CEO of Parklane Car Rental owns the hottest purple Lamborghini Huracan by RevoZport in Dubai

Most, if not all cars, can be tuned one way or another to cater to the customer’s liking. But some cars, like the Lamborghini Huracan, have way more potential when it comes to tuning - and we’re not just talking about tuning it visually, but also mechanically.

It’s not surprising then that with all the attention it attracts, Japanese tuner Liberty Walk and Underground Racing had both worked on the Lamborghini Huracan in the past to give it an extra oomph. The former worked on the supercar’s new body kit while the latter took care of its powerhouse, unlocking the Huracan’s capacity to an unimaginable 2,300 horsepower.

The odd thing is that the owner of the car, a young lady, only asked for a car that would stick out among all the other amazing cars in Dubai. She took the car to RevoZport, who then added Razmig active aerodynamic components to the supercar. It came back to her with an impressive amount of power, indeed making it stand out amongst every other car or supercar in Dubai.

Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder arrives in style

Exactly one year ago on March 6th, Lamborghini decided to finally reveal the Huracan Performance at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. This year, the automaker decided to get rid of the coupe’s roof for the same event that is held yearly in Switzerland. The Spyder pretty much has everything you would want in the fixed roof model, but only this model can pull off this type of body style, with the open top.

Even with the company’s same Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA), the soft top Spyder has not been hampered in any way. The reason for the ALA is for it to create the sleekest body possible and consequently boost performance. The droptop Huracan also borrowed the coupe’s revised four-wheel drive system, along with an upgraded suspension and the optimized stability control.

Aside from that, Lamborghini’s engineers gave the droptop a lot of forged carbon fiber bits to cut down a total of 35 kilograms (77 pounds) over the standard Huracan Spyder, while also fiddling with its steering. The model now weighs 1,507 kilograms (3,322 pounds) when dry - distributed 43:57 front/rear. The fabric roof can then be lowered at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour (50 kilometers per hour).

For Sale: Louis Vuitton Supreme-wrapped Ferrari F12 owned by the son of an Emirati billionaire

A couple of months ago, some kid from Dubai called Rashed Belhasa, the son of a billionaire construction tycoon, got himself an expensive Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. He then decided he would have it wrapped in his favourite design - a Louis Vuitton x Supreme pattern. It seems like he has lost interest in his car already, and he now decided to put the Italian supercar up for sale.

The fifteen year old, who goes by the handle “Money Kicks” on YouTube, earned millions of followers on social media for it. Under its hood is a twelve cylinder engine.

Last summer, he actually made the headlines on most auto blogs when he showed off this model, coated in a red wrap to match his Louis Vuitton x Supreme shoes (and bags). This definitely is a head turner especially with all the hype this collaboration is getting. As he is still not at the right age to drive, he hired himself a chauffeur to drive him around.

ARES Design Project Panther is a modern-day De Tomaso Pantera based on Lamborghini Huracan

In addition to revealing the first images, ARES Design also released new information on its upcoming supercar dubbed as “Project Panther.” The company is aiming for this new model to be a more contemporary version of the De Tomaso Pantera.

De Tomaso Pantera was a mid-engined sports model released between 1971 and 1992. The name comes from the Italian word for “Panther” and was the most popular model of Italy’s De Tomaso company. At least 7,000 units have been released over its 20-year run.

That ARES Design is coming out with its own version of the Pantera is not surprising especially to those who are familiar with its founder and CEO Dany Bahar. Swiss businessman Bahar is well known in the automotive industry for his rather controversial stint as the CEO of Lotus. Bahar had been with Red Bull prior to leading Lotus.

Dubai is one of the few countries where expensive cars are the norm, many of which are specially modified as well. And this just in: Bentley has debuted the new Grand Convertible by Mulliner in Dubai without much fanfare. The said model is housed in Bentley’s largest showroom, and it currently sits beside other members of the family like the Mulsanne, one standard version with another one having the extended wheelbase. Crewe’s latest project may sound familiar to others, and this is because it has already made its debut in November 2014 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

But don’t get me wrong, the one from 2014 was a concept, which was based on the Mulsanne version, minus the roof. On the other hand, the two-tone example that’s sitting in Dubai right now is a production model that started out in life as a Mulsanne Speed before losing its roof, which was also shortened by a few centimeters - 10cm (3.9 inches) to be exact. Its body has been finished with a predominant Moroccan Blue paint, contrasted with a Frosted Silver finish up front, on the hood. This surrounds the imposing grille as well as the windscreen frame.

But that’s not what the production model boasts of. Apart from the stylish body, it has a large piece of wood applied onto the rear deck like that of the concept we saw in 2014. Shmee says that this must be the largest piece of wood that has been installed on a car ever, and this particular one even comes with metallic fins.

Lamborghini had been expected to refresh its entry-level model – the Lamborghini Huracan – in late 2018 or early 2019. But here is some good news for fans of the Lamborghini Huracan: the new sports car would be updated beyond just a typical refresh.

According to a report by Car and Driver, citing a senior engineer at Lamborghini, the Italian carmaker plans to give the 2019 Huracan a rear-wheel steering capability as well as a higher voltage electrical subsystem. These updates should improve the Huracan’s capabilities for greater levels of on-the-road performance.

The first of the updates involves having the new Lamborghini Huracan adopt a rear-wheel steering system from its larger sibling, the Lamborghini Aventador S. In the Aventador S, this rear-wheel steering system managed to reduce its wide, truck-like footprint to that of smaller sports car.

A super-mighty hypercar like the Devel Sixteen – boasting of a 5,000-hp engine as its crowning glory – is surely hard to miss and forget. But it seems that just as people have already begun to forget about the Devel Sixteen, the hellish hypercar is making a much-needed reappearance at the upcoming 2017 Dubai Motor Show.

The Devel Sixteen actually made its debut as a concept car at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. It is a creation of designer Majid Al Attar, who called the Devel Sixteen as the most powerful vehicle ever built, combining power, technology and sophistication. At first glance, the Devel Sixteen looks like a fusion between the Lamborghini Veneno and the Lamborghini Egoisa. Deep inside, however, the Devel Sixteen is several times more powerful than both Lamborghini supercars combined.

On paper, the Devel Sixteen is a sophisticated demon that is powered by a 12.3-liter quad-turbo V16 engine that could deliver around 5,000 hp (3,728 kW) of nerve-wracking output. That would be equivalent to the power of around 10 supercars, or, more accurately five examples of McLaren P1. But there have been questions whether a real Devel Sixteen -- or at least a running prototype -- exists.

Starting this month, the Uber Service in Dubai will begin to offer the new Tesla Model S or Model X to bring passengers to their destination. This comes as Uber entered into a partnership with Dubai Taxi Corporation to become the company’s exclusive ride-hailing partner for its fleet of luxury electric vehicles.

Earlier this year, Tesla inked a deal to deliver 200 units of the Model S sedan and Model X SUV – all ‘fully self-driving-capability’ to Dubai Taxi. The taxi company took delivery of 50 of these Tesla vehicles in September and is now readying them for public use. To this regard, Dubai Taxi entered into a partnership with Uber, which will deploy these 50 new Tesla vehicles under UberONE service in Dubai.

This means that riders across Dubai now have the chance to request a Tesla Model S or Model X from their smartphones. The service could be accessed just by downloading the Uber app and selecting the UberOne option.

Oh, can you say that again? There’s a “used” Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta with 0 km mileage and with a listed price of $7,349,400. Okay, so let’s just round that off to 7.35 million USD or 27 million dirhams to be exact. Too much or just right? You be the judge. While Ferrari hadn’t officially revealed the Aperta’s unit price, it’s believed each came with a $3.9 million price tag. The only problem if you’re a true fan and are loaded is that all examples were sold out even before it was officially launched. If you were one of those who didn’t make the cut, you have to bear the higher price margin set by certain dealers or former owners.

James Edition, the world’s luxury marketplace, has recently posted this LaFerrari Aperta in Rossa Corsa body pain offered by a premium seller based in Dubai. For those who missed out on obtaining the fastest open-top Ferrari ever built, you should know that the dealership in UAE is under the name of GTR Motors and is located in Al Aweer New Auto Market Block 2, Showroom Number 18.

Spec details show a 2017 year model LaFerrari Aperta with 8 cylinder engine, automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive drivetrain. The left-hand drive cabriolet is also featuring Ferrari’s iconic red paint job with black interior. While the description said it is “used” and the odometer shows otherwise, it could only mean that its first owner had bought it for “investment” purposes.

What could be a bad day for a young man? Crashing a Lamborghini Huracan would be. What could be worse? The Lamborghini Huracan isn’t his.

According to a report by Q13 Fox, a 23-year old man in Edmonds, Washington, crashed a rented Lamborghini Huracan onto another vehicle. While the one who rented the supercar was his brother – for a family event in Edmonds -- this careless driver thought it was okay to play with the law.

Around 11:30 pm of August 13, 2017, police officers tapped to patrol the Taste of Edmonds festival saw a female passenger holding a beer while leaning out of the passenger window of a white Lamborghini Huracan. This prompted the police officers to attempt pulling over the Huracan. Unfazed initially, police officers tried to pursue the Huracan. Unfortunately for them, the white Huracan proved to be too fast to be caught up, so police officers gave up the chase, citing speed and safety reasons. However, what ultimately stopped the white Huracan weren’t police officers but an accident some time later.

While combining retro with contemporary styling cues can sometimes not work out so well, this Lamborghini Huracan with Vossen forged wheels prove it all wrong. To start off, the iconic supercar has been fitted with Vossen’s LC-103, making it very much like a modern version of the Countach with a phone dial–inspired wheel design. The LC-103 has a starting price of $1,300 each and is offered in several different sizes.

In this particular Lambo, Vossen uses a single piece monoblock forged alloy wheels in rose gold finish with five rounded holes and polished details. These are nothing like we’ve seen before except those on the classic Lamborghini Countachs of the eighties.

According to the design details on their website, the Vossen Forged LC-103 wheel and Lip concept series aims to emulate the transition of multi-piece wheel while incorporating the forged aluminum’s single piece monoblock construction at the same time. The finishing options are done at Vossen’s very own, state of the art finishing facilities that produce only the best quality finishes.

We have seen some pretty cool taxis around before. They may not be common, but we know they exist. It might be a retro Cadillac, perhaps an open-top Range Rover Evoque, or a Ford Crown Victoria. And now, the Lamborghini Huracan? Yup, it is now the world’s fastest taxi.

The Huracan has a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with a maximum power output of 610 horsepower and a maximum torque of 560 Newton-metres. In just 3.8 seconds, it can run from 0-100 kilometers per hour, with a top speed of 322 kph.

Now, how is this possible, you ask? A UK-based taxi company called Handsome Cabs was able to receive a license from their local council to run a Lamborghini Huracan as a taxi, for restricted use only. So Lincoln residents can finally hire the supercar to get to the mall, parties, prom night, business meeting, and other special occasions. However, it is more likely that residents would hire the car for special events only as it will probably be a little pricey.

Sorry Uber, but Handsome Cabs taxi company has something no one else can offer - a Lamborghini Huracan that can take their clients from Point A to Point B. This has been made official after the City of Lincoln Council granted a cab license to the Huracan, to make it available for hire if local residents wish to.

The two-door coupe is one of the first supercars to ever be granted a cab license - not just in the UK, but probably elsewhere in the world. This allows customers to order the Huracan for a trip to the train station, the shops, or any mundane errand. But what will be more practical is renting out the Lambo for weddings, business trips, or special occasions.

Handsome Cabs taxi is owned by John Bishop of West Lindsey, and his partner Jamal Parvez. The partners thought it would be something different, and that it would help their company stand out from the rest. They did mention that their target market would mostly be students going to and from proms, and of course, business people going to functions. “We had the idea about a year or so ago, and since then we’ve been determined to make it work”, said Bishop.

Lamborghini has been saying for a long time that it is aiming to boost up the production of its supercars, but only recently the Italian sports car producer has made the 8,000th Huracan. This is highly commendable as it took Lamborghini only 3 years to reach this milestone. The Italian automaker sure is in a rush to roll them out, and when the Urus joins the line-up, one might chance upon a Wild Bull on every corner globally.

The aforementioned 8,000th vehicle is a Huracan Spyder that is sporting a Grigio Lynx gray. It will be delivered to a customer based in the United Kingdom. The Italian automaker is now celebrating the 8,000th unit of the Huracan that is rolled out of the assembly line in Sant'Agata Bolognese, just 3 years after the Huracan's introduction, another milestone in the 54-year-old history of the Italian automaker. Interested Huracan consumers will be offered a range of choices when deciding on which version of the super car to purchase.

The LP 610-4 is a unit that a daring driver can take on every season with its impressive all-wheel system and hardtop. Drivers who prefer a conventional vehicle can choose the 580-2 rear wheel drive. Moreover, if you are the person who opts to drop the top for an open-air experience at high speed, then the Spyder models will be the perfect pick for such. Sitting at the top of the tier is the superb Huracan Performante.

While the BMW M3 is making some noise in Abu Dhabi with its San Marino Blue outfit, Porsche on the other hand, is catching people’s attention in Dubai as the 918 Spyder wears bright red livery. The reason why this model is turning heads is because Porsche isn’t known to give their cars distinct, bright livery unlike its competitors.

This shade of red might be common for a Ferrari, but definitely not for a Porsche - and there are only a few of them. In fact, this specific model is actually being sold by Deals on Wheels in Dubai. Another thing about this example is that even the carbon fiber roof has been painted red, instead of retaining its carbon fiber finish.

Not only is this Spyder looking spectacular on the outside, this Porsche 918 has also been upgraded with the optional Weissach package. This package comes with new aerodynamic fins on the rear bumper plus a set of lightweight wheels for better performance. If you didn’t know, the Weissach pack will make your Spyder faster by 0.2 second, making it sprint to 62 miles per hour in only 2.6 seconds. Moreover, the Acid Green brake calipers look great combined with the 918 Spyder’s red finish.

It seems that Dubai has become home to some of the largest dealerships in the world. For instance, Lamborghini of Italy and Bentley of the United Kingdom have their largest dealerships in the most populous and perhaps wealthiest city in the rich United Arab Emirates. Now, French carmaker Bugatti has recently opened its largest dealership in this wealthy city.

Opening a dealership in Dubai is a simple decision for carmakers – especially those building high-end and premium units – to make. After all, Dubai is a city where premium vehicles, supercars and exotic mobile units are a common sight. Seeing a Ferrari or a Lamborghini in different parts of the city is considered a normal event, considering that it is home or the second home to several of the world’s wealthiest families and individuals.

Considering the special status of Dubai among carmakers, it was no wonder that Bentley opened its largest dealership where it matters. In fact, the French carmaker has received 30 orders for its new Bugatti Chiron hypercar from the UAE alone. The establishment off the new dealership should boost Bugatti’s presence in the Middle East.

You might think that the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Coupe looks impressive. But have you imagined it without a roof? Yes, as a convertible. The fastest car to lap the Nurburging, the Huracan Performante, has been rendered, sans roof - and it looks insanely beautiful.

Just after publishing his rendering of the facelifted Porsche 918 Spyder, Aksyonov Nikita is back at it with the open-top Huracan Performante Spyder he posted on Behance. In the rendering, the car was illustrated without a roof, but even with its cloth top, it will definitely look as gorgeous. Since the roadster has sleek lines, the design naturally blends in with the convertible layout effortlessly.

Though photos and videos of Lamborghini’s Huracan Performante have been taken while it was out on the Nurburging being tested, the prototype is still wrapped in its camouflage, so we still can’t tell how it looks, but it will definitely get a folding soft-top. Just like the coupe, the Performante Spyder will be equipped with a potent 5.2 liter V10 engine that can produce a whopping 630 horsepower (470 kilowatts) and 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-metres) of torque.

It appears that flying cars will no longer be experienced solely by the Jetsons. That is, if Uber pushes through with the plan. During the early part of the week, Jeff Holden, who is the Chief Product Officer of Uber, disclosed that the company is planning to shake up the taxi industry with the introduction of the flying taxi. Announced during the Uber Elevate Summit held in Dallas, the goal is to make all this possible before the end of this decade.

Holden said that the company plans to release this project by 2020 at both Dubai and Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas. While not exactly cars in a general sense, these flying taxis are in fact small electric aircraft that can take off vertically and land vertically as well. Meaning they can be considered as VTOL, which stands for vertical take-off and landing. Since it is powered by electricity, then there is the expectation that it will have no emissions. Further, they are projected to be quiet enough in order to be operated in urban areas.

As if to heighten the excitement even more, Uber said that the price will only be a bit expensive compared to UberX. In terms of figures, the company estimates that a mile may cost somewhere in the area of $1.32. However Uber believes that the price will likely go down over the long run and could become cheaper than actually owning a car.
