Lingenfelter Performance offers Supercharger Package for Dodge Challenger

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) is offering a new Challenger Supercharger Package that increases the performance of the 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger. This package is available for Hemi engines with capacities of 5.7 liters and 6.1 liters.

This new Challenger Supercharger Package featuring a Magnuson TVS 2300 intercooled supercharger system, in black powdercoat finish, a 160 degree thermostat, properly sized fuel injectors and a high flow air intake system.

Owners may also opt for a chrome upgrade to the supercharger case. After conducting baseline testing on a Mustang chassis dyno, it was determined that the 6.1L Challenger has an output of 373 rear wheel horsepower and 355 lb.-ft. of torque. But with supercharger enhancements, the LPE-tuned 6.1L Challenger was able to deliver 500 rear wheel horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque at 6 psi boost.

Preview: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro by Lingenfelter

On the list of Lingenfelter for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS are superchargers, twin turbos, body kits and handling packages and more. With power outputs beginning at 550hp and reaching the top with 800hp, there will be no doubt that the tuned Camaros will be the most potent cars on the street.

Judging from the available images of the body package and wheels, the Lingenfelter will be coming with aggressive appearance.

A bespoke engine cover, which will help in accommodating the different forced-induction revisions within the engine bay, supports a very low and broad front splitter, a redesigned lower face, side skirts, rear diffuser and larger rear boot-mounted air spoiler.

SEMA Preview: 2010 Lingenfelter Camaro by Hotchkis

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Hotchkis Performance partnered to produce a world-class supercar to be displayed at the 2009 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Lingenfelter Performance's latest offering is a 750 horsepower 2010 Camaro SS, which will be shown at the Hotchkis Performance booth at the annual automotive aftermarket trade show.

Hotchkis Performance, of Santa Fe Springs, California, developed the suspension system for the Lingenfelter Camaro and has worked with the renowned specialty supercar builder on several projects in the past. Over the years, Hotchkis has been involved in dozens of OEM and racing development programs, but Hotchkis Performance founder and president John Hotchkis calls this partnership as "special".

Hotchkis takes pride that Lingenfelter builds some of the fastest, coolest and most refined domestic supercars in the world, and finds it exciting that it was asked to help develop the suspension for a 200 mph Camaro. The Lingenfelter 750HP Supercharged LS7 2010 Camaro SS features a hand-built 427 CID (7.0L) LS7 engine featuring forged pistons, titanium connecting rods and Inconel exhaust valves.

SEMA Preview: 2010 Camaro-based Pontiac Trans AM by Lingenfelter

Many fans mourned the death of the Pontiac but they have all but put thoughts of the factory-built Firebird Trans Am behind them. You can just imagine how the news of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering's decision to resurrect the car based on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was received. Texas-based Lingenfelter is well-known for having tuned various GM vehicles from Corvette Z06's to the new Camaro. Its latest creation is a resurrection of the Pontiac Trans Am to be shown at SEMA Show.

The Trans Am is based on the new Camaro, but with major modifications to hold the car to the original Pontiacs. The exterior of the car is based on the 1971 Trans Am and it does the task well while retaining a modern look.

Featured on the concept are a full Trans Am accurate front fascia with honeycomb kidney grills and rounded-square headlights. At the rear, the vehicle bears classic Trans Am taillights complete with rear decklid spoiler.
