If The Hulk were to be a car, what would it be? Well, you might want to check out this Mercedes-AMG GT R that is just as green and powerful as the angry monster. But before we get to that, let us first talk about the standard Mercedes-AMG GT which is available in a handful of variations. The standard version is the GT Coupe, pumping out a respectable 469 horsepower (349 kilowatts).
There is also the GT C, which focuses more on performance and has as much as 550 horsepower (410 kilowatts). Meanwhile, the range-topping model would be the track-ready GT R, with the ability to deliver 577 horsepower (430 kilowatts). And last but not the least is the four-door GT. But even with those options, one German tuning shop thinks that the AMG GT could use more power.
So going back to the mean, green AMG GT R that Renntech offers as an upgrade. They enabled it to deliver between 612 and 825 horsepower (456 and 615 kilowatts), depending on the trim. The latter of the two is dubbed as the AMG GT R825. This does not only have more power, but also has a torque of 626 pound feet (850 Newton metres). The extra power is attributed to the larger turbo, paired with a software upgrade, blow off valves, and high flow air filter, among others. Of course, expect the transmission as well as the clutch to cope with the change.Read the entire article German tuner Renntech boosts output of Mercedes-AMG GT R to 825 hp
The Mercedes-AMG GT R isn't in any way underpowered. Dubbed as the “Beast of the Green Hell” by the AMG – owning to the fact it was mostly developed in the Nordschleife circuit of the famed Nurburgring – the AMG GT R has the specs to prove this moniker. However, tuning company Renntech has transformed the beast into a more powerful monster and wrapped it in an attention-seeking orange suit.
It is unknown whether Renntech has found the AMG GT R underpowered or just wanted to boost the speed predator’s credentials. Either way, Renntech did a great job in making the Beast of the Green Hell more impressive and more noticeable.
As it is, the AMG GT R is powered by 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is tuned by AMG to deliver 577 hp (585 PS) of max output and 516 lb.-ft. (700 Nm) of peak torque. This V8 engine – along with a number of dynamic elements and high-tech components – allow the AMG GT R to sprint from a standstill to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 198 mph (319 km/h). Furthermore, an AMG GT R driven by Christian Gebhardt of Sport Auto managed to complete a lap at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just 7 minutes and 10.92 seconds.Read the entire article Renntech creates a 761 hp orange beast out of a Mercedes-AMG GT R

Without this upgrade, the Mercedes-AMG GT’s 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine only delivers 462 hp of max output and 600 Nm (440 lb-ft.) of peak torque and helps achieve a top speed of 189 mph.Read the entire article Luethen Motorsport’s tuning program for Mercedes-AMG GT makes it race-ready

It was only around three ago when Mercedes-AMG unveiled the AMG GT R Coupe. Now at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, AMG chopped the roof the AMG GT R Coupe and made some necessary revisions. This resulted to the birth of a new AMG GT R model from Mercedes-Benz – the new Mercedes-AMG GT R Roadster.
When the AMG GT R Roadster arrives, the AMG GT family will have 16 members that include five two-door coupes, four roadsters, two customer sports racing cars and five 4-door coupes. But AMG isn't planning to build many as only 750 units are intended to be produced.
Of course, the main difference between the AMG GT R Coupe and AMG GT R Roadster is that the latter has no fixed roof, allowing its occupants to enjoy the thrill of open-air ride. But should they need some protection from the elements, the AMG GT R Roadster is provided with a three-layered fabric soft top. Featuring an inserted acoustic mat that can reduce noise, this soft top is supported by a structure of low weight – thanks to materials such as magnesium, steel and aluminum – which basically help give the AMG GT R Roadster a low center of gravity.Read the entire article Mercedes-AMG GT R takes its roof away as a Roadster at 2019 Geneva Motor Show

This isn't to say that the Chevrolet Camaro isn't a fast car. After all, even in its “weakest” version, the Camaro is a sports car that still offers considerable 275 hp of max output and 295 lb.-ft. of peak torque from its 2.0-liter Turbo SIDI engine. In terms of performance, the Mercedes-AMG GT – whether in its base or R version -- already packs a good punch. Nonetheless, several tuning companies have already created their own version of the AMG GT, and they all managed to create a greater monster out of the "Beast of the Green Hell." Now, it is the turn of Fostla, a tuning firm from Germany, to show off its own formula of steroids for the AMG GT.
First off, Fostla saw it fit to make the AMG GT look meaner on the road. This entails the fitment of a number of aftermarket parts and components. While these aftermarket parts and components should make the AMG GT become visually more appealing and more dynamic, they should give these beast an aerodynamic advantage.
To achieve this, Fostla saw it suitable to install a widebody kit, which aftermarket package was provided by Prior Design. This widebody kit gave the AMG GT wider hips as well as a rear wing. Prior Design’s aftermarket package likewise includes a number of aerodynamic elements like front and rear flicks as well as a meaner rear diffuser. Up front, the stock front grille of the AMG GT was replaced with a blacked-out configuration evoking the Panamericana grille.Read the entire article This Mercedes-AMG GT tuned by Fostla is a green monster on the road
Here comes a 6x6 pickup truck that can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. It isn't only mean and fully capable, but is also menacingly fast. We are referring to the all-new Hennessey Goliath 6X6, the latest creation of North American automotive tuner Hennessey Performance (HPE).
The new Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is essentially HPE’s follow-up to the VelociRaptor 6X6, which was unleashed in 2017. While the VelociRaptor 6X6 sounds faster than the Goliath 6X6, the latter is actually quicker on the sprint.
HPE created the Hennessey Goliath 6X6 from a Chevrolet Silverado, in particular from a Trail Boss Z71 model. This version of the Silverado was already a capable machine off the road. But HPE transformed it into a creation that most off-roaders would crave for.Read the entire article Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is 705-hp off-road monster with optional 808-hp upgrade

The 3.0-liter 6-cylinder in-line engine serving the AMG GT 43 4MATIC+ is tuned to deliver up to 270 kW (367 hp) of output and up to 500 Nm of torque available between 1,000 rpm and 4,500 rpm. This power level allows the AMG GT 43 4MATIC+ to sprint from nil to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 270 km/h. The AMG GT 43 4MATIC+ consumes between 9.1 liter and 9.4 liters of fuel per 100 km (combined) and emits between 209 grams and 215 grams of carbon dioxide per km (combined), enough to comply with Euro 6d-TEMP.Read the entire article 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 43 4MATIC+ is the newest entry-level GT 4-door coupe

A classic Porsche evolved and optimized by modern engineering techniques and technologies – this is the Singer DLS Porsche 911. Taking part at the highly prestigious 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the new Singer DLS Porsche 911 is a bespoke creation by Singer Vehicle Design and Williams Advanced Engineering that boasts of more power yet lower weight that the model it was based on.
It all started when a customer named Scott Blattner approached Singer Vehicle Design and asked the company to not just restore but also re-imagine his 1990 Porsche 911 (964 Generation) as a more powerful yet lighter sports car. Sensing it needs help for this one-of-a-kind project, Singer approached Williams Advanced Engineering. The collaboration between Singer and Williams to come up with a bespoke creation started around two years ago. Eventually, Singer and Williams, along with former Porsche engineers Norbert Singer and Hans Mezger as well as other technical partners, worked hard to re-imagine the 1990 Porsche 911.
In the process, the partners decided into inject into the project car a number of alluring features. Thus, from a standard two-wheel drive 1990 Porsche 911, born was Singer DLS Porsche 911. The DLS stands for Dynamics and Lightweighting Study, which appropriately conveys the fact that the DLS Porsche 911 is more powerful and weighs lighter than the original model. As it is, the 1990 Porsche 911 is powered by an engine that delivers 247 hp, and weighs around 3,031 lbs.
