Hartge offers modification kit for BMW X6

The tuning experts at Hartge have created a modification package for the BMW X6. Hartge gave the SAV a technical upgrade, a new set of rims, and numerous interior changes. The modification package is actually a previous release but the tuner has put in a new engine upgrade.

Hartge modified the X6 xDrive 4.0d’s ECU software, raising the power from 306 hp to 345 hp and the torque from 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) to 700 Nm (516 lb-ft).

With this powerplant, the SAV’s 0 to 62 mph sprint is 0.6 seconds faster than the stock one. The top speed is boosted to 248 km/h (154 mph), a 12 km/h (7 mph) faster than the stock model.

2010 Bmw X1 by Hartge

Hartge has recently launched its latest tuning program for the 1.8 and 2.0-litre versions of the BMW X1. Hartge’s team of tuning experts has made updates to the interior of the car as well as its performance.

The team tweaked the 18d engine, adding 36 hp to reach 179 hp at 4000 rpm from an output of 143 hp. The maximum torque was also increased to 350 Nm available at 2000 rpm.

This boosts the sDrive18d to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds -- about 1.5 seconds faster than the standard version. Its top speed was also raised to 217 km/h (17 km/h faster than the standard model). Meanwhile, the xDrive20d offers 32 hp more than its standard version.

Hartge upgrades the Bmw X6 xDrive35d

A new car, the Bmw X6 xDrive35d, was created when Herbert Hartge and his crew combined a four-wheel-drive car from the SAV segment and a coupe. The German tuning specialist improved the already powerful diesel unit with a twin turbo to currently produce 241kW (328hp) at 4400 rpm and a maximum torque of 675Nm at 2000rpm.

Simultaneously, CO2 emissions is 220g/km, well within limits for such a potent machine. The X6 xDrive35d consumes half a liter less per 100 kilometers compared with rivals in a comparable situation.

The performance numbers are also quite remarkable, in spite of its heavy 2,185kg overall weight, I can hit 100km/h in just 6 seconds, about .9 seconds faster than the standard xDrive35d. Without electronic limiter, the HARTGE version hits the 256km/h top speed. Harmonizing with the power hidden under the sheet is the HARTGE aerodynamic package in high grade PUR-RIM material.

Official: 2009 Bmw X5 E70 by Hartge

HARTGE is aiming for elegant and tasteful styling as opposed to extravagance in its version of the X5 xDrive35d. The car's exterior is composed of clear lines. Right away, a glance at the model gives an impression of harmony, from the front spoiler, the diffuser-like rear skirt and the two-part side sills in PUR-RIM. The car also comes with a ABE homologation (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis - ABE).

The X5 does not look like a SUV due to the HARTGE sports spring set with level control system for the rear axle, which lowers the vehicle by up to 30 mm.

Adding to this impression is the set of 'BRILLANT CLASSIC 2' wheels. These 22-inch rims for ultra-wide tires - 295/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear - are the ideal match for the sporting four-wheel drive car with appropriate HARTGE emblems.
