Infiniti has just given the 2018 Q50 an upgrade - making it look fresher with a modern twist inside and out. The company had also given the sedan their ProPilot autonomous driving technology. With all the upgrades, we should not be surprised that the 2018 Infiniti Q50 gets a price hike too - now starting at $34,200 excluding the $905 destination and handling fee.
Under the hood of the updated model is the same engine you will find from the 2017 model. The entry level 2.0t Pure still gets a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that generates 208 horsepower (155 kilowatts). The 2018 model costs $250 higher than the previous generation. Customers can go for an all-wheel drive option for an additional $2,000.
What comes after the base model would be the Q50 2.0t Luxe, previously known as the Premium trim. It still gets the same 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, but is pricier at $36,550, or $38,550 for the all-wheel drive option. The AWD Luxe is the most expensive 2.0 liter variant that one could get. Next in line is the beefier Q50 3.0t Luxe, with a 3.0 liter turbocharged engine generating 300 horsepower (223 kilowatts). Infiniti has recently revealed the pricing for the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Premium and the 2016 Infiniti Q50 2.0t. The models can now be availed in the country starting at $47,050 and $33,950 respectively (MSRP excludes applicable tax, title, license and destination & handling fees of $905). Infiniti's best-seller, the Infiniti Q50 sports sedan, has received a number of tweaks.
Modifications include the addition of three new turbocharged engines and an array of new technologies that further improve the strong dynamics of the top-selling sedan. The 2016 Infiniti Q50 is offered in a wide range of trim levels, each of which comes in choices of rear-wheel and all-wheel drive technologies.
Trim levels include the Q50 2.0t, Q50 2.0t Premium, Q50 3.0t Premium, Q50 Hybrid Premium, Q50 3.0t Sport, and Q50 Red Sport 400. The pricing for the 3.0-liter-V6 twin-turbo-equipped 3.0t and the Red Sport 400 has yet to be announced. The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept made quite a buzz and the company looks determined to build a this new sports sedan. According to Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen, a production version of the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept will cost around $100,000 and will be sold in low volume, between 250-500 units a year.
The new Infiniti will not be a rival for the BMW M3, as it is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that develops 560 hp. This is the same engine used by the Nissan GT-R, bolted to a seven-speed transmission which delivers the power to the road via an all-wheel drive system.

The new Infiniti Q50 is now available to order at entry-level price of just £27,950. The entry-level Q50 2.2 diesel, which starts from £27,950, is powered by a four-cylinder engine that provides 170PS of output and 400Nm of torque and emits only 115g/km of carbon dioxide. Coming as standard for the well-equipped Infiniti Q50 2.2d are Infiniti InTouch customizable digital environment with dual touch-screens; Infiniti Drive Mode Selector; engine stop-start; rear-view camera.
It also features Active Noise Control; Active Trace Control; dual-zone climate control; 17-inch alloy wheels; Scratch Shield paint. Infiniti announced that the 2014 Q50 sports sedan powered by a 3.7-liter V6, with RWD will start at $36,700. For the AWD version, customers have to pay $38,500. The 2014 Infiniti Q50 3.7 Premium you will need to pay $39,550 for the RWD version and $41,350 for the AWD model. The Q50S 3.7 (RWD) costs $43,200 while the AWD version comes with a $45,000 price tag.

After revealing the coupe version of the 2019 BMW 8 Series, the German premium carmaker is introducing its convertible version. The 2019 BMW 8 Series Convertible is essentially the Coupe with its roof chopped off, with some modifications made to make way for its electrically folding soft top. BMW will unveil the new 8 Series Convertible to the global public at the Los Angeles Auto Show this month.
In terms of appearance, the 2019 BMW 8 Series Convertible is almost identical to the 8 Series Coupe, aside from the fact that the latter’s hard top has been removed and replaced by an electrically folding soft top. This top can be fully deployed in just 15 seconds at speeds of up to 30 mph (48 km/h). It takes the same amount of time and vehicle speed to remove the soft top down.
Once the soft is down, it is stowed underneath a rear deck which stitching is matched to the instrument panel and door panels. More than a year after introducing the widely acclaimed ATS GT prototype at the at the luxurious Salon Privé exhibit, Automobili Turismo e Sport (ATS) has finally presented the final and production version of the supercar – the new ATS GT Launch Edition -- at the prestigious 2018 Monterey Car Week at The Quail.
The ATS GT Launch Edition takes inspiration from the 1964 ATS 2500 GT, a small coupe designed by Franco Scaglione, developed by ATS co-founders Giotto Bizzarrini and Carlo Chiti, and built more than 50 years ago. Back then, ATS only built 12 examples of the 2500 GT. As it seeks to honor the original model, ATS is also building 12 examples of the new GT Launch Edition.
Designed by ATS chief designer Emanuele Bomboi, the new ATS GT Launch Edition boasts of an aerodynamic bodywork -- made of carbon fiber – that reinterprets the original design of the 2500 GT. It features unique side-blades and seemingly floating rear lights. These rear lights are designed to extract the hot air from the engine bay. Porsche’s main reason for not offering a hybrid version of the 911 is that the German company still doesn’t believe that the current battery technology is on par with its expectations for its venerated sports car. But with the rapid pace that the battery technology is growing, that could happen in the next few years. Porsche chief executive Oliver Blume had said that a 911 hybrid may arrive on the mid-cycle refresh of the 992 generation, which should happen by around 2022 or so.

Amos’ pet project employs the chassis of the 1989 Lancia Delta Integrale as the base. From there, the company worked to make the Delta Futurista stay faithful Lancia heritage in terms of overall. When the seventh-generation 2019 Lexus ES was unveiled in China in April, the all-new premium sedan managed to draw attention from customers around the world. Acura is rolling out this month the latest iteration of its mid-size three-row luxury sports utility vehicle – the 2019 Acura MDX. The sixth installment of Acura’s third-generation luxury SUV, the 2019 MDX boasts of enhancements in drivability and interior fitment as well as availability of new premium exterior colors and an A-Spec sport appearance package.
For the 2019 model year, the Acura MDX is still powered by a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine that delivers 290 hp of max output and 267 lb.-ft. of peak torque. As standard, the MDX comes as a front-wheel drive unit, although it could also be availed in SH-AWD (Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive) configuration.
