The upcoming 2018 New York Auto Show is home to a number of premieres. Some of these are the Lincoln Aviator, 2019 Ford Fusion, Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota Corolla hatchback, and many others. While the hype is huge for these models, there are also those that made their mark albeit in a more subtle way. One of those is the 2018 Fiat 500 Urbana Edition.
In case you were wondering, Urbana is not the new nameplate for the 500 range. That is because it is already used in the 500X and is used by the 500L Trekking. In the newest application, the special edition model gets a black trimmed exterior lights, it then sits in s set of 16 inch “hyper black” aluminum wheels with signature Urbana Edition elements.
Beginning in spring of this year, the Fiat 500 Urbana Edition will be offered in Pompei Silver, Bianco White Ice, Perla White Tri-coat, Granito Gray, and Metallo Gray exterior colours. Fiat recently launched a new limited edition Abarth 595 Tricolore along with the release of two new short films showcasing all the three available colors for the exclusive Tricolore model. This high performance Abarth is priced at £15,150 OTR. Launching the new Tricolores are two new short films titled “The Real Italian Job”, designed to whet viewers’ appetites before the brand showcases the new model at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The two films’ plot follows three Tricolore Abarths, one for each available color for the model, as they crisscross the cities of London and Turin in an attempt to deliver a ‘stolen’ Abarth. Abarth has announced that a limited edition of the 695 biposto Record is now available at a price of £36,610 OTR. While it will be made available worldwide, only 133 units will be manufactured, the same number as the Scorpion brand.
The finish of Record will be in the exclusive 'Modena Yellow' with the 'Tar Cold Grey' trims. However it will also have the standard aluminium bonnet and the ‘695 Record' badge enamelled to its side. Additional features include the Brembo brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Akrapovic exhaust.

The new Fiat 500 1957 Edition Cabrio has been launched in time to celebrate spring and summer. With the introduction of the cabrio version of the popular Fiat 500 1957 Edition (which first came in 2014), the Fiat brand is honouring the history of the Nuova 500.
The Fiat 500c 1957 Edition is available with a premium dual-layer power-operated cloth top, which takes inspiration from the canvas roof on the original Cinquecento. Whether the top is up or down, the driver gets to experience driving pleasure no matter what season it is.
Jason Stoicevich, Head of FIAT Brand for North America, said that the company is continuing to expand this lineup. He also said that with this cabrio version, the brand is adding open-air fun to the legendary Fiat 500 1957 Edition. The special series Fiat 500 GQ – a collaboration between the automaker and Gentlemen's Quarterly – will make its world debut at the Geneva International Motor Show. Gentleman's Car was built with the help of the Gentlemen's Quarterly, a men's magazine that Condé Nast edits, setting the style and culture trends throughout the globe every month.

For the premium market, Fiat has created a Fiat 500C tribute special edition for Maserati under the Abarth brand. This is targeting the same segment as the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari. At the Geneva Motor Show, Abarth will display the Abarth 695 Tribute Maserati. Only 499 examples of the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati will be built.
It is powered by a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16v engine with 180 HP (132 kW) and comes with an electrically-operated manual Abarth Competizione gearbox with steering wheel paddles. Its exhaust has been installed with a "Record Monza" variable back-pressure "dual mode" volume control system with hexagonal shaped tips.

The Fiat 500 "First Edition" that’s built exclusively for the Chinese market will feature the graphics of five young Chinese designers. Only 100 samples will be built of this model. Based on the 500 Lounge, the "First Edition" was introduced in Shanghai on July 13.
All customers who order a Fiat 500 starting that day until September 15 will get a chance at a final draw to have the car they ordered replaced with a Fiat 500 "First Edition".

At the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) 35th Anniversary Gala, Fiat’s North American division had successfully auctioned off the Cinquecento “Prima Edizione,” a limited edition of the 500 model, for $69,000. The auction will benefit the NIAF’s education and scholarship program.
