Nowadays, building luxurious pickup trucks isn’t unusual for automakers. One prime example is the Ford F-150 Limited that costs $62,000. But now, we welcome the arrival of the Atulux, short for All Terrain Utility Luxury by Italian automaker Aznom Automotive. For instance, the previous generation Ram 1500 pickup was converted into an opulent SUV. Though the SUV only fits two passengers in the back, they are surrounded with a posh cabin and they get a Nespresso coffee machine and a milk frother that rises from the center console, making it perfect for those who are addicted to caffeine.
Measuring nearly six meters (19.6 feet) long, the Atuluz still looks the same except that it has almost doubled in size. The extra room allowed the company to install an additional sunroof as well as a more accommodating passenger compartment. To keep it looking like a Ram 1500, Atulux maintains a lot of its design cues like the crosshair grille. At the back, the company fits a tiny truck that boasts a look similar to the recent Mercedes Maybach Ultimate Luxury Concept.
Mechanically, the SUV keeps the Ram’s original 5.7 liter V8 that gives an output of 396 horsepower (295 kilowatts) here. When converting, Aznom reinforces the frame and installs bigger brakes, alongside eight piston calipers in front. An air suspension also provides a supple ride, and additional sound proofing to give the passengers peace and silence.Read the entire article Aznom Automotive Atulux turns this Ram 1500 into a personal cafe
Ram has finally announced that they will have a competitor for the Ford F-150 Raptor, and that is the Ram TRX. Since the automaker now has a new Ram 1500 platform available, the company is looking to expand its trim and offerings, hoping to get more market share. To be able to achieve that, and please truck enthusiasts at the same time, is to shift their focus to domestic rival Ford.
This news has been welcomed by many, even on a day filled with a handful of product news from Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati, we still do not have complete details. Last April, it was reported by 5thGenRams that there will be new versions of the trucks, a TR that’s been toned down, and the performance oriented TRX. However, they did not mention anything about a TR.
Initially, Ram hinted at an off road performance truck back in 2016 with the Ram Rebel TRX Concept. To get the public interested, the concept was given as much as 575 horsepower. Considering that Ram has confirmed we're getting the TRX, interest must have been high. A vehicle like this would also allow the automaker to pad their profit margins.Read the entire article Ram TRX is happening, takes aim at Ford F-150 Raptor
The Ram 1500 Limited is one impressive car already, considering that it is the range-topping model. Now, the automaker has decided to give it more personality and class while getting inspiration from America’s most famous horse race.
2019 Ram 1500 Limited Kentucky Derby Edition gets some extra amenities. There will also be a slight discount that will come with the new 1500 Limited. The Limited’s normal base price is $53,890 (before destination), versus the Kentucky Derby Edition that has a starting price of $53,190 (plus an extra $1,645 destination charge). In fact, only 2,000 units of this horse racing inspired model will be built by the automaker.
To let these trucks stand out from the rest, there are the rose and horseshoe Kentucky Derby logo on each side of the bed near the taillights. Ram Trucks dropped quite a bomb at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show when it unveiled the all-new 2019 Ram 1500, representing the fifth generation of the light duty pickup truck. Now, the Ram 1500 is making an appearance at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, and this time, the light duty pickup truck is wrapped in Mopar parts and accessories.
A result of a partnership between the Ram Trucks and Mopar brands, a 2019 Ram 1500 modified for outdoor sports is making an appearance in Chicago. It is essentially the Big Horn Sport 4x4 version of the newly unveiled fifth-generation Ram 1500 as wrapped in Flame Red finish and dressed up in a wide array of Mopar products designed especially for this light duty pickup truck. According to Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service at Mopar, the customized truck at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show demonstrates what is possible when accessorizing the all-new Ram 1500.
These Mopar products include certain parts that enhance the truck’s off-rood capability as well as numerous storage systems, parts and accessories. While the customized 2019 Ram 1500 is already clothed with several Mopar parts and accessories, the menu for the all-new light duty pickup truck actually listed more than 200 available products. That’s pretty extensive.Read the entire article Mopar-customized 2019 Ram 1500 appears at 2018 Chicago Auto Show
We first saw the 2019 Ram 1500 pickup truck during the recent 2018 Detroit Auto Show where it made its very first debut, and as early as now, it already has a first special edition - the 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition. This version comes loaded with lots of leather to make the largest biker gang jealous with its tan covered cabin.
Mike Manley, Head of Ram Brand, said that the all new 2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn luxury truck will not be forced to endure any compromises. It gives customers everything they want, from strength, durability, technology, and efficiency.
When looking at it from the exterior, the luxury pickup now comes with a new grille and wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, and matching paint in Walnut Brown in either two-tone or monotone finish, making it so easy to find your truck in the parking lot.Read the entire article 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition is for leather lovers
For those of you who are looking to get a new pickup truck, you might want to consider the 2019 Ram 1500, as the facelifted model not only has been made lighter, but is also powerful, safer, and more capable.
First of all, it is now 225 pounds lighter than its predecessor, because the tailgate is now made of aluminum, while the frame is now made of high strength steel. Unlike the Ford F-Series, the Ram is not getting an all aluminum body just yet. That is because steel is still needed for areas that need long term durability, says head of Ram, Jim Morrison.
Another area that has been greatly improved would be the truck’s aerodynamics. Its overall drag coefficient has decreased by nine percent to 0.357. This is the result of the standard active grille shutters, higher bed side rails, and of course, a lower suspension. It even comes with an electrically deployable aero spoiler that extends down from the bumper when the car hits 30-35 miles per hour. If in case the spoiler hits something on the road, there is no need to worry as it has the one-way clutch linkage. Trucks with air suspension also lower about 0.6 inch at higher speeds.Read the entire article 2019 Ram 1500 is lighter, safer, stronger, and more stylish than predecessor
Soon, the current generation of the Ram 1500 will be saying goodbye. Nonetheless, it will all end on a sweet note as the American truck maker wouldn’t let the vaunted full-size pickup truck go without a bang. Thus, Ram is introducing the special-edition 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport.
This isn't the first time the Ram offered a vividly colored special edition of the Ram 1500 Sport pickup truck. In late 2016, the American truck maker created and offered the Ram 1500 Ignition Orange special edition. This year alone, Ram introduced Sublime (Green) and Copper Sport limited-edition trucks. Of course, the Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport won't be the last special edition that Ram would offer, but it would be the final model in the 2017 model year.
Wrapped in water-like blue exterior paint finish, the 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport is laden with a number of special features as standard. These include a black-decaled Sport performance hood, a new body-colored Sport grille with black billet inserts and black R-A-M letter badge. Nowadays, it is rather inevitable that luxury pickups have been quickly making rounds, and they have served as a significant asset for Ram ever since the brand separated itself from Dodge. Ram presently has various luxury trims including the Long Horn, Laramie and Limited produced among the 1500, 2500 and 3500 models and now it looks like they will introduce another vehicle to their line-up. According to the Fiat-Chrysler owned truck manufacturer, these trucks will be given a new range topping trim labelled the Limited Tungsten Edition.
2018 Ram Limited Tungsten Edition will be added to the already stellar line-up of Ram. The ultra swanky truck will be offered on the 1500, 2500 and 3500 in the 3rd quarter of this year and it will fetch around $55,120 for the high-end trim on the 1500. The newest edition offers more awesome luxurious novelties onto the recent range-topping Limited trim. We can recognize these premium units by the outer shell that will don a dark chrome grille with RAM engraving. For the trim and badges, there are metallic accents to match them.
The bumpers, door handles, mirror caps and running boards reflect the body color while its headlights flaunt the black surrounds from the Sport unit.
