Hong Kong gets its second Lamborghini Centenario Coupe in Lime Green

Many of us know that Hong Kong is one of the most expensive cities in the world, but we don’t often see a lot of supercars in the country, or maybe we just don’t hear about them. Recently, one of just 40 examples of the Lamborghini Centenario had just been spotted in Hong Kong.

As we know, the said model will only have a limited run - that includes 20 coupes and 20 convertibles, where each one starts at $1.9 million. In the past few months, we have seen over 10 examples that have been delivered across the globe. The very first one, finished in a beautiful carbon fiber and blue trimmed bull, was delivered to Lamborghini Newport Beach in California, USA. We also heard about the orange-trimmed Centenario that showed up at H.R. Owen in London.

As mentioned earlier, one of the Centenarios has just landed in Hong Kong. As if being one of 40 is not rare enough, the coupe becomes even more exclusive in its Verde Bronto bright green exterior that has been given a matte finish for a standout look. To make it look more stylish, it had been given some carbon fiber trim, and there are gold carbon fiber accents on the roof, engine cover, side mirrors, rear wing, the lower body and the wheels for some contrast. What’s more is that the gold accenting is scattered through the cabin for added luxury.

First Lamborghini Centenario Roadster heads to the United States

Last month, the Lamborghini Centenario made its way to the Transformers: The Last Knight premiere where it got the attention of many. Following that event, three Lamborghini Centenario coupes landed on the US soil. One of them made its way to Lamborghini Newport Beach, while the two went straight to Beverly Hills and New Jersey, respectively. And this week, another Centenario arrives, but as a drop top.

We are aware that only a total of 40 units of the Centenario will be produced - 20 roadsters and 20 coupes. Last week, Lamborghini Beverly Hills took one of the 20 Centenario Roadsters. Similar to the coupe, the limited-edition roadster has a V12 engine that produces 759 horsepower (565 kilowatts). The most common colour scheme for the roadster would be the one on the photo, a bare carbon fiber finish with yellow accents, paired with silver wheels and black brake calipers.

To complement the exterior finish, the roadster's interior has been finished with Black Nero Ade leather and Alcantara throughout, accented with yellow piping and stitching on the seats. The steering wheel and the dashboard also get yellow embroidery. As standard with all Lamborghini vehicles, the company's logo is stitched on the headrests.

Two new Lamborghini Centenarios have landed on US soil

Enthusiasts know that in the automotive world, beauty (and power) always comes with a price – a very big price, at that. The Lamborghini Centenario is an example. Considering its beauty and power, the Centenario has a right for an expensive price tag. It gets more expensive when you factor in its exclusivity as only 40 examples will be available worldwide. Twenty units of this exclusive hypercar come as coupes, while the other twenty are convertibles. Come to think of it, with its price and a limited number of units available [worldwide], it will be quite rare to spot any one of these in just any ordinary neighborhood.

Last May, we’ve learned of the whereabouts of one Centenario, which is apparently flaunting its stunning bare carbon fiber exterior featuring blue accents in California – and our first time to spot the car not in is usual carbon fiber and yellow finish. Now, just a few weeks from this first sighting, two more examples have been spotted in the stateside. Photos of the said vehicles have already circulated online, leaving us jaw-slacked by its beauty.

The first of the latest two examples comes in Nuovo Giallo Orion yellow finish with carbon fiber accents – yet again, forgoing its usual carbon fiber body. The said majestic creation landed into U.S. soil just a few months after the first sighting, and it was delivered fresh to Lamborghini Beverly Hills to await its owner.

Lamborghini Centenario is put on display at London dealership, set for delivery to HR Owen

A few months ago, Lamborghini introduced the Centenario supercar. Since then, only eight units of the model were brought out by the company. And if you remember, we’ve already seen three of those examples: where the first one wore a combination of orange and black finish, the second one wearing a classic yellow and carbon fiber finish, and the third had a carbon fiber body though Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, finished with blue accents - this one was a U.S. example.

This supercar, based on the Aventador, has been eagerly anticipated. To make everybody aware, the Centenario celebrates Lamborghini founder, Ferriccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. Having only 40 models built worldwide, 20 of those will be coupes, and the other 20 will be roadsters.

Each and every unit of the Centenario does have its own character, but we would say that the eighth one is the most unique of them all. Leading luxury dealer group, H.R. Owen has welcomed the supercar at its most famous Lamborghini London dealership on Saturday 27 May. What makes this Centenario unique from its other counterparts is that it wears a bare carbon fiber exterior combined with orange accents all over the body. This is currently the only example with this exclusive finish, and is the first of its kind in the U.K., making it a truly unique piece.

The Italian sports car Lamborghini revealed the first ever magnificent Centenario around the year 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show. And even though the Lamborghini Aventador SV and Centenario have a brooding similarity when it comes to performance, the Centenario was pretty much still a hit to loyal Lamborghini fans and car enthusiasts worldwide. Now a Lamborghini Centenario has arrived in the U.S., particularly at Newport Beach located in Costa Mesa, California. While it is the first ever Centenario to step on American land, it won’t be the last.

Largely based on the Lamborghini Aventador SV, the dashing Centenario utilizes the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 that will produce around 759hP (565 kW) and pure 508 lb-ft (688 Newton Meters) of torque, allowing the sports car to reach around 60 miles per hour (96 km per hours) needing only 2.8 seconds to do the job. Nevertheless, the top speed of the Centenario is limited to around 217 mph (349 kmh). The said horsepower is only 20hp more powerful than its predecessor, but the Centenario is considered a tad lighter due to its carbon fiber body. The Centenario weighs at an estimated 3,350 lbs (1,519 kg).

The Italian automaker claimed that performance-wise, the Centenario is more dominant compared to SV but not on a large scale. Only 40 units of the Lamborghini Centenario worth around $1.9 million each will be manufactured and sold globally. Specifically, there will be 20 coupes and 20 convertibles produced to celebrate the 100th birthday of founder Ferrucio Lamborghini, who was born on April 28, 1916. The swanky sports car that was delivered in the US flaunted its awesome bare carbon fiber exterior paired with blue accents to contrast its dark paint.

Lamborghini has begun handing over the Centenarios to their rightful owners in different parts of the world. Last month, the first out of the forty Aventador-based Centenario has been delivered to an affluent car collector all the way to the UAE. There is also the menacing matte black Lamborghini Centenario that was being transported in Germany a few days ago. And very recently, a matte white Centenario has made its way to Paris!

The white Lamborghini in the video is believed to belong to a certain Qatari Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani. By far, the matte white finish is the most extraordinary paint scheme of all that has been delivered.

While the Centenario model that was put by Lamborghini at the show stands last year come in carbon fiber finish with yellow accents, this one generally comes in matte white body paint. But in many ways, it happens to express a different character since it also comes with contrasting color scheme.

The first example of the most powerful and very exclusive Lamborghini has just been delivered to the model’s first owner. Yes, we are talking about the new Lamborghini Centenario, a special edition model that celebrates the 100th year birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini, founder of the illustrious Italian sports car manufacturer.

Wrapped in a beautiful combination of black and orange exterior color finishes, this very first Centenario (in coupe version) was delivered to its new owner from the United Arab Emirates. This wealthy customer – one who is really rich to buy a new Lamborghini Centenario as it has a starting price of around EUR1.75 million or $1.9 million – is one of the 40 lucky new owners of this very exclusive sports car from Italy. Despite its price and because of its ultra-exclusive nature, Lamborghini has already pre-sold all examples of the Centenario – 20 coupes and 20 roadsters – even before the Italian sports car maker has formally announced its existence.

As a special model that celebrates nothing less than the birth of the company’s beloved founder, the Lamborghini Centenario has been designed to be very fast and very quick. Its core is played by a stunning naturally aspirated V12 engine that has been tuned to deliver as much as 770 horsepower (574 kilowatts) of output and up to 509 pound-feet (690 Newton-meters) of torque.

Lamborghini has always been known to be the home to exotic supercars. The Italian automaker’s production facilities have hosted uniquely designed and powerful show-stopping supercars. It all started with the Lamborghini Miura which was unveiled at the 1966 Geneva Motor show and since then, many more have been created to stun the world.

Although there have been a few misses in the past, Lamborghini was still able to show that they can still dominate the exotic and supercar market. This year, they released yet again another one of their limited edition supercars and this time, they built an ode to their founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. It is the best tribute to its founder’s 100th birthday embodying a world-class legendary quality.

The Centenario is as monstrous as a Lamborghini can be. At the heart of this beast is a V12 engine that gives the car a maximum power of 770 horsepower, making it another valuable member of the supercar family. It comes with aggressive detailing featuring some outrageous diffuser strakes, the most outrageous ones that have been fitted on a road car.

The Lamborghini Centenario is a limited edition masterpiece from one of the most celebrated automakers of all time. This supercar was mainly created to commemorate the 100th birthday of Lamborghini’s founder, Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini, and was first introduced to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March of this year.

Only forty units have been produced for this stunning Lambo, twenty of which are coupes and the other half, roadsters. All of which have already been sold out amounting to at least $1.9 million each. It’s sad news for everyone of us who will not get to drive these forty bad boys but on a lighter note, thanks to technology, we’ll at least have a glimpse of its potential.

A few months back, a video was shared over the internet featuring the elusive special Lambo. The said Centenario was seen up and about the streets outside of the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata in Bolognese, Italy. Although its full capability was not shown in the video (that is, just the normal driving conditions in public roads), we get a little teaser of the 6.2-liter V12’s hum.

2016 is a special year for Automobili Lamborghini as this year would have been the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini, founder of the illustrious Italian Sports car manufacturer. In honor of the late founder, Automobili Lamborghini recently unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show the ultra exclusive, ultra powerful Lamborghini Centenario.

The new Lamborghini Centenario is certainly fast, but that’s not so surprising when one considers the V12 naturally aspirated engine powering this supercar. The V12 engine delivers 770 hp which propels the amazing car to a breathtaking acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and it reaches 0- 300 km/h in a short 23.5 seconds until the Lamborghini masterpiece achieves its maximum speed of 350 km/h. Yes, it is that fast that one would be forgiven if one thinks it’s a spaceship on wheels as it zips by in a blur. Yet the analogy might not be totally off given the car is extremely light, achieved by a fusion of high-tech monocoque design fully done in carbon fiber resulting to a very low weight of 1,520 kg. With a small weight to power ratio of only 1.97 kg/hp, the supercar can’t help but almost fly down the road. And yet, taming this speedy beast is relatively easy; the car brakes from a fast 100 km/h to a complete standstill in a short 30 meters.

Ensuring that the supercar stays on the road is its aerodynamic design which includes the extending rear wing gluing the car to the road with its downforce at high speeds. Additional stability and agility is made possible by the rear-wheel steering system. The supercar is also occupant-friendly, with a host of top-of-the-line convenience features such as the touchscreen controlled infotainment system, internet browsing capability and the Apple CarPlay.
