Brabus will introduce this powerful 700 hp Mercedes-AMG E63 S in Frankfurt

Brabus has a new tuning program for the 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S and that is the additional 88 horsepower (65 kilowatts) it can give the E63 S. After countless test drives on racetracks and streets, the company has developed a plug-and-play auxiliary control unit that upgrades the electronic engine control unit with new mapping for ignition and injection, thus boosting pressure.

With Brabus’ new upgrade, the 4.0 liter biturbo V8 engine can now produce a total of 700 horsepower (515 kilowatts) and now 701 pound-feet (900 Newton-metres) of torque, from only 627 pound feet (850 Newton-metres) before. It comes with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and 4Matic system that channels power to all four wheels. After the upgrade, the E63 sedan can now accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in only 3.2 seconds, while the heavier station wagon can do it in 3.3 seconds.

The Brabus 700 is the perfect solution for those who thought that the 603 horsepower E63 S is underpowered.

Posaidon-tuned Mercedes-AMG E63 S is crazy powerful with 1,090 hp

This Mercedes-AMG E63 S may look like the previous generation model in the range topping S-trim, but when you drive it, you’ll know that it is far more superior. This is because the difference comes mainly from under the hood. This originally came with a biturbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that generates 585 horsepower, which is already quite powerful.

However, German aftermarket specialists Posaidon even got to push the already powerful car, to its maximum. It is now equipped with a 6.5-liter V8 engine that carries out 1,090 horsepower and 550 Newton-metres (406 pound-feet) more torque than the original engine, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. In fact, the tuners had to tweak the transmission and electronically limit the engine torque to ensure reliability. Initially, the untouched Mercedes-AMG E63 S with the V8 engine generated 1,350 Newton-metres (996 pound-feet) of torque. In this case, the speed restriction has become quite essential.

Naturally, hardware changes like upgrading the engine to 6.5 liters and boosting the turbochargers by increasing the boost pressure, with a new higher-capacity intercooler will make a car perform better. The new V8 also gets a stainless steel sports exhaust system, giving it a better soundtrack. An ECU remap was also required for the upgraded internals.

2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate Edition 1 comes with record-breaking price of 139,980 euros

In time for the official market launch of the new generation E63 and E63 S models, pricing for Mercedes-AMG’s E63 Estate Edition 1 has also been announced in Germany. Let’s just say the equivalent price in US dollars comes at approximately $152,575.

For starters, the standard E63 wagon boasts a 0-62 acceleration under 3.6 seconds and a top speed reaching 155mph (250 kilometers per hour). With 571hp (420kW) and 553 lb-ft (750Nm) of torque under the hood, the entry level variant can be had for the price of 112,907 euros. Clearly there’s nothing “ordinary” about its performance.

Next, the E63 S comes with a starting price of € 124,688. With its mightier engine, the Mercedes E63 S can deliver a much more powerful 612hp (450kW) and 627 lb-ft (850Nm) torque than the standard version. Even more impressive is the output that has enough punch to push the vehicle by tenth of a second before topping off at 155mph (250kph).

Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the full details of its next generation E63 and E63 S performance luxury sedans, which are due to be launched for the 2018 model year. Dubbed as the most intelligent executive sedan as well as the most powerful E-Class so far, the new E63 and the new E63 S are fitted with innovative technologies to offer a whole new level of sportiness and comfort.

At the center of the dynamic claims of the new Mercedes-AMG E63 is the new and very versatile AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that employs twin turbocharging. In this setup, the two chargers are located between the cylinder banks in the V of the cylinders. This "hot inner V" setup allows for a more compact engine design. Since air flow for the close-coupled catalytic converters is now optimized, the engine boasts of immediate response from the two twin-scroll turbochargers as well as of low exhaust gas emissions.

This configuration entails a housing divided into two parallel flow passages, which – along with two separate exhaust ducts in the exhaust manifold – allows separate control of the exhaust gases on the turbine wheel. Exhaust gas coming from the first and fourth cylinders is guided through one duct while exhaust gas goes from the second and third cylinders to the other duct – thereby preventing individual cylinders from affecting each other on the exhaust gas cycle. Since this reduces exhaust gas back pressure while enhancing gas exchange, the engine produces more output and makes more torque available at low revs.

Brabus did it again and took the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Sedan to a new level. If the standard model uses a 5.5-liter biturbo engine, the Brabus increased the displacement to 5.9-liters. Still, Brabus didn’t sop here as the turbocharging system was also upgraded with a larger compressor unit and special manifold.

As a result, the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo offers 850 hp (625 kW) at 5,400 rpm and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft) of torque between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm. The maximum torque is limited though at 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) to reduce stress on the entire drivetrain.

Bolted to a modified SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, the new Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo zooms from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. When equipped with 4MATIC all-wheel drive, the vehicle is capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.1 seconds!

The latest project of German tuner Carlsson is the limousine E-CK63 RS, which is based on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. As with any other Carlsson tuning packages, the focus was on both the styling and the performance. The engineers tweaked the car to reach 585 HP, a feat that it achieved without changing the cubic capacity of 6.3 liters.

Maximum torque was increased from 630 to 695 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is achieved in 4.5 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the factory model. PU-RIM technology figured largely in the car's aerodynamic enhancements, which consist of a front skirt, extended wings, side moldings and rear skirt.

Carlsson also installed a carbon diffuser on both ends of the stainless steel end pipes from the exhaust system. In addition, Carlsson mounted 1/5 REVO wheels with 8.5x20 size at the front and 10.5x20 size at the rear.
