Mercedes-Benz is releasing the CL‑Class Grand Edition in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the S-Class Coupé. The Grand Edition features exclusive designo paintwork, high-quality designo leather appointments as well as sporty 20-inch wheels. The Grand Edition also features AMG bodystyling elements, which gave it a unique sporty touch, and a special badge that signifies the exclusive nature of this anniversary edition of the S-Class luxury coupé.
To further accentuate the exclusive, hand-finished chap of the CL‑Class, Mercedes-Benz has endowed the Grand Edition with some of the excellent features of the gorgeous designo range. Just in time for the upcoming winter season, Brabus has prepared a modification package for the all-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz CL and S500 models. Aside from the custom exterior package, the power is boosted and the standard speed limiter is removed. Brabus will unveil these two cars at the Essen Motor Show, comparable to the SEMA of Germany.
The 435-hp, 4.7-liter V8 is used as standard on the CL and the S500. Furthermore, the Brabus B50-490 engine tuning makes use of the PowerXtra module, which remaps the ignition and the electronic boost-pressure control. Its output has been increased to 490 hp while its peak torque rises to 575 lb-ft.
These features are also present on the B50-520 package but the output is 520 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque. Upon integration with the B50-520 kit, the Brabus Vmax unit could reach a speed of 186 mph after the speed limiter that sets the speed at 155 mph is removed. Three years after the Mercedes-Benz CL was introduced, it is given a mid-cycle facelift boasting of numerous aesthetic improvements. The CL was fitted with a huge two-door with lightly altered bumpers and it also got new LED daytime running lamps, reshaped headlamps, a more contoured hood, larger exterior mirrors with integrated indicators and revised tail-lamp lenses.
However, the major revisions are found under the hood. The model is offered with a new twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 direct-injection gasoline engine. This is the first of Mercedes-Benz's advanced MoVe powerplants that were designed to improve the efficiency of the range. The new engine has an output of 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
It delivers 47 hp and 125 lb-ft more than the naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 it replaces in the four-year-old CL500. As you may know already Mercedes-Benz unveiled the new 2011 CL-Class Facelift few weeks ago and made quite a buzz. What you didn't know is that the new car will boast two new safety features based on state-of-the-art radar, camera and sensor technology. Dubbed Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist, the new technologies will help drivers avoid danger through corrective braking.
The 2011 CL-Class which will make its debut in fall 2010, will also introduce new features such as ATTENTION ASSIST, PRE-SAFE Brake with automatic emergency braking, and Night View Assist PLUS with Pedestrian Detection.

The 2011 Mercedes-Benz CL Facelift was finally revealed today, showing a new front end, revised rear end and a bunch of new goodies. Ok, so first of all we see the presence of the new daytime running LEDs, new headlights inspired by the old-generation S-Class as well as a new front grille.
At the rear end we see modest improvements such as revised taillights, new trunk lid and rectangular exhaust pipes.

As the iconic British carmaker unveiled the fastest production SUV in the world so far, it is also celebrating 100 years of existence by unveiling a limited edition collectors’ car – the new Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition by Mulliner.

The new Audi TT RS – yes, the top version of the German carmaker’s facelifted TT model series – is now officially here. If you could remember, the range-topping TT RS Coupe and Roadster were visually absent when Audi unveiled the facelifted TT model series in July 2018. That got some worried, so Audi is allaying those worries.
As introduced by the brand with the Four Rings, the latest iteration of the Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster boasts of completely redrawn front end. However, most of us won't be able to distinguish the newest TT RS models from their predecessors right away. It would take discerning eyes – especially those of Audi TT RS fans and enthusiasts – to know how the latest iterations differ visually from the previous model.
For instance, the lateral air intakes on the front bumper are now larger, each divided by vertical strips. In addition, the quattro logo -- in matt titanium-look – is located in the lower part of the gloss black grille that is surrounded by matt black Singleframe. Alpina is releasing a new limited edition model that is essentially a more powerful and more appealing re-creation of the BMW 4 Series. This is the new BMW Alpina B4 S Bi-Turbo Edition 99, which would be sold either as a convertible and coupe versions, with deliveries set next year. As its name indicates, only 99 examples of the Edition 99 will be built.
This new BMW Alpina B4 S Biturbo Edition 99 is a limited edition model of the Alpina B4 S, which was derived from the BMW 4 Series. However, the B4 S is even more powerful and more dynamic than the high performance iteration of the 4 Series – the M4 Coupe. The Coupe version of the Edition 99 can be availed either as rear-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive (left-hand drive only). The Convertible model of the Edition, meanwhile, is configured as a rear-wheel drive.
While the 3.0-liter straight-six turbocharged engine of the M4 delivers 431 hp of output, the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six mill inside the B4 S offers up to 440 hp (324 kW). It also delivers 442 lb.-ft. Following the global debut of the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the German premium carmaker is introducing the new Audi R8. The refreshed version of the Audi R8 boasts of a sharper look and better performance made possible by more powerful V10 engines and a modified suspension system.
As part of the upgrade of the new Audi R8, the premium carmaker is implementing a change in designation. From now on, the Audi R8 Coupé V10 and R8 Spyder V10 will be known as the Audi R8 Coupé V10 quattro and R8 Spyder V10 quattro. On the other hand, the Audi R8 Coupé and R8 Spyder V10 plus will be designated as Audi R8 Coupé performance Quattro and R8 Spyder V10 performance quattro. Audi plans to commence sales of the new R8 in the first quarter of 2019 in Germany and other markets in Europe.
Under the hood of the Audi R8 V10 quattro is a V10 naturally aspirated engine that has powered up by 22 kW (30 hp) and 10 Nm (7.4 lb.-ft.) to 419 kW (570 hp) of max output and 550 Nm (405.7 lb.-ft.) of peak torque. This allows the Audi R8 Coupe V10 quattro to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds and the R8 Coupe V10 quattro in 3.5 seconds. That was fast! It was only a few days ago when Skoda teased its newest creation – the new all-new Skoda Kodiaq GT coupe-SUV -- through three sketched images. Now, the Czech carmaker is formally introducing online the coupe version of its Kodiaq SUV, revealing a number of details that should excite potential buyers in China.
According to Skoda, the exterior of the new Kodiaq GT coupe SUVis wrapped in sporty proportions. With a length of around 4.63 meters, it is slightly shorter than the Kodiaq SUV. On the front, the new Kodiaq GT is marked by a black-framed grille with chrome-plated dual ribs, as bordered on top by a wide bonnet, on the sides by LED headlights, and on the bottom by a three-dimensional bumper. The new Kodiaq SUV also features a front spoiler with wide air inlets.
When viewed from the sides, the new Skoda Kodiaq GT reveals coupe-like flanks, clear precise lines and a gently sloping roofline, which slope starts from behind the front doors. Finally, Skoda is entering the coupe-SUV segment. However, motorists in Europe or United States won't be able to get a piece of it. It seems like we are reporting about BMW cars every week. And this week, we are going to talk about the BMW 8 Series, because first, we have been waiting for its arrival, and second, it comes with a handful of technology, as well as two engine options. About a year ago, Swedish professional skier, Jon Olsson shared his bespoke Rolls-Royce Wraith, which he named “George”. The monster has an insane 810 horsepower under its hood, and now, he is selling it for a not so budget-friendly price.
The very first time we learnt about this was at The Netherland’s Auto Leitner, with its selling price of around $324,000 (275,000 euros). When looking at the car, it seems that nothing has changed as it remains to have the exterior upgrades and its heavily tuned engine.
Some of the Wraith’s exterior upgrades include Olsson’s signature camouflage wrap, lowered suspension, and the plethora of LED lights. It sits on a set of 24 inch Forgiato matte black wheels fitted with Pirelli Pzero Nero 285/30 ZR24 tires. It also has a jet powered, carbon fiber surfboard that weighs 18 kilograms (40 pounds). A decade ago, BMW invented the luxury coupe-SUV segment with the X6. And it is only this year that Audi decided to join them with the first ever Q8 SUV. This model is new to the Q family of high riding vehicles, giving customers both versatility of an SUV, and elegance of a five door coupe.
The size of the Q8 is pretty much like the Q7’s dimensions. But because of its sloping roofline design, it looks like it sits closer to the ground. Its wheelbase measures almost three meters (118 inches), a huge cabin, for which Audi says is superior compared to their competitors within its segment, namely the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
Moving on to the Q8’s capacity, it has a larger boot that can hold up to 605 liters (21.3 cubic feet) of your bags when the rear seats are in place, and can be expanded to 1,755 liters (61.9 cubic feet) when folded. If The Hulk were to be a car, what would it be? Well, you might want to check out this Mercedes-AMG GT R that is just as green and powerful as the angry monster. But before we get to that, let us first talk about the standard Mercedes-AMG GT which is available in a handful of variations. The standard version is the GT Coupe, pumping out a respectable 469 horsepower (349 kilowatts).
There is also the GT C, which focuses more on performance and has as much as 550 horsepower (410 kilowatts). Meanwhile, the range-topping model would be the track-ready GT R, with the ability to deliver 577 horsepower (430 kilowatts). And last but not the least is the four-door GT. But even with those options, one German tuning shop thinks that the AMG GT could use more power.
So going back to the mean, green AMG GT R that Renntech offers as an upgrade. They enabled it to deliver between 612 and 825 horsepower (456 and 615 kilowatts), depending on the trim. The latter of the two is dubbed as the AMG GT R825. This does not only have more power, but also has a torque of 626 pound feet (850 Newton metres). The extra power is attributed to the larger turbo, paired with a software upgrade, blow off valves, and high flow air filter, among others. Audi R8 is definitely a much loved car by the market, and we really are dreading the day it will retire.
