Component LTD creates white Ferrari 488 Spider fitted with Novitec Rosso parts

A number of tuning companies are making money out of clients who are more than willing to pay just to make their rides capture their taste and preferences. Now, a tuning company from Tel Aviv, Israel that goes by the name of Component LTD has transformed a Ferrari 488 Spider into something that definitely mirrors the wishes of its owner.

Wrapped in a white finish, this ride seems to be an ordinary Ferrari 488 Spider at first look. However, a closer inspection reveals that this Ferrari 488 Spider is fitted with a number of additional components or aftermarket parts. These parts were thoroughly and neatly integrated into this Ferrari 488 Spider that it would be difficult for an untrained eye to distinguish them. In fact, you may even think that these aftermarket parts were originally installed into the Ferrari 488 Spider.

A number of aerodynamic aftermarket parts were sourced from Novitec Rosso. These elements include the front lip, side air intakes and side skirts, as well as rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler. Interestingly, all these parts for the Ferrari 488 Spider were created from carbon fiber. Novitec Rosso was also responsible for the engine bonnet and the multi-piece wheels that were derived from the NF7 series.

Ferrari is launching the 488 Spider this September at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. While we have to wait for its world premier, this car can be viewed at www.ferrari.com with the new Blu Corsa livery. This model is the most powerful mid-rear-engined V8 car. It comes with the patented retractable hard top together with the most advanced technological features and innovative design. Ferrari was the first auto producer to launch the RHT (Retractable Hard Top) on a car that has this specific architecture.

Due to this move, the car is lighter by 25kg and the comfort from inside its cockpit is improved compared to the classic fabric soft-top. Similar to other spider variants, this car is targeted at consumers who want to drive in open air in a high-performance sports car that has the distinctive Ferrari engine sound. The company designed each area of the car to establish new technological benchmarks for the sector.

For instance, this car features aluminium spaceframe chassis and bodyshell for the new turbo-charged V8. It also utilizes aerodynamics that brings together the need for more downforce with decreased drag in conjunction with the specific cabin air flow demands of an open-top car. It has vehicle dynamics that make it highly responsive, quick, and agile.
