Mercedes-Benz has chosen New York City as the location to reveal to us the refreshed C63 AMG family. These comprise the coupe, sedan, and cabriolet. In fact, we have seen the pre production models being tested but finally, the automaker has decided to get rid of the camouflage.
Now, we finally see them in the flesh, and we would say that one of the most obvious changes would be the new Panamericana grille that is actually pretty standard across the AMG line. That’s not the only thing it has been given though, as the 2019 C63’s front fascia has slightly been reworked as well. Meanwhile, the rear part gets twin tailpipes with high gloss chrome and a tweaked rear diffuser.
Under the hood of this C63 is a biturbo 4.0 liter V8 that enables it to produce 469 horsepower (350 kilowatts), while the C63 S has 503 horsepower (375 kilowatts). The engine is paired with a nine speed wet clutch automatic gearbox, which has been replaced by the seven speed unit in the outgoing model.Read the entire article Updated 2019 Mercedes-AMG C63 lineup gets digital cockpit, modified drive programs
In our generation, super estates that had been tuned to become more powerful are becoming more common. One of the latest to be modified is the Mercedes-AMG C63 that has been made to go much quicker than the previous-generation supercars.
Thanks to aftermarket tuner Vath as they have turned this wagon into a ferocious beast. And believe it or not, in only 3.3 seconds, it can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour) before hitting its maximum speed of 340 kilometers per hour (211 miles per hour).
After it has been tuned, the Mercedes-AMG C63 is now faster than a stock Ferrari 458 Italia by 0.1 second, which may not seem like much but any improvement is a big deal in this industry. This was attained after Vath tweaked its 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, that now gives out 700PS (690 horsepower) and 900 Nm (664 pound-feet) of torque. But if you want this to be done to your existing wagon, you will have to spend 12,800 euros ($14,870). With this, the tuner can enhance the car’s electronica and turbochargers, while adding a new oil cooler for the engine and transmission.Read the entire article Vath boosts output of 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate to 700 hp
When Mercedes-Benz unveiled the AMG GT Concept, it received positive reviews. Fans were praising it for the sweeping lines and the arching fastback shape, mirroring the CLS-Class. Even with the excellent acclaim, that did not stop fans from coming up with their own versions. The latest of this was posted at Behance, a site owned by Adobe.
Rendered by a certain Aksyonov Nikita, the AMG GT Concept is depicted as a wagon or estate. This particular version is truly excellent especially with the long roof. Being a wagon, the haunches in the rear are larger. This is complemented by fender flares, resulting in the render have a more natural look to it.
If anything, this version brings to mind the Panamera Sport Turismo of Porsche. It is interesting to note that the use of blue for the render makes it look like the long-roof blue Porsche, that same model unveiled along the AMG GT Concept during this year’s Geneva Auto Show. When the Sport Turismo was first revealed, it attracted a lot of attention especially in the high-performance and exotic class.Read the entire article Rendering of Mercedes-AMG GT Estate is exceptional
In time for the official market launch of the new generation E63 and E63 S models, pricing for Mercedes-AMG’s E63 Estate Edition 1 has also been announced in Germany. Let’s just say the equivalent price in US dollars comes at approximately $152,575.
For starters, the standard E63 wagon boasts a 0-62 acceleration under 3.6 seconds and a top speed reaching 155mph (250 kilometers per hour). With 571hp (420kW) and 553 lb-ft (750Nm) of torque under the hood, the entry level variant can be had for the price of 112,907 euros. Clearly there’s nothing “ordinary” about its performance.
Next, the E63 S comes with a starting price of € 124,688. With its mightier engine, the Mercedes E63 S can deliver a much more powerful 612hp (450kW) and 627 lb-ft (850Nm) torque than the standard version. Even more impressive is the output that has enough punch to push the vehicle by tenth of a second before topping off at 155mph (250kph).Read the entire article 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate Edition 1 comes with record-breaking price of 139,980 euros
Incredible Hulk is not your typical superhero yet he has avid followers around the world. In our opinion, he has inspired the creation of a monstrous package for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate.
In the world of aftermarket automotive tuning, Germany-based Brabus GmbH has been known for its ability to transform vehicles – most of which are Mercedes-Benz nameplates – into something that doesn’t only look powerful but also performs like monsters on the road. Yet, these Brabus-tuned Mercedes vehicles aren’t monstrous villains, but are road heroes that take their drivers and/or passengers from one place to another comfortably and luxuriously. The upgrades are definitely not limited to its looks.
This AMG C63 S Estate is wrapped in a lime green exterior – similar to the radioactive color of the Incredible Hulk. However, unlike the Incredible Hulk who is muscular and rugged, this Brabus AMG C63 S Estate is stylish and elegant.Read the entire article Brabus transforms Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate into a 650 hp beast
More than a month after Skoda unveiled the 2017 Octavia Facelift, the Czech carmaker ended doubts whether there would be an RS version or not. It has become official that the 2017 Skoda Octavia RS facelift is coming to the market.

Station wagons are becoming more handsome than ever judging from the latest all-road models whipped out by Audi, Volvo and Subaru. Joining the fray is none other than the new Mercedes Benz E-Class All-Terrain, which is set to take the centre stage at the 2016 Paris Motor Show coming this October. Let’s have a quick tour and see what the fuss is all about.
The German company has done a pretty amazing job by creating an all-road estate that almost resembles an SUV. So what is there to expect? Aside from its rugged-style front grille, the new off-road vehicle features 4MATIC all-wheel drive, flared wheel arches, bigger sets of wheels plus AIR BODY CONTROL suspension, thereby increasing its ground clearance like never before.
The ALL-TERRAIN is in fact the most versatile version to ever come out of this segment. At least that’s how Daimler management board member Ola Källenius perceives the new E-Class’ All-Wheel Drive model. Moreover, the rugged styling makes it more like a typical sport utility vehicle than a traditional station wagon but offers the same amount of space needed for those long weekend trips with the whole family.Read the entire article Mercedes-Benz E-Class takes the high road with new All-Terrain model
The estate version of the new Mercedes-Benz E‑Class was presented at the Mercedes Cup tennis tournament in Stuttgart. The new E-Class Estate boasts of providing the most spacious interior in its segment. Its sportier roofline does not in any way compromise the headroom and elbowroom in the rear cabin – in fact they are the largest in this class. Moreover, the new E-Class Estate offers between 670 liters and 1,820 liters of cargo capacity, which means that its load compartment is one of the largest in the segment.
As standard, the backrest of rear bench seat could be positioned at a steering angle of around 10‑degrees – resulting to an increase of 30 more liters of cargo volume, while still allowing all five seats to be used. Also, the rear seat backrest could fold down in a 40:20:40 split, thereby offering several interior configurations that would favor either the passengers or the cargo.
The backrests could be released through the electric switches placed in the load compartment and to the right and left next to the backrests. In addition, as soon as later this year, Mercedes will be offering a third folding bench seat for children on the new Estate.Read the entire article 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate version makes its debut
