The new presenter of BT Sport’s MotoGP TV coverage, Melanie Sykes, has received her new Abarth 500c. Sykes has previously owned a Fiat 500 and was seeking a new one. However, she likes her new convertible to have an added boost. In short, she wants a new convertible that features the performance of an Abarth 500, which could deliver up to 14bhp.
“Having owned the Fiat 500C before, I knew I wanted to go back into a convertible, but I also had my eye on an Abarth,” Sykes said. “So when Abarth told me there was 500C version, I was really excited. And just look at it – it’s fabulous.” The Abarth 500C features a soft top that is endowed with refined electric linkage and quality engineering solutions like the foldaway glass rear window and the built-in high mounted stop light.
The Abarth 500C also features Abarth’s Competizione five-speed automated manual gearbox that enables drivers to change gear using paddles mounted behind the steering wheel.
