2017 Geneva: Mansory delivers the goods with a stunning Ferrari 4XX Siracusa Spider

If there is one thing we can count on Mansory to do right every time, it is in how it does extreme makeover. With many years of practice, it has become a household name when it comes to auto tuning. One reason is because its designs are always a step ahead of competing brands.

Once again, get ready for a treat as the German auto tuner is bringing the house down with its very own 4XX Siracusa Spider. Mansory has redesigned the Ferrari 488 GTB as inspired by the Siracusa coupe that has taken over Switzerland in 2016. For this year however, the German tuning company presents an open-top 488 GTB with extremely designed body work plus an over-the-top performance package that boasts up to 790hp.

After showcasing a range of Mansory-tuned vehicles earlier this week, all eyes are now on the new Mansory Ferrari 4XX Siracusa Spider. The redesigned exterior dons a newly upgraded front fascia with new diffuser, air inlets and a revised front lip. Masonry has also replaced the side skirts on the Ferrari 488 GTB Spider with a new pair of carbon fiber mirror casings and daytime running lights in LED.

Pogea Racing upgrade package for Ferrari 488 GTB is even better than the Pista

Ferrari decided to boost the 488 GTB and made its mid-engined V8 machine beefier for a more hardcore 488 Pista, which we saw around 2 months ago. Now, the engineers from Pogea Racing learnt from this and did the exact same thing, while managing to squeeze out even more power from the biturbo 3.9 liter V8.

If the 488 from Maranello can bring out 720 horsepower and 770 Newton metres (568 pound feet) of torque, the FPlus Corsa project pushes its output even more by another 100 horsepower and 130 Newton metres (96 lb ft), giving it a total output of 820 horsepower (603 kilowatts) and 900 Newton metres (664 lb ft).

The engine isn’t all that was tweaked here, as Pogea Racing decided to play with its exhaust system and decided that it would install stainless steel flaps to make the most out of the V8’s beautiful soundtrack. After all the upgrades that had been done to the powertrain, there is a palpable impact on the Ferrari 488 GTB’s performances as it has become quicker than the Pista.

Leaked photos: Ferrari 488 GTO is lighter but more powerful than GTB model

There are so many stories circulating about whether Ferrari will be building an SUV or a fully electric model that people seem to be forgetting about Ferrari’s soon to be rockstar - the hardcore 488 GTB that will bring back the “GTO” moniker, which will also likely be the most desirable car to carry the prancing horse logo. In a leaked document by California Air Resources Board, there was a “488 Special Series Coupe” that was listed, so we definitely know that it is on its way.

We are expecting the 488 Special Series Coupe to make its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show in March. In a recent closed door dealer meeting where the 488 was the main topic, someone seemed to have sneakily took photos of the slideshow that contained juicy information about the said model, which he then shares with a website with content that is mostly focused on Ferrari.

So, what can we expect from the 488 GTO? Here are some things we know. It will likely be equipped with Ferrari’s most powerful V8 engine ever made, giving out the highest power increase compared to a donor car for a V8 special series.

3 of Ferrari’s top guys are now with Aston Martin, first task is to build 488 GTB competitor

Aston Martin may be known for building many of the stylish Bond cars we see on the big screen but nobody really knew how it can get super aggressive when it comes to undermining the competition. Until now.

Andy Palmer, Aston Martin CEO recently discussed with Autoblog and shared more details about its plans for a mid-engine supercar. Like he said, the 488 GTB is the best car in its segment and that they are hell-bent on competing against it.

When asked how the company is going to take on the Ferrari 488 GTB, Palmer admittedly said that they need to recruit some of Ferrari’s key people particularly the head of engineering and the head of powertrains. In fact, he also admitted that there are three of them who are now already working for him.

Bentley Mulsanne is Mansory's latest project to date, and it looks much more stylish compared to some of the last ones they have tuned.

The ultra luxurious Mulsanne has been given just the right amount of facelift with additional carbon fiber details from the front bumper lip spoiler, and fog lamps surround. More carbon has been added in the form of side skirts, boot lid spoiler, and rear bumper diffuser.

What completes the new look of the limo would be the huge set of 22-inch forged wheels hugged by 285/35Z ultra-high performance tires on the front and rear axles. The hot wheels were of course, recommended by Mansory.

How much are you willing to pay for the one-off super exclusive Bugatti Veyron Mansory Linea Vincero? As it is one of the most expensive cars out there, being seen driving it will make everyone sit up and take notice.

We are aware that whoever can afford a brand new Bugatti Chiron has an extra $2.9 million sitting in their bank, and definitely a lot more to keep it maintained every year or so. If you have been eyeing one but don’t want to spend that much, you can always get a second hand Bugatti. However, not all second hand units are cheaper than a brand new one. In this case, there is a 2008 Mansory Linea Vincero that is currently being sold through Dupont Registry. It is as luxurious as it sounds, plus it is a one-of-one model so don’t expect it to cost less than a brand new Chiron.

This beauty is just one of three Mansory Bugattis you will find in the world, and it is the only example ever built. What makes it more unique is the fact that it had been customized by the infamous German tuning shop, and has a full carbon body exterior. The Veyron has also been given a facelift, now with a “V” built into the front bumper, and LED daytime running lights that complement the new front fenders and front apron. To complete the look, gold wheels and gold side mirrors were added for a more luxurious feel.

Mansory is one of the aftermarket tuners that could turn a vehicle into an extreme creation. Its makeovers usually don’t only entail dramatic visual modifications but also include performance tweaks. Now, a Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 had such honor to receive one of Mansory’s extreme makeovers, and it looks menacingly splendid.

The Mercedes-AMG GLS63 is easily the S Class of the SUV world. In terms of power, luxury, spaciousness and even technology, the GLS63 could be considered as a dominant model. This is primarily why the GLS 63 premium performance SUV is one of the favorite vehicles that aftermarket tuners like to tweak. Brabus has already released its own turned version of the AMG GLS 63, the Brabus 850 XL. Now, it is Mansory’s turn to showcase its own interpretation of the AMG GLS 63.

Compared to the guise of a typical AMG GLS 63, the appearance of Mansory’s version simply looks more dominant and aggressive. Its more menacing looks aren’t just because of its dark finish, but also thanks to its wider body. Mansory widened the body of the AMG GLS 63 by 25 mm on the front and 40 mm on the rear. Moreover, the side skirts of this tweaked AMG GLS 63 were designed to lend the SUV lower yet more stretched looks.

Ferrari is cooking up something interesting for us. The last time they released the 488 GTB was two years ago, followed by a 488 Spider and several versions of it. And now, it seems like they are preparing for the release of the 458 Speciale’s successor, the 488 GTO.

So, whats there to be excited about? The Ferrari 488 GTO is meant to rival Porsche’s 911 GT2. Therefore, the race-inspired flagship model will have a 3.9 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of producing 700 horsepower (521 kilowatts). That is a huge power difference from its predecessor, and the Spider’s 493-kilowatt (660 hp) engine. It is expected for the 760 Newton-metre torque to increase as well due to the increased boost from the turbochargers.

The track-focused 488 GTO will follow a “more power, less weight” principle - just like the 360 Challenge Stradale and the 430 Scuderia. The company aims to bring the weight just under 1400 kilograms. And to cut down some of its weight, the 488 GTO will be built with a stripped out cockpit, thinner glass, and perhaps a more aggressive aerodynamic kit.

Remember the first time someone put a television screen inside their car? People got crazy over that, and almost everyone wanted one for themselves. Well, with the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class by Mansory, there’s no need to pimp your ride! Everything has already been pimped out for you. But no, this isn’t like what you see on the television. Not with huge booming speakers and multi-colour LED lights.

The high-end van caters to busy executives. Imagine the space and comfort you get in a first-class suite, all compressed in a van. The Mercedes V250d takes luxury vans to a new level, promoting first-class travel.

So let me get to the point. The Mercedes-Benz V250d has very minimal enhancements when it comes to the exterior. Other than the two-tone paintwork and mirror housings, it now features LED-integrated air ducts for a sportier look, trapezoid exhaust tips, and a custom set of 19-inch wheels and exhaust tailpipes. All of these are composed of carbon fiber.

Just when you think that nothing could surprise you anymore when it comes to wild cars, a few more cars come along to astonish you. These versions seen at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show were built by either the carmakers themselves or by specialty tuners.

At this time of the year, we all expect to see the most stunning recreations of cars gathered at the Convention Palexpo, where the 2017 Geneva Motor Show is currently being held.

Carmakers and tuners have spent quite a good deal of time and effort to make these cars quite different from their original versions.

The 2017 Geneva Motor Show has recently opened its doors with the most spectacular display of different automotive brands from around the world. Tugging along a wide array of upgrades, Mansory steps on stage with an extra powerful, wide-bodied Maserati Levante clad in orange-tinted carbon fiber.

There, sitting at the exhibit stand is the German luxury car tuner’s eye-popping Italian crossover. The more aggressive styling and added performance is courtesy of Mansory’s new exhaust system, better air filter design and newly upgraded engine management software.

As a result, the Maserati Levante receives an additional 34 hp (25kW) which gains a total of 458 horsepower (342 kilowatts) from its 3.0-liter twin turbo V6 engine.

If you want your Ferrari to look more “exclusive”, Misha Rade Djoedvic’s design team has special kits for that special toy of yours! After successfully tuning the Ferrari 458, Misha Designs dresses up a Ferrari 488 GTB with its latest body kits.

The new body kit comes in two different styles, the Limited wide body and the Regular. What’s more, Misha will be making only 20 units of the wide body version which comes with large rear wings, a more protruding rear diffuser and 3-inches wider quarter panels so better hurry.

As for the front end, the design specialist took inspirations from a Formula 1 series. You can see this on the Ferrari 488’s more aggressive styling cues just like the bonnet, carbon lip, large double splitter and the distinctively large carbon fiber component along the middle. The rear section has the same design of the Ferrari FXX-K judging from the large rear diffuser that adapts to the way the Ferrari 488 GTB’s exhaust is being placed.

The Ferrari 488 GTB – with all its sporty elegance and dynamic beauty – has been a favorite tuning subject for car tuners in many parts of the world. Now, world renowned Japanese tuning company Liberty Walk is joining the global club of tuners that has made the Ferrari 488 GTB the centerpiece of their modification project.

Liberty Walk’s version of the Ferrari 488 GTB was recently unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon. As expected, this Ferrari 488 GTB is not walking without boasting of Liberty Walk’s signature modifications – it is fitted with extra-wide body kits and is lowered very close to the ground. These modifications gave this turbocharged Ferrari a lower “stanced” appearance.

Aside from the wider body kits and lowered suspension, the Ferrari 488 GTB by Liberty Walk was heavily revised in terms of its exterior looks. Wrapped in bluish gray color finish, this Ferrari 488 GTB by Liberty Walk features a glossy black roof as well as glossy black side mirror housing. In addition, the Ferrari 488 GTB by Liberty Walk features a glossy black front lip spoiler and glossy black wheels wrapped in sporty Pirelli tires.

With the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class expected to be unveiled sometime in 2017, a lot of people are already getting thrilled and excited on how the next-gen would work and look like. This could be mainly because the current generation of the G Class has been so well-accepted and well-liked. In fact, the current generation of the G Class has been in existence since 1990 and a replacement model has yet to be unveiled by Mercedes-Benz. Since then, the G Class has been one of the favorite vehicles that aftermarket tuners have wanted to modify.

One of these tuners is Germany-based tuning company Mansory. This known tuner was able to create a wide body chassis program for the Mercedes-Benz G Class, making the SUV look more aggressive yet ruggedly handsome on the road and off the road. This wide body chassis program includes extensions and carbon fiber components, as complemented by dynamic alloy wheels, an elegant interior and a significant bump in performance. All of these improvements could also be fitted on the Mercedes G350, G500, G63, and G65.

So, what do we specifically get? Well, the G wide body kit from Mansory includes carbon fiber fender flares, front and rear bumper as well as door skins. Once fitted, the G wide body kit – available at a starting price of EUR18,900 excluding value added tax -- extends the serial chassis of the G Class by around 40 mm (or 20 mm on each side). For those who think that the kit isn’t good enough, they could have their G Class fitted with carbon fiber hood, roof panel and a roof spoiler. They could also choose between two or four position lights. These carbon fiber elements could be further complemented by carbon fiber rear-view mirror housing, headlight covers, door handles, and A pillar paneling.

For many people, the word Bentley generally refers to luxury, beauty, and refinement. A good example of this is the 2017 Bentayga which was first revealed back in 2015. While undoubtedly the most expensive SUV on the market, it also boasts of being the fastest with electronically limited speed at 187 mph.

However for Germany-based Mansory, this was clearly not enough as the celebrated tuning company has taken a shot at the 2017 Bentayga and has come out with a version that does away with the English country feel and instead brings with it a look that’s much sportier and far more exciting.

It was back in May of this year when Mansory first offered a glimpse of how they would approach the 2017 Bentayga. Then they showed a grille and hood made of carbon fiber and fitted with the 23-inch multi-spoke wheels. While there was no word on the interior, there was a promise that inside would be a mix of carbon fiber, wood, Alcantara, and high-quality leather.

When Mercedes-Benz first introduced the G500 4x4 squared, the encore version of the awesome G-Class 6x6, not everyone was pleased with it. Don’t get us wrong, the car stands out from all other vehicles in its class and is as wild as it can be but buyers were expecting more. Actually, people expected that a G63 AMG version would be released, a more powerful and expensive option than the standard 4x4 squared. As they say, you just can’t get all the good stuff, right?

Now enter Mansory, an auto tuner based in Germany. Mansory is known for uniquely recreating some of the most badass vehicles that have ever walked (or ran) the face of the Earth. They are the brains behind batshit crazily tuned vehicles such as a Gold and Green Rolls-Royce Ghost that looks like something built in Oz, a Bentley Continental GT in contrasting burnt chrome orange wrap and exposed black carbon with matching interiors, and a sexy Mansory Ferrari F12 La Revoluzione in delicious candy colored Revolution Red with exposed carbon weave, a vehicle perfect for the Daredevil. But the “badass-ery” isn’t just on its appearance. Apparently, the German auto tuner has what it takes to create an already powerful vehicle into something extraordinary.

In addition to the growing number of outrageous vehicles (in a good and eye-popping way), Mansory took to their loony workspace the recreation of the Mercedes Benz G500 4x4 squared. The 4x4 squared had to undergo extensive upgrades from a new grille to even cooler LED running lights, some bespoke headlight housings, mirrors, wheel arches and door handles all made of carbon fiber. Even the roof and rear trim were not spared from the reconstruction as all are made of the same lightweight material. Its interior has also been redecorated so that its dashboard, door trims, steering wheel and handbrake were all made of carbon fiber. To provide a more aesthetic value to the interior, the seats were quilted and the stitching matches the color of the exterior paint job.

The Ferrari 488 GTB was first launched on February 3, 2015 prior to its world premiere at the March 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The 488 GTB is the successor of the much-loved 458 Italia and is now the standard bearer for all things “super” in the Ferrari line-up.

This two-seat berlinetta is powered by a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 that makes a distinct sonorous sound and monstrous acceleration, making it one of the most vicious supercars that have ever set foot (or its wheels) on this planet.

The car is named after its 488 cubic centimeter per cylinder displacement (times eight, works out about 3,902 cc displacement). Even with a 0.6-liter deficiency compared to its predecessor, the 488 GTB engine is still capable of producing more power. It can reach up to 661 horsepower and 561 lb.-ft. of torque. With this much power, this dual-clutch seven-speed supercar can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.0 seconds covering a quarter-mile in 10.45 seconds. It is also estimated to have a top speed of 205 mph. The 488 GTB is surely one for the books with power and class as its best asset.

Featuring a polyester body and powered by a 310 hp three-liter V8 engine, the Ferrari 308 Gr4 Pioneer (Ferrari 308 GTB), was a truly imposing vehicle. This race car allowed Jean Claude Andruet to win the 1981 Tour de France Auto.

This is also the same car that allowed Andruet to grab second place at the European Rally Championship in the same year, despite taking part in only seven races while eventual winner Adartico Vudafieri in his Fiat 131 participated in 15 events. Andruet and the 308 repeated their win at the Tour de France Auto in 1982. It was a classic race as Andruet went head to head against Jean Ragnotti and his R5 Turbo.

As a tribute to this classic race car, Ferrari has wrapped a Ferrari 488 GTB with a livery similar to that of the 308 Gr4 Pioneer. This new livery, created in a collaboration between the Italian sports car maker’s Tailor Made division and Parisian Ferrari dealer Charles Pozzi, features the same color scheme as the iconic 308 Gr4 Pioneer -- the iconic blue and white. Moreover, the Ferrari 488 GTB is specified with wheels that closely resemble those of the iconic 308 308 Gr4 Pioneer.

Many theories came out after pictures of a mystery Ferrari being tested a few weeks ago were released online. There doesn’t seem to be a consensus on what it actually is. Some so-called experts have come out to say that this is the new Ferrari Dino. Let’s consider that for a moment. The Ferrari Dino is a low-cost marque from the Italian automaker that was made to cater to the general public.

It was dubbed as the “poor man’s Ferrari”, however it did not necessarily mean that the Dino was as cheap as any regular sedan. It still possessed the same luster as any old Ferrari would minus the Italian automaker’s badge. There were two lines for the Dino sports cars: the GT model which was produced by Ferrari, and the coupe and spider models that were produced by Fiat which were the cheaper models.

The Dino was named in honor of the founder’s late son, Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, who was the designer of the V6 engine that is being used by the said coupe. The first of its kind, the Ferrari Dino 246 GT, can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 146 mph. Now, Ferrari Dinos are rare and remain to be a popular classic loved by collectors and Ferrari-lovers in general.

We were all suitably impressed when Ferrari flexed its Italian muscle and blew us away with the new 488 GTB. And it’s all good news, the meaty V8 engine sound is back and its bigger and better than before. That rich and exhilarating engine roar is all down to the Wheelsandmore from Germany.

With the new and improved Stage II, the 3,9l V8 engine is edging closer to the power of the F12berlinetta. You can drive in serene silence but who would want to? With the push of the open button on the exhaust valve control, both the coupe and the convertible Ferrari 488 announce their presence with a rich and uncompromising sound.

The Baesweiler experts have improved the software and with an F1 air filter the vehicle achieves an impressive 730 hp and 850 Nm of torque. With an eye on more power it is exciting to learn that a manifold-kit is being developed.
