 hp and its hypercar design. If there is one car who could claim to be sportier than the Chiron, it is another creation from the French manufacturer – the new Bugatti Chiron Sport.
Bugatti’s formula for creating a sportier version of the Chiron doesn’t entail any increase or boost in power output or torque. The French high-performance carmaker didn’t need to tinker with the quad-turbo, 8.0-liter W16 engine to come up with the Chiron Sport. This means that power ratings for the Chiron Sport remain at 1,500 hp of max output and 1,180 lb.-ft. (1,600 Nm) of peak torque as transmitted to all wheels. Likewise, this means that Chiron Sport could complete a sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, and achieve a top speed of up to 260 mph (420 km/h) – the same as the Chiron.
Aside from retaining the superb power and performance of the Chiron, the new Chiron Sport also features the same ease and convenience of driving. Instead of focusing on these elements, Bugatti decided to dramatically improve the handling of the new Chiron Sport and enhance its lateral dynamics on winding roads. To achieve this goal, the new Chiron Sport is fitted with a dynamic handling package and has been made lighter than the original model.Read the entire article Bugatti unveils fully dressed Chiron Sport at 2018 Geneva Motor Show
This 2017, the committee noticed Bugatti’s “efficient design”, “details” and “quality of workmanship” to be very convincing ---despite having only one vehicle for the entire duration of the two-week event. It also indicates how the rather small-sized show area proved to be so much more impressive for the jurors than those which had a bigger floor area for their exhibit.
For the past fourteen years, the Club de publicité et de communication de Genève has been giving out the same award in Switzerland’s yearly car event. The jurors consist of communications and publicity specialists who are members of the CPG committee.
Bugatti’s show stand stood out at the exhibit hall for its unique design. In this case, the stand consists of a curved roof that looks highly “convincing”. The judges had noticed it primarily for its arrangement-- wherein the curves were positioned exactly where the beaming light shines towards the show model. Aside from the curved structure, Bugatti’s creativity in turning a small area into one spectacular edifice not just won the judges’ approval but also appealed to the hearts of the many audiences who attended the 87th Geneva Motor Show.Read the entire article Bugatti’s one-car stand receives top award at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show

Bugatti is intending to produce just 500 examples of the Chiron at its global base in Molsheim and the French luxury brand has already received orders for around a third of that. Available at a base price tag of EUR2.4 million net, the new Bugatti Chiron will be delivered to their new owners starting this autumn.Read the entire article Much-awaited Bugatti Chiron stuns 2016 Geneva Motor Show attendees
Watch out for the global debut of the replacement of the Bugatti Veyron - the Chiron - at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016. The Veyron replacement was named after Louis Chiron, a Bugatti works driver in the 1920s and 1930s.
Bugatti considers Chiron as the best racing driver in the world during his time, noting that his name is more associated with Bugatti’s history than any other racer. The French manufacturer promised that when Chiron makes its debut in Geneva, it will be the most powerful and fastest, as well as the most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car in the world ever.
To date, the super sports car maker is finalizing the marketing work for the Chiron, and has already received over 100 pre-orders. Yesterday, we’ve told you that the fourth ‘Les Legendes de Bugatti’ edition (after the Jean-Pierre Wimille, Meo Costantini and Jean Bugatti) will be unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show: here it is, this is the Rembrand Bugatti! For those who don’t know, Rembrand Bugatti was an exceptional Italian sculptor but also the brother of Ettore Bugatti, who became one of the most famous car manufacturers.
Rembrandt Bugatti is known for its dancing elephant sculpture (brand’s symbol) that decorates the radiator of the Bugatti Type 41 Royale. The new Rembrand Bugatti is based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse and has a price of €2.18 million Euro net. Few weeks ago we told you that Bugatti will hold private event in the US in an attempt to get rid of unsold Veyrons as its supercar is not quite a best seller. Still, it appears that the French carmaker now owned by the Volkswagen Group wants to prove us we are wrong and announced that all nine vehicles of the three models presented in the “Les Legendes de Bugatti” edition are already sold.
And this is not all, as Bugatti will present a total of six models in this edition, which means it is preparing another nine vehicles, each priced at around €2.2 million. For those who don’t know, Bugatti launched the “Les Légendes de Bugatti” edition last year and the first model to make its debut was paying tribute to Jean-Pierre Wimille, a two-time Le Mans winner for Bugatti.
The second model was unveiled back in September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show was dedicated to the design genius and son of company founder Ettore. The third and latest vehicle shown was named after Meo Costantini, head of the Bugatti factory racing team, and was unveiled in November at the Dubai Motor Show.Read the entire article Fourth ‘Les Legendes de Bugatti’ edition announced for 2014 Geneva Motor Show
It appears that Bugatti is very serious about a Super Sport version of the Veyron Grand Sport as the French manufacturer already started to accept orders for this new vehicle. At least according to the Dutch website Autoblog.nl, who also says that the car will make its debut in March at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Although we don’t have any details regarding the new car, we do expect to see the same specs as on the coupe version, which means the same 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged engine delivering 1200 hp (882 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm.
Still, we don’t know if the car will have the same top speed of 415 km/h or 257 mph, as we are talking about a removable roof. For those who don’t know, the Veyron Super Sport has few small improvements comparing it with the standard version and we are talking about a skin made entirely of carbon-fibre composites, and the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is available in 100 percent clear-lacquered exposed carbon on request.Read the entire article Bugatti Veyron Grand Super Sport coming to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show
