Brabus tunes the Mercedes-Benz X-Class truck to be sportier, more practical!

For those of you who are not aware, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class is exactly the same model as the Nissan Navara, except it is dressed in fancier clothes while featuring some additional technology too. Also, the X-Class has been offering a more powerful six cylinder diesel engine since March.

Since there isn’t much of a difference between the two, there are some customers who are not willing to spend quite a bit more on the Mercedes-Benz X-Class. Instead, they opt for the more mainstream version. Nonetheless, the world’s largest aftermarket tuner, Brabus, has created a tuning package for this truck that might convince them to reconsider.

Brabus has developed a full-on exterior and interior kit for the X Class, giving it a sportier look while improving on its practicality. Among the add-ons are new LED markers built into the front bumper and another lighting module with twelve diodes on the roof, which is activated with the high beam. The revised fascia then gets a new grille design, and in the back is a set of chrome tailpipes.

Brabus transforms Mercedes-AMG S 63 into menacing 800 Sedan and Coupe

The Mercedes-AMG S63 – both in its sedan and coupe guises -- is a high-performance luxurious ride that offers 612 PS (603 hp or 450 kW) of max output and 900 Nm of peak torque. These massive numbers are already considered as the higher levels of performance, but people at Brabus believe more can be done to further increase these figures. Turning belief to reality, the well-known German tuning company created the new Brabus 800 Sedan and Coupe as based on the AMG S 63 4Matic+.

As its name indicates, the Brabus 800 Sedan and Coupe based on the AMG S 63 boasts of 800 PS (789 hp or 588 kW) of max output from the heavily upgraded AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine. The peak torque level has already been boosted from 900 Nm to 1,000 Nm (737 lb.-ft.) as available at just 3,600 rpm. An untouched AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine is already powerful enough to send the AMG S 63 – both sedan and coupe versions -- sprinting from nil to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and achieving a top speed of 250 km/h.

But the upgraded eight-cylinder mill with its boosted power allows the Brabus 800 Sedan and Coupe based on the AMG S 63 to dash from true zero to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than their regular counterparts. As for the top speed of the Brabus 800 Sedan and Coupe based on the AMG S 63, these tuned units could go as fast as 300 km/h (186 mph). For those seeking a faster unit, Brabus is currently working hard to create some tweaks to allow the Brabus 800 Sedan and Coupe based on the AMG S 63 to go a lot faster.

Brabus Mercedes-AMG G65 'One of Ten' has 888 HP and a hefty price tag of $800,000

Have you been waiting for the most powerful twelve-cylinder off-roader? If that’s the case, you might want to look into this Brabus G65 with as much as 888 horsepower.

When looking at it from the outside, the Brabus G65 has a boxy design with a go-anywhere appeal, and capability of course. The German tuner first came out with the most powerful four-seat cabrio (based on the S65), following a E63 S sedan with as much as 700 horsepower, and now, they are on to the G65, or the legendary G-Class in its highest specification. Brabus only plans to build 10 examples of the Brabus G65, and each one will have a whopping price tag of €666,000 ($800,000), and the same 6.3-liter V12 biturbo engine (instead of the original one with 6.0 liters).

Speaking of the engine power and performance, the Brabus G65 will be armed with 888 horsepower (662 kilowatts) and 1,106 pound-feet (1,500 Newton-metres) of torque. The Bottrop-based tuner says that the ten Brabus G65 examples will be the most powerful off road vehicle in the world with a twelve-cylinder engine. However, one will not be able to enjoy the full mountain-moving torque as it will be electronically limited to 885 pound-feet (1,200 Newton-metres).

Brabus has a new tuning program for the 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S and that is the additional 88 horsepower (65 kilowatts) it can give the E63 S. After countless test drives on racetracks and streets, the company has developed a plug-and-play auxiliary control unit that upgrades the electronic engine control unit with new mapping for ignition and injection, thus boosting pressure.

With Brabus’ new upgrade, the 4.0 liter biturbo V8 engine can now produce a total of 700 horsepower (515 kilowatts) and now 701 pound-feet (900 Newton-metres) of torque, from only 627 pound feet (850 Newton-metres) before. It comes with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and 4Matic system that channels power to all four wheels. After the upgrade, the E63 sedan can now accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in only 3.2 seconds, while the heavier station wagon can do it in 3.3 seconds.

The Brabus 700 is the perfect solution for those who thought that the 603 horsepower E63 S is underpowered.

The 2017 Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet is no doubt a powerful car, with a 621 horsepower engine under its hood. Despite its power, Brabus still decided that they'd push the S65's V12 engine even further. By doing so, they were able to extract an additional 267 horsepower, giving it a total of 888 horsepower (662 kilowatts) available from 5,500 rpm. Naturally, torque is also increased to 1,106 pound-feet (1,500 Nm) at 4,200 rpm from only 738 pound-feet (1,000 Newton metres). To preserve reliability, it had to be electronically capped to 885 pound feet (1,200 Nm).

With that much power hike, Brabus didn't just have to do some software revision, but they also had to increase engine displacement from 6.0 to 6.3 liters and enlarge the cylinder bores. Exhaust manifolds and larger turbochargers had to be installed too. The new control system takes care of cooling and stabilizing the car, making it work in the most efficient way while ensuring you get a smooth V12 cabriolet.

Brabus modified a seven-speed automatic transmission that works with the immense power of the V12, giving power to the rear wheels. It has been given a custom limited-slip differential, new intake manifold, bigger down pipes, and a high-performance exhaust that completes the hardware upgrades.

BRABUS has long been considered as one of those who everyone admires when it comes to ideas related to multimedia and business focusing on automobiles. Having one of the fastest convertibles in the world may not be enough if it doesn’t come with the right color motif. This could also be what the guys at Brabus had been thinking of when they came up with this Mercedes-AMG S63-based Cabrio.

First off, the Brabus 850 we have right here is not only packed with incredible hp but it also comes with an equally powerful color scheme—imagine a completely white body with contrasting red interior to match. But that’s not all. the four-seater Mercedes-AMG cabrio is quicker than the latest Bentley Continental Supersports, thanks to its Brabus-tuned engine under the hood.

At any rate, Brabus has not only upgraded the AMG S63’s 5.5-liter stock engine but it also did some revisions on its ECU, exhaust manifolds and compressor units to make it one of the world’s most powerful and fastest convertibles.

Brabus is now showing off its impressive vehicle lineup at the ongoing motor show in Switzerland. The German tuning brand has offered its own take on a Maserati Levante, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class, a Smart Fortwo and Mercedes’ fancy G-Wagon.

The Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4² is unmistakably hardcore but Brabus certainly knows how to make it even more radical. Currently attracting crowds at its premiere at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Brabus takes the center stage with its new 550 Adventure 4x4².

The radical-looking off-roader is made even more sinister, thanks to Brabus’ aftermarket body kit. This highly modified truck now comes with a more extreme bumper guard at the front, a new hood scoop, a more aggressive underride guard, additional lighting plus a newly installed winch for emergency.

Brabus will be hitting this week’s most happening auto show with a powerful 641bhp C63 Cabrio. The after-market tuning company has earned its reputation in the industry for having tuned Mercedes-Benz cars for four decades. Its latest project, the new Brabus 650 Cabrio, is based on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet.

The drop-top 650 Cabrio receives a powerful boost of up to 138 hp –resulting in its highly impressive 650 horsepower and 604 pound feet of torque. Brabus modified its standard 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine so it can accelerate from 0- 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 200 miles per hour. The conversion consists of Brabus PowerXtra B40S and 2 turbochargers with larger compressor just to name a few.

Normally, a standard Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet comes with 502 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The hefty amount of powerful boost wouldn’t be possible if not for the recalibrated electronics and new turbochargers fitted under its hood. To do this, Brabus replaced the factory specified AMG turbocharger with its own turbo charger units. The tuning house has also upgraded the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Cabriolet’s ECU and got rid of the 155 mph limiter to allow its 650 hp run up to 200 miles per hour at top speed.

Incredible Hulk is not your typical superhero yet he has avid followers around the world. In our opinion, he has inspired the creation of a monstrous package for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate.

In the world of aftermarket automotive tuning, Germany-based Brabus GmbH has been known for its ability to transform vehicles – most of which are Mercedes-Benz nameplates – into something that doesn’t only look powerful but also performs like monsters on the road. Yet, these Brabus-tuned Mercedes vehicles aren’t monstrous villains, but are road heroes that take their drivers and/or passengers from one place to another comfortably and luxuriously. The upgrades are definitely not limited to its looks.

This AMG C63 S Estate is wrapped in a lime green exterior – similar to the radioactive color of the Incredible Hulk. However, unlike the Incredible Hulk who is muscular and rugged, this Brabus AMG C63 S Estate is stylish and elegant.

Since some customers prefer a car that is both super strong and extra-large, BRABUS decided to focus on Mercedes-Benz’s GLS-Class top model which is the GLS 63 4MATIC. This has resulted in a supercar that best symbolizes BRABUS and is called the BRABUS 850 XL. Powering it is the eight-cylinder twin-turbo engine with displacement increased by six liters.

Maximum output is at 838 bhp (625 kW/850 HP) with peak torque of 1,069 lb.-ft. (1,450 Nm). In terms of power, this is higher by 261bhp (195 kW/265 HP) when compared to the engine in the previous model. Acceleration from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) is possible in 4.2 seconds despite having a weight of 2.6 tons.

However to ensure safety, its maximum speed has been electronically limited to 186 mph (200 km/h). With the power output possible at 5,400 rpm and toque coming in from 2,500 rpm and up to 4,500 rpm, its performance is indeed closer to a full-blown sports car.

Late last year, Mercedes-Benz introduced the open variant of their S-class coupe which Daimler board member Ola Källenius describes as a symbol of their passion for individual and timeless mobility that the German automaker has since shared with their customers. The S-Class Cabriolet shows the same distinctive Sonderklasse elegance as that of its coupe.

As cool as the S-Class Cabrio may be, German auto tuner Brabus proves that the open variant S-Class still has a lot of room for improvement. S-Class Cabrio owners may now opt to upgrade their convertibles to an even powerful Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio option.

The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio option as we have mentioned, is based on Mercedes-Benz’ current S-Class Cabriolet. Unlike the standard convertible S-Class, this modified S-Class Cabrio will come with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The 850 on its name symbolizes the power that this modified S-Class Cabrio possesses. Its twin-turbocharged V8 engine can actually produce 850 ponies and a torque output of 1,069 lb.-ft. That’s quite powerful for a drop-top S-Class, don’t you think?

BRABUS has launched the BRABUS 650 at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. This latest offering uses the twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S as a basis but increases the power to 478 kW / 650 HP (641 bhp) while torque is upped to 820 Nm (604 lb-ft).

This four-door compact sedan can go from 0 to km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds with maximum speed of 320 km/h (200 mph). Indeed, the new offering from BRABUS is certainly not for the meek. The bodywork has carbon components and the customized 20-inch wheels plus the fine leather interior with its sporty design just add to the thrill.

Compared to the Mercedes C 63 S, the power inside the BRABUS PowerXtra B40S – 650 is higher by 103 kW / 140 HP (138 bhp). This upgrade does indeed turn the C 63 S Sedan into something outstanding. This tuning is also made available for the C 63 S Wagon.
