Sometime last month, BMW made an announcement that they will retire the standard M2 to make room for the M2 Competition. And now, the Bavarians are already showing off some new upgrades for interested customers, in which the performance coupe can be made even more intense. The new M Performance Parts will not only make your car look more appealing, but also serve to cut down some of its weight.
For instance, they are offering a new set of 19 inch forged wheels from the M Performance catalog, and this will not only make your car look sexy, but will also reduce their weight by 3.2 kilograms (7 pounds) when being compared to the regular alloy wheels.
BMW says that shaving off weight will have a positive impact on the steering wheel behaviour as well as the driving dynamics. The wheels can then be finished in two options: Jet Black in matte or Frozen Gold. This, of course comes with the “M Performance” lettering too. The wheels will then be dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for superior grip.Read the entire article 2019 BMW M2 Competition gets even better with M Performance Parts
BMW calls the new 8 Series Coupe as the redefinition of the sports car. A more powerful performance version is expected to follow soon in the persona of the BMW M8. But if you think the M8 isn't sporty and hot enough to suit your exacting preferences, you can rely on this rumor mill: a much hotter BMW M8 Competition is on the radar.
The BMW M8 Competition rumor came to life following a closed BMW event in Paris, as attended only by selected VIP customers. This event was meant to provide these VIP customers a glimpse of upcoming models. Expectedly, no one was allowed to use their cell phones, as BMW wouldn’t want the images or slides shared during the event to spread publicly. Nonetheless, one of the attendees was able to relate his experience during the event to BMW Blog.
As reported by BMW Blog, the VIP attendee revealed that BMW M is planning to create a Competition package for the BMW M8. This revelation, however, wasn’t really surprising considering the fact that BMW M also created the BMW M5 Competition. The attendee went on to describe the looks of the upcoming M8 Competition.Read the entire article BMW M8 Competition is rumored to arrive after launch of BMW M8
BMW will launch the fourth generation of its X5 SUV to the global market in March 2019. Its high-performance version, the X5 M, would follow but that would take some time. As there would be customers who want their new X5 looks sportier than usual, BMW is allowing them to dress up their SUVs in M style through M Performance Parts.
Just in time for the global launch of the new X5 (05), BMW will be offering an extensive range of M Performance Parts, as available through the Original BMW Accessories program. Just like any other M Performance Parts, the ones that will be available for the new X5 were developed through racing expertise of BMW M. All of these M Performance Parts have a functional purpose, such as enhancing the X5’s aerodynamics or contributing to its already intelligent lightweight concept.
A number of M Performance Parts for the new X5 are made from carbon fiber, giving the SUV a more striking appearance inspired by motor racing. Most of these CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) components feature a final high-gloss polish for further depth effect.Read the entire article Extensive M Performance Parts will be available at launch of the BMW X5 (G05)
Interested customers only have to wait for a few months until March 2019 to get behind the wheel of the new BMW 3 Series (G20). But for clients eyeing the new BMW M3, the wait is much longer as the performance-laden luxury sedan isn't up for grabs at the same as the 3 Series. Some are willing to wait; for those who cannot, the carmaker is introducing a new extensive range of M Performance Parts as Original BMW Accessories for the new 3 Series.
These new BMW M Performance Parts just for the new 3 Series – comprising no fewer than 10 components -- won't actually make the premium class sedan much faster or quicker as they entail no modifications with regards to its power and closely related components. Customers would have to wait for such modifications to happen with the new M3. However, the range of M Performance Parts for the 3 Series can make the limousine feel sportier, more dynamic and more responsive.
The secret of these new BMW M Performance Parts – available in high-gloss black or carbon fiber -- lies on the fact they were directly inspired by and derived from motor racing. They include components not just for the exterior and the interior, but also for the drive system and chassis engineering of the 3 Series. They are designed, for instance, to augment the car’s lightweight construction concept or make the 3 Series more aerodynamic. Likewise, these components can make the 3 Series look more dynamic and sportier.Read the entire article Paris Motor Show: M Performance Parts to be offered for the 2019 BMW 3 Series (G20)

Customers will also be required to join a one-day driving school at the BMW Performance Center. If you have driven, or at least heard of the BMW M550i’s performance specs, you will definitely be blown away, as it can hit the 60 miles per hour sprint in under four seconds, with its 4.4 liter, twin turbo V8 engine. This engine lets the vehicle carry out 456 horsepower and 480 pound feet of torque of tap, which also makes it half a second quicker than the previous M5 that is actually equipped with the same engine.
Now, we already know that the new M5 is the perfect car for people who enjoy driving crazy powerful cars, and with all its power, it barely needs any upgrade. But looking at this machine sometimes makes you think of what more can it give.
Well, if you happen to be in the area, you might want to head out to the world’s largest BMW dealership located in the Persian Gulf emirate of Abu Dhabi. Because that is where you will find this brand-new M550i xDrive.Read the entire article Seen in Abu Dhabi: BMW M550i xDrive is decked out with M Performance body kit, brown leather interior
The Middle East is home to a number of one-off vehicles, as well as specially modified luxury cars. Almost every month, we hear about new cars being unveiled or brought into the country, and a lot of them are BMWs.
Now, one of the latest models that BMW Abu Dhabi Motors has on display is the mind blowing range-topping 7 Series that’s currently on sale. The last model we saw before this was the impressive M760Li xDrive finished in Imola Red, which we saw a few weeks ago. Now, BMW’s Long Beach Blue M760Li xDrive is just as striking as the last model we saw.
This is definitely not the first time we have seen this hue on a car. In fact, it has been used on different models like the M2 pocket rocket. You might also agree if I say that this colour looks a bit too wild on the large sedan. Thanks to the black carbon fiber accents all throughout the car, from the mirror caps to the 21-inch multi-spoke 629 design wheels, the whole package now looks so much better. But that’s not all that this car has to boast about. The car also has a 3D Design Body kit that adds some nice details here and there. Lastly, it has got a trunk lid spoiler from the M Performance.Read the entire article M760Li Individual Long Beach Blue is BMW Abu Dhabi’s latest flagship on display
As October ends and we get closer to the end of the year, we welcome more auto shows where automakers take the opportunity to display their unique cars and concepts. Speaking of shows, the latest one would be the SEMA. Just after BMW previewed its M Performance Parts made especially for the 2018 BMW M5 (F90), the automaker is letting us have a closer look at the sporty goods, which they presented through the MotoGP Safety Car.
During the first day of the 2017 SEMA Show at Las Vegas, BMW revealed the midsize sedan, which at first glance, seems to have gained an aerodynamic body kit. It was made with a number of carbon fiber components, which overall gave the M5 a more aggressive look. Customers who are willing to pay extra can get optional parts like a front bumper attachment, extended side sills, and a rear spoiler.
If you want a more modified ride, you can even opt for a beefy rear diffuser, and even have your side mirror caps dipped in carbon fiber, the same as the front and air breather trim side grilles. Lastly, you can pay an extra cost if you want your M5 to be equipped with an M Performance coilover suspension with adjustable red springs.Read the entire article BMW displays M5 (F90) with fully loaded M Performance package at 2017 SEMA Show
Would you believe that this BMW M3 (F80) is one of the most expensive BMW models you can get? This is because it comes with a lot of new features and is quite far from being standard. To be more specific, this Speed Yellow M3 is the closest you could get to a M3 GTS. It has carbon fiber details from the hood and the prominent front spoiler that the M4 GTS has.
This BMW M3 gets a Speed Yellow paint job, with a black roof to give it some contrast. This particular model also gets an upgraded exhaust system and titanium tips in the beefy carbon fiber diffuser, that has been acquired from the M Performance. It has been given enhanced aerodynamics like the optional carbon fiber fixed wing to add some downforce at the rear axle, keeping the car low. To finish off the extra bits are the M4 GTS wheels, Carbon Ceramic brakes, carbon fiber side mirror caps, and of course, the “M Performance” badge on the side sills.
Moving into the cabin, the interior complements the exterior with the black leather seats accented with yellow stitching and yellow trim for a sportier look all over. There are also a lot of glossy carbon fiber parts like the dashboard and the center console. Before I forget to mention, it also gets a sports steering wheel and sports seats.Read the entire article BMW M3 Speed Yellow with M Performance parts seen in Abu Dhabi
At BMW, there’s an obvious pattern. The German marque first releases the standard model to various markets and after a few weeks its sportier brother fitted with M Performance Parts will join the line-up. Others commented that the BMW 6 Series GT doesn't deserve the athletic kit, but even the 2 Series Active Tourer was given an M Sport Package, so at this point it is not that impossible that the 6 Series GT will follow suit.
The M Performance Package for the 6 Series was made possible thanks to the German marque's GmbH division that is solely responsible for producing the parts tailored to the recent model. One of the parts is the sporty exhaust system which promises to give a truly significant acoustic and visual dimension, in which the German marque claims that the sportier sound is still appropriate for cruising on the roads.
These words are heavily grounded, so we will have to hear it ourselves to consider it in the first place. The brand new system is paired with a stainless steel silencer and has round tips or trapezoid in chrome ,depending on the driver's chosen model, and these are made available for the 630i and 640i xDrive models. The models that have round designs are given an engraved "M" logo and the others are gifted with "M Performance" etching.Read the entire article 2018 BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo receives sporty M Performance Parts
Last month at BMW’s Abu Dhabi dealership, the company revealed the M3 in a San Marino Blue exterior finish, which received plenty of compliments. This month, the new M4 gets the same look, but comes with a sportier appeal.
First of all, the BMW M4 (F82) was fitted with the M Performance body kit, making it much more aggressive. Physically, it comes with a carbon fiber rear wing, carbon fiber front spoiler, mirror covers, and boot lid spoiler. A set of dual tone silver and blue wheels comes with the body kit. Meanwhile, the interior also gets some carbon fiber on the gear selector, handbrake level, the console and the dash. To match its sporty exterior, the M4’s cabin was given an upgrade with the orange leather interior.
As for the exhaust system, the M4 was equipped with a custom Armytrix exhaust. In fact, you can hear it roar online. It definitely sounds more powerful than the factory model vehicle.Read the entire article 2017 BMW M4 (F82) looks even better with San Marino Blue finish

The guys at BMW Abu Dhabi are notoriously famous for being unconventional in all sorts of things. These guys have this quirky way of customizing a car ---whether with the choice of color they apply, the aftermarket upgrade they use, or actually nearly every aspect of the vehicle that touches their hands.
Speaking of which, BMW Abu Dhabi recently unveiled an M-Performance-equipped BMW M2 at their showroom. Other than the carbon fiber aero kit, the BMW M stripe-wearing M2 gets an Akrapovic exhaust system with Akrapovic downpipes for better sound. As it goes, everything else here will get a taste of the wild carbon fiber treatment--- starting with the trunk lid spoiler, the skirt winglets, the front spoiler, and even the rear diffuser up to the M2’s side mirror casings.
To further highlight the M Performance package, the BMW M2 wears the hardcore M Graphics with black M wheels. This complements not only the kidney grille’s gloss finish but also the black accents along the exterior.Read the entire article BMW M2 peppered with M Performance and Akrapovic bits

If you could remember the first time that the F82 generation of the M4 was introduced by BMW in 2014 – the performance version of the 4 Series – it was wrapped in a beautiful yet sporty exterior color finish. Thus, as the BMW M4’s official launch color, Austin Yellow has been one of the most-sought color finishes simply because it appropriately matches the performance coupe’s dynamism and athleticism.
While Austin Yellow may have become one of the most sought and most common finishes for the BMW M4, it didn’t stop customers – even those seeking for something unique and bespoke – from opting for this hue.
Now, BMW Abu Dhabi Motors – the largest BMW dealership in the world – has managed to take a hold of this special kind of BMW M4 (F82) as wrapped in Austin Yellow exterior color. Well, the exterior color might be one of the most common exterior finishes for the BMW M4, but when combined and complemented by a number of specially made elements from M Performance, Austin Yellow stands out very well. These components are finished in gloss black and carbon fiber, both helping accentuate the sporty appearance of the BMW M4.Read the entire article BMW Abu Dhabi Motors gets hold of Austin Yellow M4 with M Performance parts
The new BMW 5 Series Touring is definitely the sporty all-rounder model of the range. It is smart, luxurious and elegant, and at the same time, functional and dynamic. Now, German premium carmaker BMW is showing at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show that the BMW 5 Series Touring (G31) could be made hotter with a range of performance upgrades courtesy of M Performance Parts.

The BMW Power and Sound Kit could also hike its torque levels from 450 Nm to 500 Nm – resulting to a greater engine response and pulling power. Just as the kit’s name indicates, it also bestows the BMW 540i xDrive Touring with a sporty soundtrack thanks to its silencer system.
Of course, BMW 5 Series customers who don’t want the power upgrade could avail of the BMW M Performance exhaust system as a separate product. The BMW M Performance exhaust system is available for the BMW 540i xDrive Touring and the BMW 530i Touring while a diesel version is offered for the BMW 530d Touring, BMW 530d xDrive Touring and BMW 520d Touring. To be exact, their latest makeover project is based on a BMW X6 xDrive50i. Since it is unclear if they had upgraded its engine, maybe we’ll just take it from there. BMW has revealed that for the 2016 Essen Motor Show, it will be putting on display at least 1,300 items of its accessory line-up that includes carbon-ceramic brakes. It also offers exterior mirror caps made of carbon.
The highlight of these would likely be the brand’s M Performance Parts. BMW M Performance Parts are already popular in their own right and are projected to grow further with a new leasing offer coming from BMW Financial Services. Under this offer, customers will get the chance to get them through a residual value leasing contract. It will include, among many others, the M Performance Power & Sound Kits, M Performance alloy light wheels, front grille in black, and all exhaust systems.
BMW also revealed that starting in the summer of 2017, it optimized the aerodynamics for the M3 Sedan and the M4 Coupe by adding in a carbon rear wing. This rear wing will have its struts come in the standard motorsport stripes of the BMW M which is violet, red, and blue. The brand will also be offering a sport suspension in order to improve the handling dynamics. This suspension will be easy to spot due to the coil springs in red.
