2011 SEMA Preview: Lexus CT 200h by Five Axis

Besides the GS F Sport project, Five Axis also wanted to show us that the smaller Lexus CT 200h can also be modified and revealed the first photos with the new vehicle which will be introduced next week at the 2011 SEMA Show. The new Lexus CT 200h comes with a completely new body kit, featuring a new front bumper, new side sills and a sick rear bumper with integrated exhaust system.The car also comes with a new paint, the JDSU ‘Dark Passage’.

Moreover, the design is completed by the custom 19-inch Five:AD forged wheels, wrapped in high performance Yokohama Advan Sport tires. 

Behind these tires we find the Stop Tech high performance brake kit as well as a new Tein Flex coilover suspension system. Inside, the car features uniquely appointed seats with laser etched ultrasuede ecodesign inserts, custom illuminated headlinder, upholstery by Turinmodel, custom touchscreen interface center console and 3M Crystalline window film by The Tint Factory.

2011 Lexus CT200h by Five Axis coming to the Chicago Auto Show

Expect the Lexus to show off its wild side at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show where the carmaker has a 20,000-square-foot exhibit filled with displays of its high-performance products. Lexus will be highlighting sporty accessories and incredible horsepower.

Paul Rohovsky, National Manager of Events and Promotions at Lexus, said that Lexus has been the top luxury brand for over a decade due to its refined sedans and SUVs but he believes the company has so much more to offer. He said that Lexus brings new excitement to the brand with vehicles such as the LFA supercar and youthful Lexus CT 200h entry-luxury hybrid.

Its F Sport accessories give customers the opportunity to boost the performance on several vehicles. One of the head turners in the exhibit is the inspirational and aspirational 552-horsepower V10 LFA supercar.

SEMA debut for the Lexus GS 460 by Five Axis

Lexus will be showcasing at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas an array of new project cars, dressed-up IS F high-performance sedan and its F-Sport line of performance accessories. Brian Bolain, Lexus national engagement marketing manager, quipped that Lexus is following up on the introduction of the IS F last year with the unveiling of the F-Sport line of performance accessories for the IS 250/350.

He noted that based from the market's overall response, there was some pent-up demand for such accessories. One of those new project cars is an interpretation of the Lexus GS 460 by Five Axis, the same firm responsible for the Project IS F that was a huge hit at last year’s SEMA.

For this year, Five Axis has chosen the Lexus GS 460 to create the Project GS, which will have its debut inside the Lexus SEMA booth on November 4. Designer Troy Sumitomo will be present to discuss the Project GS.

2008 SEMA Show: Toyota Venza AS V by Five Axis

The specially modified show vehicle, the 2009 Toyota Venza by Five Axis will demonstrate its versatility on its first public appearance at the 2008 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show from November 4 to 7 in Las Vegas.

Created to demonstrate the versatile applications of the new 2009 Toyota Venza with a focus on active sports is the Five Axis Venza Active Sports Versatility (AS V).

The 2009 Venza is equipped with features that meet the special requirements for the transport and storage of different kinds of winter sports equipment.

After the Lexus GS460 and the Toyota Venza AS V, Five Axis brought another vehicle at the SEMA Show: the Toyota Yaris Club Concept, a tribute to the Toyota 7 that challenged the Group 7 category of Can-Am racing back in 1960s.

As you can see the car has been seriously customized as it follows: the roof was totally removed and the windshield lowered, the interior was removed too as well as the passenger seat, a tonneau (a bed cover for a pickup truck) was added as well as a driver headrest.

Also a new body kit was installed consisting in a front and rear Toyota JDM Vitz RS bumpers, a rear taillight and fog light as well as a Toyota Vitz front bumper cover.
