Mercedes-AMG G65 Final Edition will be limited to 65 examples only, each one at $368,000

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class has been around for quite some time now but to bid it farewell, the company has launched the Mercedes-AMG G65 Final Edition. Mercedes will only build a total of 65 examples of the Final Edition, which will be sold worldwide. And each of them will come with a price tag of 310,233 euros (around $368,000).

To make it look exclusive and high-end, the SUVs will feature bronze accents on the exterior - from the 21 inch wheels, the bumpers, front grille surround, mirrors, to the center section of the spare wheel cover at the back. Both sides of the body get a high-gloss black trim in the protective strips, and the grille up front now gets a black mesh center.

Inside the Final Edition’s cabin are a number of upscale features like the black nappa leather that covers the seats, and the carbon-fiber-like finish for the seat bolsters. To give it some contrast while keeping it looking high-end, Mercedes gave the diamond quilted center sections bronze stitching. Furthermore, there is a light brown weave that highlights the carbon-fiber trim throughout the interior. Heated and ventilated seats will ensure the comfort of passengers when the climate changes.

Brabus Mercedes-AMG G65 'One of Ten' has 888 HP and a hefty price tag of $800,000

Have you been waiting for the most powerful twelve-cylinder off-roader? If that’s the case, you might want to look into this Brabus G65 with as much as 888 horsepower.

When looking at it from the outside, the Brabus G65 has a boxy design with a go-anywhere appeal, and capability of course. The German tuner first came out with the most powerful four-seat cabrio (based on the S65), following a E63 S sedan with as much as 700 horsepower, and now, they are on to the G65, or the legendary G-Class in its highest specification. Brabus only plans to build 10 examples of the Brabus G65, and each one will have a whopping price tag of €666,000 ($800,000), and the same 6.3-liter V12 biturbo engine (instead of the original one with 6.0 liters).

Speaking of the engine power and performance, the Brabus G65 will be armed with 888 horsepower (662 kilowatts) and 1,106 pound-feet (1,500 Newton-metres) of torque. The Bottrop-based tuner says that the ten Brabus G65 examples will be the most powerful off road vehicle in the world with a twelve-cylinder engine. However, one will not be able to enjoy the full mountain-moving torque as it will be electronically limited to 885 pound-feet (1,200 Newton-metres).

Tuner RevoZport rolls out RZG-700 performance package for G63 and G65 AMG

Nowadays, there has been a surge of modified Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons, and we are happy with all that. Only recently, the German automaker powerhouse revealed its 2 deluxe, limited editions for the G63 and G65 SUVs. However, if they are not your cup of tea then tuner RevoZport got you covered, as they are now offering their latest upgrade package that makes the squared shape SUV even more daring. The G63 and G65 are not exactly innocent looking from the start but now RevoZport has raised their intimidating features to exciting heights.

This menace vehicle has an astounding 1,995 mm width, making it as wide as the humongous G500 4x4 Squared. Among the modified features are the brawny wheel arches that stretch the sides by about 70 mm. Due to its broadness, wider wheels can be put in by G-Wagon. Customers may also opt for a portal system that can snugly fit the G63 or G65 with wheels of the G500 4x4. If you are a big fan of the carbon fiber finish, then you would like this part. A set of striking carbon fiber vents take up most of the hood.

It also serves another purpose- the designs fuse a smart "water trap" system that makes sure water doesn't enter the engine area. Other exterior upgrades include a noticeable front splitter with unified LED daytime running lights, carbon mirror caps, roof spoiler and a carbon spare wheel cover. The carbon fibre feature doesn’t stop there, as the interior of the G63 and G65 RevoZport has been enclosed with extensive carbon fibre.

2017 Mercedes-Benz G63 and G65 Exclusive Edition make their debut

Been thinking of getting yourself a 2017 Mercedes-AMG G63 or 65? If you have, then maybe you would like to get something more special. The company just revealed two new versions of the said models. The Exclusive Edition will cost you around $177,978 (€163,125) for the G63 and $314,100 (€287,658) for the G65. The latter is currently the second most expensive Mercedes out there. It follows the G650 Landaulet (with a hefty price tag of around $527,400 or €500,000).

The Exclusive Edition is nearly €12,000 more expensive than the base model. So what comes with the extra twelve grand?

The off-road truck comes with stainless steel underguard and AMG-branded side strips. Aside from that, the company will provide buyers with a spare wheel cover that comes in the same colour as the truck, and aluminum rub strip inserts. Of course, they’ll top this off with a fancy set of 21-inch 5-twin-spoke ceramic-polished wheels. If buyers aren’t into that, they can instead get a set of 21-inch wheels in black finish with high-sheen rim flanges and side rib strips accented with carbon fiber (for the same price, I believe). The Exclusive Edition only offers one new special colour that is the matte AMG Monza Grey Magno, but the regular colours are available too.

Brabus is offering an enhanced version of the Widestar 800 based on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG. Just a couple of years ago, Brabus unveiled the G55 AMG-based Widestar 800. But this time, Brabus has worked its expertise on the G65 AMG variant. The high-performance SUV was presented at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show.

It is powered by a V12 6.0-liter bi-turbo engine that delivers an incredible 800 HP (588 kW) and 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft). But torque is limited to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). As a reminder, the regular G65 AMG churns "only" 612 HP (450 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). Because of this major power upgrade, the Widestar 800 could accelerate from zero to 62mph (100 km/h) in just 4.2 seconds.

It could also continue to reach an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). But without the limiter, the off-roader is capable of reaching 168 mph (270 km/h). Its power is distributed to the permanent all-wheel drive system via a 7-speed automatic transmission. The G-Class will also be getting the customary wide body kit with sculpted fender flares, and front spoiler with LED DRLs.
