We first saw this last October as a concept car and now, the production model of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class has been revealed. Carlex Design isn't a beginner with regards to tuning the Mercedes-Benz X-Class. In fact, it has even created a version with Maybach-like appearance and features. It has also created Off-Road-focused and Urban-tailored versions. Now, Carlex Design seems to be not contented with how far it has gone with the X-Class and is now presenting a new concept design for the luxury SUV from Mercedes.
Indeed, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class represents the luxury side of pickup trucks. While offering a drive that is comparable to a sports utility vehicle, the X-Class also delivers a smooth, comfortable ride that is expected of luxurious vehicles. Plug-in hybrid vehicles are increasingly the mobility of choice for many people. For short drives around the city or urban areas, plug-in hybrid can be switched to all-electric mode for a zero-emission driving experience. However, current plug-in hybrids can only offer up to 50 km (31 miles) of all-electric range.
Mercedes-Benz is hoping to break the status quo by not just surpassing the 50-km barrier, but also offering up to 100 km (62 miles) in pure electric range. Quite a number of plug-in hybrids still offer 30 km of electric range, while there is an increasing number of models that are engineered to reach 50 km.

The battle for supremacy in China among premium SUVs with long wheelbases will soon hot as Mercedes-Benz reveals the long-wheelbase version of the GLC. The new Mercedes-Benz GLC L will only be sold in the Chinese market and will compete against the long-wheelbase variant of the Audi Q5 crossover (Q5 L). Mercedes-Benz is expected to unveil the new GCL L to the public at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition in November 2018.
When compared, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC L basically looks like the regular wheelbase version – just like any extended model being sold in the Chinese market. However, the long wheelbase variant of the GCL does appear extended on the side because of its now stretched length. This is evident beyond the B-pillars of the new GLC L, where the roofline looks to have grown longer. This is also evident when looking at its rear doors, which now appear to be longer than those in the regular wheelbase version of the GLC SUV.

Romturingia SRL produces bodywork for vehicles and armored vehicles, special designs for fuel transport, and vehicles with special destinations. It also builds trailers and installs hard-tops for vehicles build by Dacia, Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Ford and Mazda.
Actually, Romturingia and Dacia already had a collaboration to build a pickup version of the Duster. That was way back in 2014, and only 500 examples of the Duster SUV-turned-pickup were built and delivered. However, that collaboration involved the first generation of the Duster, all of these conversions sold to a major fleet customer in Romania. German premium carmaker Mercedes-Benz has created a new plug-in hybrid vehicle that combines the power of two technologies –electricity (battery) and fuel cell (hydrogen). In short distances, it relies on pure electricity. When there is a need to travel over long distance, this plug-in hybrid relies on the power of fuel cell. This is the new Mercedes-Benz GLC F-CELL PHEV.

When the Mercedes-Benz X-Class was unveiled in 2017, it was no doubt a representation of luxury among pickup trucks. However, a Polish company that goes by the name of Carlex Design is offering to convert the new X-Class into a Maybach-like pickup in terms of looks and features.
Carlex Design noted that the Mercedes-Benz X-Class deserves to be called as a luxury pickup. Not only that the pickup offers a drive comparable to a sports utility vehicle, it also delivers a smooth comfortable ride. In addition, the new X-Class, in its standard guise, isn't just coz and comfortable, but is also equipped with features found in premium cars. Mercedes-AMG only came out with the E43 lineup a few years ago, and already, the said model is ready to retire the badge so they could give way for the arrival of the electrified E53 family. You might be wondering what the original identity of the diesel engine is. Well, it is actually the OM 656 that we saw last year together with the S-Class facelift. Mercedes-Benz has been working on refreshing its people-hauling V-Class, which has racked up more than 100,000 deliveries since 2014. But before the new model finally goes on sale sometime next year, the German automaker is giving the current model one last special edition to keep customers interested.
It is called the V-Class Night Edition and it comes with a handful of improvements care of the AMG department. But don’t get too excited because they aren’t doing any improvements to the engine. Power comes from the automaker’s familiar 2.1 liter turbodiesel engine with 190 horsepower (140 kilowatts) and 325 pound-feet (440 Newton metres) of torque. According to Mercedes, the average fuel consumption is between 6.8 and 7.5 liters per 100 kilometers, or 34.6-31.4 miles per gallon with CO2 emissions of 179-199 grams per kilometer.
