In the automotive industry, it is uncommon to see the words Tesla and tuners in the same sentence. But what’s more complicated is tuning a car that does not even have an exhaust system or engine parameters, considering that most of the time, performance enhancements are part of the tuner package, along with aesthetics of course.
And guess what? Prior Design, took their time and effort to play with the Tesla Model S, giving it their personal touch, and the outcome looks amazing. The German company specializes in the design, development and distribution of exclusive aerodynamics. They aim to create cars that combine sporty and aggressive designs with enhanced elegance. They have worked on several automobiles including Land Rover’s Range Rover Evoque 5D, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F458 Italia, McLaren 570S, and now, Tesla Model S
Prior Design begins with a updated front bumper that has a spoiler lip built in. This instantly gives the Model S a brighter, but at the same time, more aggressive face. They stick with the theme with a new diffuser. The updated spoiler hugs the rear end of the hypercar, which supposedly reduces lift when it accelerates. We are not sure though if customers are interested in downforce at higher speeds, considering that straight line acceleration is the Model S’ claim to fame.Read the entire article Tesla Model S gets a makeover from Prior Design
Tuner Prior Design revealed that for the McLaren 570S, it will be offering an aerodynamics kit in full carbon. Since the kit will come with a set of custom dual-spoke wheels, the tuner is also including a customized H&R suspension.
Through the PD1 aerodynamics kit, the McLaren 570S is able to get a more aggressive appearance. This is due to a combination of the side air intakes placed on the bumper in the front, side skirts with wings, side blades, fender attachments, roof scoop, and the diffuser and wing in the rear.
Tuner Prior Design revealed as well that for the interior, it will be offering an exclusive design but this is only available on request. Still, the tuner said it will go all out not only when it comes to the customization of the color but even for the materials.Read the entire article Prior Design releases aerodynamic kit for McLaren 570S
The Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe isn’t your ordinary two-door car. Aside from its dynamic yet elegant looks, the AMG C63 Coupe is also a menace in terms of performance – worthy of the AMG branding. This is why the AMG C63 Coupe is a favorite among auto tuners. Now, German tuning specialist Prior Design has made the AMG C63 Coupe more potent, thanks to its new aero body kit.
Compared to an ordinary Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the AMG C63 Coupe was designed as a true performer, with an aggressive appearance to match. In fact, the AMG C63 Coupe shares no body panel with a regular C-Class, except for the roof panel. Featuring an already low and wide stance, large air intakes and aggressively flared wheel arches, AMG C63 Coupe is a luxury car that should earn your utmost attention on the road. However, Prior Design believes that what AMG has done isn’t enough, so it has come up with an aero kit that should make the AMG C63 Coupe look meaner.
Dubbed as the PD65CC Widebody Aerodynamic Kit (W205), this package greatly enhances not only the sporty looks of the AMG C63 Coupe, but also improves the luxury performance car’s aerodynamic capabilities. The PD65CC WB aero kit includes a C-Class-specific front bumper as well as front spoiler or splitter. This front bumper features modified and larger air intakes. The aero kit also includes a new bonnet that lends the AMG C63 Coupe a sportier look, even meaner than the C63 Black Series.Read the entire article Prior Design’s aero kit lends greater levels of aggressiveness to the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe
Mareike Fox is a celebrated personality in the adult entertainment industry. While some of her contemporaries are happy sharing to the world their selfies, Fox is in a different world altogether. This 25-year old blond is well-known in certain circles for her passion when it comes to fast cars. Car enthusiasts are likely to be envious once they learn that Fox not only drives, but in fact owns a Nissan GT-R.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R in particular was released to the European market in September of this year. This model is powered by the twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine with an output of 562 hp (570 PS) and peak torque of 470 lb.-ft. (637 Nm). What is unique about this engine is that it was handcrafted from beginning to end by a single Takumi, which is Japanese for master craftsman. What sets this new GT-R apart from the rest is that it comes equipped with the 20-inch forged aluminum NISMO Racing Black wheels fitted with special tires and also comes with a wider front bumper. In addition, each of the special GT-R will have the distinct carbon fiber 'Track Edition' badge placed on the dashboard. Under the body, one can see the Bilstein Damptronic bespoke suspension which has lightweight anti-roll bars and a configuration tuned for racing.
In terms of the interior, the actual specifications will differ depending on the market. But models to be released in Germany will have as standard Recaro seats that are carbon-backed with a carbon spoiler in the rear as option. For both the France and UK markets meanwhile, the carbon spoiler is fitted as standard as well as the red and black Recaro seats. Available as an option are the carbon-backed seats and the carbon boot lid.Read the entire article Adult film star Mareike Fox drives a tuned Nissan GT-R by Prior Design [w/video]
If you are not convinced that your BMW M6 GranCoupe (F06) is not sexy enough, then you should take a look at the PD6XX widebody kit developed by Prior Design. As you can see from the photos, the new aerodynamic kit consists of a new front bumper with larger air inlets and cup wings, new side sills, enlarged front and rear fenders, a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser painted in high-gloss black, as well as a rear trunk lip.
The vehicle also received a front hood with new air inlets. As an option, the Prior Design body kit can be ordered in carbon. The design of the M6 GranCoupe is completed by the 20-inch golden multi-spoked ADV1 wheels wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.
Thanks to the new H&R springs the tuner adjusted the lowering rate to the new wheel arches. Under the hood, there is the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that was boosted from 560 hp to 659 hp, while the maximum torque was increased by 140 Nm to a total of 820 Nm.Read the entire article BMW M6 Gran Coupe gets the PD6XX widebody kit from Prior Design
