New Pagani Huayra BC lands in Miami wrapped in glossy black carbon with yellow accents

Whenever a Pagani Huayra BC gets delivered to a new owner in any place in the world, it does get some sort of attention. After all, the Pagani Huayra BC isn’t an ordinary car, and its owners aren’t ordinary as well. In the United States alone, the Pagani Huayra BC is quickly proving that it is a hypercar that is a must-have for the extra-rich. Proof of that is the recent delivery of a Pagani Huayra in the US soil.

This example was brought to the US -- particularly in Miami, Florida – by Prestige Imports. Just like the previous examples of the Pagani Huayra BC that were delivered, the looks of this unit were customized according to the taste and preferences of its new owner. However, unlike previous examples that we have seen, this Pagani Huayra BC is wrapped in traditional gloss black carbon, rather than the colored carbon fiber that has been the preference lately.

This black finish is accentuated by bright yellow pinstripes that can be found throughout the new Huayra BC, from the front end, on the bonnet, around the headlights, on all four wheels, on the brake calipers and the flanks as well as around the side windows, on its gullwing doors, on the rear end and on the massive rear spoiler.

Pagani Huayra BC in green carbon and bits of orange is impressive

Getting to own a Pagani, as we already know, is not a commonplace thing. However, the Pagani Huayra Benny Caiola (BC), by far, is the finest model in its history. It’s partly because it’s the first to ever come out with a series of advanced technologies that no other Pagani owners have seen before. In fact, the new features on the Huayra BC have yet to become available in Pagani’s future supercar lineups.

Under the hood, the Huayra BC comes with a 750hp and 737lb-ft of torque twin-turbo V12 engine, which was exclusively made for the Italian marque courtesy of Mercedes-AMG. Based on the specs, this V12 engine is paired to a 7-speed AMT (or Automated Manual Transmission). According to Pagani, the latest electronic active differential along with the new gearbox on the Benny Caiola is almost 40% lighter than the current Huayra’s dual clutch transmission.

With the Geneva Motor Show happening at the moment, there are other exciting things that’s been going on Instagram. Apparently, an outlandish green and orange Pagani Huayra BC has lately been delivered to its wealthy owner.

Upcoming Pagani Huayra Roadster to have similar specs as the Huayra BC

Usually, when a carmaker releases teasers about an upcoming vehicle or concept, the details provided are few and sometimes vague. That was what we first thought when supercar maker Pagani Automobili commenced teasing the roadster version of the Pagani Huayra supercar.

Since last month, the Italian company has been dropping delicious details about the roadster version of the Huayra. These small yet thought-provoking details were posted at Pagani’s Facebook page. One of these details announced the intention of the carmaker to reveal the Pagani Huayra Roadster this year, specifically at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March. Along with the post is a shadowy image of the roadster’s grille and part of its camouflaged hood.

Pagani continued posting more images and details about the Pagani Huayra Roadster. The carmaker even said that the roadster version of the Huayra will have more edges to give it a more aggressive shape than the coupe version. The latest of these posts showed an image of a camouflaged Pagani Huayra Roadster being taken to a drive. Along with the image, Pagani said all the technologies employed in the Pagani Huayra BC – which it described as an incredible piece of engineering – would find their way into the Pagani Huayra Roadster.

Where there are superheroes, there are also supercars. Well, these things don’t really have special levitation powers (although we’re crossing our fingers that one will soon be made) or have laser beams shooting out of its exhaust but these things sure are more powerful than any other kind of car. Supercars are more than just the average sports cars flaunted on the streets of L.A.

This term is used for “unusual, high-end vehicles” and cars that fit any of the following categories: limited-edition specials from big names in the industry, standard-looking cars that have been modified to become powerful performance beasts; models from small manufacturers that are appealing to enthusiasts, and last but not the least, project vehicles (usually heavily tuned muscle cars and grand tourers with the latest “streetable” racing technology). So basically, supercars are high-performance mean machines that can be pitted against an aircraft and can most probably compete with Clark Kent.

There are various players in the quest for supercar supremacy. There are those that come from big names in the industry such as the “technological wonder child” Ferrari, the bad ass Lamborghini, and of course, the “sophisticated gentle man” Aston Martin; and then comes the new guy in the block – Pagani.

Debuting at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show is the all-new 2017 Pagani Huayra BC, the company's latest offering and certainly its most technologically advanced and most powerful offering to date. It follows the steps of its predecessor in offering a truly performance-focused car experience.

The 'BC' in the name is the initials for Benny Caiola, the person who inspired Horacio Pagani when he was still starting his company by showing his belief in Pagani's talent in design as well as expertise in car technology.

Benny was so impressed by Horacio's passion in his car designs that he is the first buyer of a Pagani car. The Huayra BC is primarily designed for track performance, a continuation of its predecessors – the Pagani Zonda R and the Zonda Cinque – known for their 'track focused' characteristics.
