Following the global debut of the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the German premium carmaker is introducing the new Audi R8. The refreshed version of the Audi R8 boasts of a sharper look and better performance made possible by more powerful V10 engines and a modified suspension system.
As part of the upgrade of the new Audi R8, the premium carmaker is implementing a change in designation. From now on, the Audi R8 Coupé V10 and R8 Spyder V10 will be known as the Audi R8 Coupé V10 quattro and R8 Spyder V10 quattro. On the other hand, the Audi R8 Coupé and R8 Spyder V10 plus will be designated as Audi R8 Coupé performance Quattro and R8 Spyder V10 performance quattro. Audi plans to commence sales of the new R8 in the first quarter of 2019 in Germany and other markets in Europe.
Under the hood of the Audi R8 V10 quattro is a V10 naturally aspirated engine that has powered up by 22 kW (30 hp) and 10 Nm (7.4 lb.-ft.) to 419 kW (570 hp) of max output and 550 Nm (405.7 lb.-ft.) of peak torque. This allows the Audi R8 Coupe V10 quattro to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds and the R8 Coupe V10 quattro in 3.5 seconds. Choosing between a petrol-powered Audi A1 and a diesel-run one in the United Kingdom is quite tricky now with the arrival of the 97g/km TFSI version of the subcompact. This will be the petrol version with such specs in an Audi vehicle.

After selling over 500,000 units, Audi decided to offer a facelift for its smaller model, the A1. As a result, the German manufacturer unveiled today the new 2015 Audi A1 Facelift and A1 Sportback Facelift models. The first thing you notice about the A1 facelift when looking at the photos are the redesigned headlights, which include the daytime running LEDs.
In addition, fresh decors and paints give the vehicles an even more attractive appearance. As an option, Audi can offer the roof arch on the A1 or roof dome on the A1 Sportback in a contrasting color. According to the manufacturer, thanks to the sportier design, the models are 2 cm longer at a length of 3.98 meters.
Six engines, gasoline and diesel, will be offered and some of them are new or have been improved. The Audi RS Q3 was introduced back in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, but the high-performance crossover has just received a facelift. If the previous model used a 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder engine developing 310 hp and 420 Nm of torque, the RS Q3 Facelift arrives with 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. As a result, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds, while top speed is limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph.
Comparing it with its predecessor, the RS Q3 is much faster because the old RS Q3 was able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds. Thanks to the RS exhaust system with switchable flaps, the sound of the five-cylinder engine is even more sexy.

The Audi Q3 made its debut back in 2011 and since then, it became a successful model for the German company. Still, Audi needed to improve its smallest crossover and unveiled today the facelifted version. When it comes to design, the redesigned Audi Q3 arrived with a new Singleframe grille, brand new headlights which are offered as standard with xenon plus technology and LED daytime running lights, optional LED headlights as well as redesigned LED taillights.
At the top of the two new Q3 trim lines design and sport are the S line sport package, the S line exterior package, the Audi exclusive design package and the Audi exclusive exterior design package. If you want a luxury limo that can accelerate as fast as your Ferrari or Lamborghini, you should take a closer look at the Audi S8 tuned by ABT Sportsline. It’s not the first time when ABT Sportsline takes on the S8, but now the vehicle became even more powerful and faster.
Thanks to the ABT Power S New Generation performance tuning, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine was boosted from 520 hp (382 kW) and 650 Nm of torque to a staggering 675 hp (496 kW) and 840 Nm of torque. As a result, the top speed increased from 250 km/h (155 mph) to 290 km/h or 180 mph.

Back in September, Audi unveiled at the facelift A6 family and as expected, the German manufacturer brought its entire new lineup at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Changes are obvious and include an updated Singleframe grille, headlights, air inlets, bumpers, side sills, taillights and tailpipes. Audi revealed today the A6 Facelift, an updated version of its popular model which is offered in three versions: Sedan, Avant and Allroad Quattro. Each model received subtle modifications such as an updated Singleframe grille, new headlights featuring a refreshed design for the LED daytime running lights, redesigned air inlets, bumpers, side sills, rear lights and tailpipes.
As an option, the 2015 Audi A6 Facelift is available with Matrix LED technology. According to the German company, the A6 Facelift arrives with an intelligent composite construction concept where the body is extremely rigid and safe. Thanks to its aluminum components and hot-shaped steel, the new A6 1.8 TFSI has a curb weight (without the driver) of 1,535 kg (1184.1 lb).
The new Audi design collection in the interior offers the flint gray colour, while the front seats are now available with optional ventilation and massage functions. Earlier today we talked about the facelifted 2015 Audi A6 Sedan and Avant models, but now we will take a closer look at the 2015 A6 Allroad Quattro Facelift. Based on the A6 Avant, the new A6 Allroad Quatttro is able to take its passengers almost anywhere thanks to its raised body and steel lining that underside of the front and rear ends.
When it comes to design, the new model features vertical slats in the Singleframe grille, new headlights that can be configured as an option with LED or matrix LED technology, as well as a new set of taillights that get a new LED design. According to Audi, the A6 Allroad Quattro Facelift is offered with a choice of four 3.0-liter V6 engines, a 3.0-liter TFSI and three versions of the 3.0-liter TDI engine.

Earlier today we talked about the 2015 A6 Sedan / Avant Facelift as well as by the 2015 A6 Allroad Quattro Facelift, but we didn’t tell you folks anything about the new S6, S6 Avant and RS6 Avant models. As expected, these models also receive the new headlights that are available as an option with LED or matrix LED technology, as well as with redesigned LED design for the taillights.
The S6 and S6 Avant are powered by the same 4.0-liter TFSI biturbo V8 engine that delivers 450 hp (331 kW) and 550 Nm of torque. If last month, Audi introduced the 2015 A7/S7 Sportback Facelift, today the lineup was completed thanks to the arrival of the 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback Facelift. Do not expect a dramatic design update for this model as you will be disappointed! Still, the 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback Facelift comes with a new Singleframe grille with black honeycomb just like on other RS models, as well as with sharper corners.
Audi offers three optional packages – matt aluminum, gloss black and carbon – that make the RS7 Sportback even more attractive. Audi also said that the front bumper was updated too, but the modifications are small and you will not notice them.
The biggest update is the new headlights that have been adapted to the new Singleframe grille. The headlights are offered with LED technology as standard, while the optional headlights featuring the Matrix LED technology are offered with darkened trims. Audi has just unveiled the facelifted 2015 A7/S7 Sportback models announcing new configurations, transmissions headlights, taillights and infotainment system. As you can see from the pictures, the most striking changes are found on the Singleframe grille, bumpers tailpipes and headlights. Audi now offers as standard LED technology and as an option, the German carmaker can supply Matrix LED headlights.
The interior was updated too with new materials, including the aluminum/Beaufort walnut inlay and Valcona leather. For the 2015MY, Audi redesigned the color palette that offers five color options. The 2015 Audi A7 Sportback Facelift is offered with a choice of fiveengines, two TFSI and three TDI.
Their power rating ranges from 160 kW (218 hp) to 245 kW (333 hp), and all of them comply with the Euro 6 emission standard. The 3.0-liter TDI V6 Clean Diesel delivers 272 hp (200 kW) or 218 hp (160 kW). The Audi S8 is my kind of flagship sedan and honestly to tell you, I didn’t like any tuning kit for it… until today, when ABT Sportsline revealed its customization programme for the German sedan. The tuning company focused its efforts on the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine and boosted its performances from 520 hp (382 kW) and 650 Nm of torque, to an impressive 640 hp (471 kW) and 780 Nm of torque.
As a result, the ABT Sportsline Audi S8 has now a top speed electronically limited at 280 km/h or 174 mph. The exterior design remains untouched, but ABT added a new set of their DR alloy wheels as well as a new four-pipe ABT muffler system made of stainless steel.

Audi presented today the 2014 A8 L Security, a high-security version of its flagship sedan that meets the highest level of criteria that applies to civilian vehicles. Just like the 2014 Audi A8 Facelift, the new A8 L Security Facelift comes with the singleframe grille, new Matrix LED headlights, as well as updated LED rear lights.
The exhaust system is terminated by two large trapezoidal tailpipe trims on both sides of the tail end. Confirmation of UK pricing this week has paved the way for even more elegant, more technologically sophisticated and more fuel efficient new generation Audi A8 models to plot a course for the UK. The new generation Audi A8 is now available to order in the United Kingdom with a starting price of £58,800.
Due to arrive in the UK in January 2013, the new Audi A8 boasts of revisions to its weight-optimized, mostly aluminum Audi Space Frame (ASF) body as well as a host of technological advances like the new MatrixBeam Light Emitting Diode headlights and an improved line-up of EU6-compliant engines.

Audi presented a new A8 at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show that’s expected to propel the brand to become one of the innovation leaders in the luxury class. The new A8 is built with lighter materials and is available with engines that are more powerful. It features new assistance systems and Matrix LED headlight technology.
Audi revealed that the short-wheelbase A8 3.0-liter TFSI has a curb weight of 4,034-pounds – the best in class for all-wheel-drive models. Its body is built of mostly aluminium and has a weight of only 509 pounds. The regular models will have the same length, wheelbase and height but the A8 L will be longer by 5.12 inches. In terms of design, the changes on the A8 include a grille that’s more expressive and a hood that’s more sculptured.
The lower edge of the headlights appears to be straighter than the previous model. When taken as a whole, the front end looks more menacing and more aggressive. The 2014 Audi A8 Facelift made its debut today and as expected, the flagship sedan showed its new and innovative Matrix LED headlights. In terms of design, do not expect a radical change as you will not get any! The 2014 A8 Facelift comes with more sculptured singleframe grille, engine hood and front bumper and the LED headlights are now standard in all models powered by a V8 engine.
As an option, the headlights featuring the Matrix LED technology are available. For those who don’t know it yet, the Matrix LED headlights use 25 individual light-emitting diodes per unit that can be switched on and off or dimmed individually depending on the situation.
The rear LED lamps were also redesigned and they are flatter now. All the A8 models now feature two rhomboid tailpipes, except the S8, which features four tailpipes. New chrome strips and high-gloss black window frames round out the differentiating design details. There is a choice of twelve colors, including five new ones. The 2014 Audi R8, which is priced from $119,150, is now on sale. This refreshed model is available at dealerships together with the Audi R8 V10 Plus that’s priced at $174,795. Prices are inclusive of a $1250 destination fee and $3000 gas guzzler tax. The most significant change on the 2014 Audi R8 is probably the use of the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, offered on both engines.
2014 R8 V10 Plus is capable of accomplishing the 0-62mph sprint 0.3 seconds quicker because of the new transmission. The 2014 Audi R8′s 4.2-liter V-8 can deliver 430 hp and 316 lb-ft of torque while the 5.2-liter V-10 has an output of 525 hp and 391 lb-ft. A modified GTR aftermarket program for the Audi R8 is what ABT Sportsline will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. ABT focused its improvements on the V10-powered R8 that is powered by a 5.2-liter FSI engine that develops 550 HP (404 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) in the Plus version. ABT’s engineers are capable of raising the output to 620 HP (456 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque.
Accelerating from zero to 62mph can be accomplished by the stock V10 R8 in 3.5 seconds, while the ABT-tuned variant can do so in 3.2 seconds. The standard model is capable of hitting a top speed of 193 mph (311 km/h) while the facelifted model can reach 202 mph (325 km/h).
Carbon fiber was used for the side skirts, hood, front and rear apron, rear wing and also for the adjustable front splitter. With these modifications, the Audi R8 GTR by ABT has become lighter than the standard model by 110 kg (242 lbs) to achieve a final weight of 1,515 kg (3,340 lbs).
