How much would you pay for the first used Bugatti Chiron in the UK?

One of the best feelings a person would experience is driving a brand new car that came straight from the dealership, especially if its something like a Bugatti Chiron that you probably have worked hard for. Also, we are all aware that any car depreciates the moment we take it out for a ride - but not this one.

Finally, the very first “usedBugatti Chiron in the UK has reached the market, and it looks like the previous owner is not going to lose money. But instead, he will earn another £1M ($1.32M) since he first purchased it. The car is currently listed at a specialist supercar dealer Romans International in Surrey, UK.

Today, the black car, which was one of the very first examples delivered in the UK, has a market value of £3.6M ($4.78M). That is £1.1M more than its original £2.5M tag price when it first came out. How lucky is the owner considering that this car has already been used. This example is also one of just 500 examples built for the Bugatti’s whole 10 year lifespan.

Bugatti Chiron with Forgiato Tecnica alloy wheels is hard to come by

With so many rims available in the market today, it’s quite the challenge to tell which one would look best on your car. How much more if you plan to match them to a Bugatti Chiron? Many owners of these 1500 hp monsters would usually prefer the manufacturer-supplied wheels over those that come from the aftermarket specialists. To some, the many choices out there can make the task overwhelming.

It’s good to know there exists a handful of Bugatti Chiron owners who are brave enough to take the less traveled road. Take for example, the owner of this Bugatti who decided to find a new set of Forgiato Tecnica rims instead of settling for the Chiron’s stock alloy wheels.

We have no way of knowing what the size of these wheels really are, but let’s just say they fit those tires that already came with the Chiron from scratch. The stock Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires are made especially for the Chiron’s powerful road potentials so keeping it stable under any road condition is imperative to its performance. In case the owner preferred another set of high performance tires, then we have to assume these must be the better ones. The stock comes in the sizes of 11x20 for the front and 14x21 for the rear.

Or the Bugatti Chiron might be more to your liking. But don’t forget that there is also the extremely rare Vision GT.

Because of how incredible this hypercar is, we just have to show you a video of its delivery to a collector based in Los Angeles. This one-off Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo first made its appearance in 2015. From looking at its design, you would be able to tell that it got some of its inspiration from the Bugatti Type 57G, which is a two-time Le Mans 24 Hour winner. The very first owner of this Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo was Saudi Arabian Prince Badr bin Saud. He then sold it to the new owner who is based in LA. As you heard in the video, this is the one and only Bugatti Vision GT that has reached the US soil, and it will be sitting in its new owner’s garage alongside a Porsche P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and a one-of-twenty Lamborghini Centenario. Bugatti Chiron loses title of fastest road-legal production car to Koenigsegg Agera RS

Bugatti is no longer the automaker that carries the fastest street legal production model after the Chiron was overtaken by no other than the Koenigsegg Agera RS. The new champion posted an average speed of 277.9 miles per hour (444.6 kilometers per hour) after doing two runs going in opposite directions as part of the Guinness’ requirements. It was Niklas Lilja, Koenigsegg’s factory driver, who was behind the Agera’s wheel when he broke the record at Pahrump, Nevada. All the figures were recorded and verified by Racelogic during the run last Saturday.

A couple of months ago, Koenigsegg was already talking about taking the crown from the Bugatti, which had Chiron’s 0-240-0 record. Drive Tribe had provided some of the details of the record-breaking feat. It reported that Agera RS was in Nevada, where it was put through a number of tests on a closed section of a road somewhere between Las Vegas and Pahrump. To make this possible, the Swedish automaker had to get permission from the Nevada Department of Transportation so they could close the particular road for the high-speed run.

In 2010, an unrestricted Bugatti Veyron Super Sport made a record of 267.81 miles per hour (431 kilometers per hour) at Volkswagen Group’s Ehra-Lessien test track. It was driven by Pierre Henri Raphanel, who was the automaker’s official test driver. It wasn’t long after that moment that a road-legal production model, which was the Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition, was launched. However, it had an electronic top speed limiter that lets it do just up to 258 miles per hour (145 kph) to preserve the integrity of the tires.

Have you ever wondered what you can you buy with $9,365 in your pocket? Well, you have quite a lot of options. In fact, you can even purchase a used vehicle and perhaps modify it to build a super fast car. On the other hand, you can get this scale model of the Bugatti Chiron’s powertrain.

This 1:4 scale model of Chiron’s 8.0 liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine and seven-speed dual clutch transmission is created and built by Amalgam. The real powertrain, on the other hand, measures 18 inches long and nine inches high.

You are probably wondering what makes it so expensive. Well, Amalgam claims that they took 2500 hours just to design everything, and that does not even include building it. Building each example took them around 220 hours using a total of 1,040 individual pieces.

Around a year and a half ago, a certain Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse (2014 model year) wrapped in a Transformers-themed finish was flagged for sale in California. Back then, the asking price for this one-off Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse was $2.1 million. Now, the same Autobot-marked Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is being sold by iLusson, a dealership that sells hypercars in Orange County, California.

While this is the very same Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse that was offered for sale in February 2016, it wasn’t clear whether it changed hands by then. It might have been or might have not been sold at the time, when this Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse still had 352 miles (568 km) on its odometer. What is clear is that since that time, this Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse was only driven for just a further 113 miles (180 km), as its odometer indicates it has already reached 465 miles (748 km). This added distance, however, is negligible, and that means this Transformers-themed Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse remains fairly new.

Its new asking price has dropped by around $200,000, as this one-off Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse – with Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of VF9SV25265M795079 -- is being sold by iLusso at just $1,899,000. That is still a lot of money to shed to purchase this Bugatti creation, but for a super-rich kid who is also a big fan of the Transformer’s Autobots, this example of the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse could be a great buy.

It can be recalled that the 32-year old football champ gifted himself with his very own Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse after winning the UEFA Euro Cup in 2016. Fast forward to the present, Cristiano Ronaldo has recently showed off his brand new Bugatti Chiron hypercar after Real Madrid’s win over Borussia Dortmund. Seen from his official Instagram account, the football superstar posted a video while taking his son for a ride on board this highly exotic machine.

While the video was captured just as the two were leaving the driveway, another post shows a picture of the hypercar still parked in front of the building. The video, with a caption that reads; “new animal in the building Bugatti Chiron” has currently earned over 16 million views after it was posted only four days ago.

Ronaldo spent nearly 2.4 million euros just to get his hands on the new 1,500hp, 1,180lb-ft Chiron, a limited production hypercar with only 500 units. That’s about 3 million USD, equivalent to about £1.85 million. Either way, the footballer’s hypercar features a two-tone grey black finish, thus, showing his taste is more subdued unlike the first Chiron that came to the US dressed up in a yellow and black combo.

We first saw the Galibier Concept eight years ago when Bugatti unveiled it. But today, it seems like they still have not given up on the development of an ultra-luxury sedan.

Wolfgang Durheimer, president of Bugatti, said in an interview with Automotive News that the four-door model "is not dead". Though he did not elaborate on this statement, he said that by 2018, its future will be determined by the Volkswagen Group executives.

If the automaker's plan pushes through, we can expect to see this model by 2024, and this model may actually replace the current Chiron, considering what Durheimer said will be a "one-model brand" for the future.

You have probably heard of the name Stephan Winkelmann, more so if you’re in the automotive industry. He was once the big boss of Lamborghini for 10 years, until first quarter of last year when he became head of Audi Sport. Now, he is switching teams again to move to Bugatti, as he replaces Wolfgang Durheimer as President. But this move still puts him within the VW Group.

The 52-year-old executive spent most of his time in the industry with Lamborghini, acting as the CEO of the Italian supercar marque from 2005 to 2016. And this year, he will be replacing Bugatti’s former CEO, the 59-year-old Durheimer after a quick year with Audi Sport. Though Durheimer wanted to leave the company before the end of the year, he was convinced to stay for the launch of the upcoming Continental GTC, that is the convertible version of the GT. Therefore, he will still be chairman of Bentley for the time being.

Back in the day when Winkelmann was in Lamborghini, he was able to help the brand triple its number of dealerships.

There is no disputing that the Bugatti Chiron is a beautiful monster. Much-awaited and much-hyped, this hypercar was described by Bugatti as the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car in the world, beating its likewise monstrous stable mate, the Bugatti Veyron. However, there is also one aspect that the Chiron is better at than the Veyron 16.4 – its fuel economy.

Yes, while the Chiron is over 50 percent more powerful than the Veyron -- their quad-turbo, 8.0-liter W16 engine producing outputs of 1,500 hp and 987 hp respectively, it nonetheless travels more miles per gallon on the combined cycle. That means the Chiron essentially consumes less fuel when on the go. Letting numbers do the talking, the Bugatti Chiron has been rated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to deliver 11 mpg on the combined cycle. This means that on the combined cycle, the Chiron has a better fuel economy than the Veyron, which is rated at 10 mpg.

In terms of highway fuel economy, the Veyron is slightly better than the Chiron. A gallon of fuel allows the Veyron to travel 15 miles and the Chiron for 14 miles – on the highway. On the other hand, the Chiron has better fuel economy on the city than the Veyron. The Chiron has been EPA-rated to return 9 mpg on the city, while the Veyron was estimated to be able to travel 8 miles on a gallon of fuel.

Bugatti Chiron is currently limited to a top speed of 261 miles per hour (420 kilometers per hour), which is more than impressive for car enthusiasts. That’s even faster than the Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition (WRE) by 3 miles per hour. But what a lot of people don’t know is that the Chiron can actually do better.

Andy Wallace, the company’s test driver, told Popular Mechanics that an unrestricted Chiron can actually go a little further than 280 miles per hour (450 kilometers per hour). He pointed out that its current production tires are holding it back from its true potential. He said that the Michelin engineers will be able to prove that the Bugatti will break the record for fastest production car ever made, between now and sometime next year.

Back in 2010, the unrestricted Veyron Super Sport was able to hit 268 miles per hour (431 kilometers per hour) at Volkswagen’s 13-mile Ehra-Lessien test track. It’s likely that the Bugatti Chiron will make its attempt here as well. After seven years, it is still the Veyron SS that holds the record in the Guinness World Records book.

While Bugatti doesn’t sell itself short when it comes to performance, many people know it doesn’t have enough oomph to stand out. Simply put; the French marque tends to go for subtlety, unlike other exotic hypercars with sharp edges or flashy color schemes. All the same, there is truly nothing wrong with a Veyron wrapped in gold as it is a car that costs over a million dollars.

American actor and Grammy award winning musician Jamie Foxx took to Instagram as he showed-off his newly customized Bugatti Veyron. His car, which used to be painted in a standard black and blue two-tone combination, now looks every inch an object built for those with the most expensive preferences.

Foxx opted for a gold wrap on every panel except for the horseshoe grille, door handles and center wheel caps that come with the standard chrome finish. On his post, the singer/ songwriter uploaded a photo of his gold Veyron with a caption saying; “I was feeling solid gold today when I drove in for work…”. He ended it with a Bugatti hashtag before telling more about Beat Shazam, an all-new game show he will be hosting on Fox TV.

How much are you willing to pay for the one-off super exclusive Bugatti Veyron Mansory Linea Vincero? As it is one of the most expensive cars out there, being seen driving it will make everyone sit up and take notice.

We are aware that whoever can afford a brand new Bugatti Chiron has an extra $2.9 million sitting in their bank, and definitely a lot more to keep it maintained every year or so. If you have been eyeing one but don’t want to spend that much, you can always get a second hand Bugatti. However, not all second hand units are cheaper than a brand new one. In this case, there is a 2008 Mansory Linea Vincero that is currently being sold through Dupont Registry. It is as luxurious as it sounds, plus it is a one-of-one model so don’t expect it to cost less than a brand new Chiron.

This beauty is just one of three Mansory Bugattis you will find in the world, and it is the only example ever built. What makes it more unique is the fact that it had been customized by the infamous German tuning shop, and has a full carbon body exterior. It seems that Dubai has become home to some of the largest dealerships in the world. For instance, Lamborghini of Italy and Bentley of the United Kingdom have their largest dealerships in the most populous and perhaps wealthiest city in the rich United Arab Emirates. Now, French carmaker Bugatti has recently opened its largest dealership in this wealthy city.

Opening a dealership in Dubai is a simple decision for carmakers – especially those building high-end and premium units – to make. After all, Dubai is a city where premium vehicles, supercars and exotic mobile units are a common sight. Seeing a Ferrari or a Lamborghini in different parts of the city is considered a normal event, considering that it is home or the second home to several of the world’s wealthiest families and individuals.

Considering the special status of Dubai among carmakers, it was no wonder that Bentley opened its largest dealership where it matters. In fact, the French carmaker has received 30 orders for its new Bugatti Chiron hypercar from the UAE alone. The establishment off the new dealership should boost Bugatti’s presence in the Middle East.

It seems insurance companies in the United States know how to ruin the Bugatti Chiron. Thankfully though, it is quite easy to restore the Chiron back to its original form, sans the nuisance feature.

Bugatti describes the Chiron as the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious as well as the most exclusive production super sports car in the world. However, its performance and luxury levels aren’t the only things that makes the Chiron stand out from rest. After all, the new Chiron is a beautifully crafted creation that is a product of excellent design. Its inherent beauty, however, could be ruined by installing a supposed protection feature which design doesn’t fit the elegant dynamic appearance of the Chiron.

We are referring to the two bumper protecting pads installed on the rear end of the Chiron. They could be best described as unsightly tumors, which do serve a function but fail to justify their existence. These pads are meant to protect the bumper from low-speed fender benders; although it seems that their design couldn’t even minimize body damage from rear-end collisions. According to Jalopnik, these two bumper protecting pads are even large enough to serve as seats for tailgating.

As we count the days before the Bugatti Chiron will be released to its expectant owners, the Bugatti designers will carry the burden of designing another super car to fit the needs of its affluent client roster. It will be a great mountain to climb indeed, and they need all the skill and luck to top their latest release. Recently an expert renderer teased the public of yet another Bugatti vehicle design, and yet we can only dream of it.

The new Bugatti Chiron was unveiled to us at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and is now considered as the world's fastest, most powerful production car to be ever released. How fast, you ask? This supercar of epic proportions is powered by the extensively updated version of the Veyron's 8.0 quad turbo W16 and produces what is regarded by the automotive company as the fastest speed yet from a production car: a mind boggling 1,500 metric hP (1480 bhp) and its max torque is shockingly massive with 1180 ft, spread in between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm.

Reported top speed of the Chiron is electronically conditional for road use, estimated to 420 kh/h (261 mph) due to its tire durability. And now it has been deemed one of the inspiration of the imagined Bugatti supercar, dubbed "Bugatti Type 57 T", and the render is breathtakingly beautiful. The Bugatti Type 57 T concept was conceived by Palestinian automotive artist and exterior designer Arthur B. Nustas. From the looks of it, you can tell that he based his concept on the new Chiron and the vintage line-up of cars including the original Type 57 of the 1930 s and 40s, combining the retro and the modern design with such impact.

A visit to Auto Serendin in Stuttgart Germany may be a matter of choice, but to some, having to wait another year for a brand new Bugatti Chiron is a test for patience. Or maybe not. Okay, so the German auto dealer’s asking price comes between $3.2 million to 3.8 million USD. That’s about 3.57 million euros compared to Bugatti’s 2.4-million-euro original price tag. What’s the deal?

Well, if you order this new Chiron at this dealership, instead of waiting 2 years for the delivery, it has been reduced to 1 year. Apparently, that’s just the icing on the cake. The best part of course, is all the goodies it will be receiving courtesy of Auto Serendin.

To make it really worth the price, the German dealer will be throwing in several premium upgrades on the stock Chiron model. The optional configuration includes a €50,000 wheel set with French Racing Blue accents amounting to €7,500 plus an additional €2,500 for the diamond cut finish. Clients who want a black-painted brake calipers should be more than willing to fork out an extra €2,500 to have it done. Not bad, huh.

There have been several occasions in the past when Bugatti competed in professional motorsports. Having won at least 1,000 races in the 1920s, the Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix Racer nevertheless echoes the design and standard for performance in this era.

In 1956, the French car manufacturer tried to find its way back to single seater grand prix through the Circuit de Reims-Gueux Formula One World Championship. However, Bugatti has not competed since then.

The idea of reviving Bugatti’s glorious days in motorsport however didn’t just end there. Throughout the years, the Molsheim factory at some point has produced the world’s fastest legal road car ---its none other than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

As if owning a Bugatti Chiron was not enough, the luxury automaker has partnered with yacht builder Palmer Johnson to release the Bugatti Niniette 66. For those who want a yacht that best complements their Chiron, this is clearly intended for you.

With a length of 66 feet, as implied by the name, maximum speed has been measured to be 44 knots. In terms of land-based transportation, this is around 50 mph.

If you’re wondering though, this is not something that both companies decided to do on the fly. This particular project had its beginnings going as far back as 2015. It was during this time that the two companies decided to come up with a product that would combine their strength in order to deliver the best on-water experience. While they did manage to do just that, one is likely to see that they were able to incorporate the 8.0-liter W16 engine of the Chiron that could deliver 1,479 hp. The Niniette 66 instead utilizes the usual MAN V8 marine engine that is capable of either 1,000 hp or 1,200 hp. Meanwhile the MJP waterjets are responsible for moving the yacht forward. However, with a draft measuring around four feet, it can travel in shallow water without any problems.
