After all, the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 that were recently introduced by Ferrari take inspirations from legendary Ferrari Sports cars of the past in terms of both design and engineering.
The new Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are the first models in a new concept of limited-edition special series dubbed as ‘Icona,’ as inspired by the carmaker’s iconic and legendary cars. The Monza SP1 and SP2 essentially blend the evocative design of Ferrari cars in the 1950s and the most advanced technology found in modern sports cars. The 1948 Ferrari 166 MM, the Ferrari 750 Monza and 860 Monza were credited for creating Ferrari’s legend in the 1950s through unprecedented wins in the World Sports Car Championship.
In terms of looks, the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are essentially twins. However, the Monza SP1 is single-seat road car that can only accommodate the driver on the right side. On the other hand, the Monza SP2 is a two-seater that allows the driver to bring along a front passenger to the ride. In the Monza SP2, the tonneau cover has been removed, while a second protective screen and a second roll-bar are added. Lotus has been developing a new generation of sports cars, but these cars will probably not be available until 2020. So for customers who don’t want to wait too long, the automaker decided that they will sell one last special version of the immortal 3-Eleven 430, or the “most extreme machine” it has ever built.
This will also be highly exclusive as they only have plans of assembling 20 examples, each one carrying a price of £102,000 or approximately $142,000 at current exchange rates.
This 3-Eleven 430 has been equipped with a 3.5 liter V6 engine under its hood, producing as much as 430 horsepower (321 kilowatts) and 324 pound feet (440 Newton metres) of torque. After having recently released teaser images of the new McLaren Senna, the automaker is finally ready to make a proper unveiling. The Senna, which is part of the Ultimate Series, gets its name from legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna de Silva. It will stand as the automaker’s most track-focused, road legal car. The automaker plans to build only 500 examples of this model, with profits going to the Senna Foundation charity. The Senna has a price tag of £750,000 ($1 million), in the UK, and believe it or not, all 500 units have already been accounted for.
Undoubtedly, the Senna has a unique exterior design. It was made to be very sleek to boost its performance. This model follows the “form follows function” principle, and its shape is meant to reduce drag and boost cooling. This car spent hours in the wind tunnel, a fact that’s quite obvious as soon as you take note of its double rear diffuser to the underfloor scoop and the large rear wing.
The Senna has interesting see-through glass door panels. Furthermore, the carbon ceramic brakes it wears together with the Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tires took seven months to assemble. The interior has a minimalist design that boasts a generous amount of carbon fiber. The cabin features goodies like an infotainment system, rearview camera, a foldable driver’s display, and a sound system. For those of you who are aware of Spyker, you must have heard of the C8 Aileron. The said model has been around for about eight years now and the Dutch automaker has finally decided to give an end to its life. And to give it a proper goodbye, Spyker will produce the final three examples in the racing inspired LM85 spec, together with matching motorsport-inspired liveries.
To achieve this look, the automaker will make use of exposed rivets to attach the LM85’s body panels to the C8 Aileron. It will be given wider fenders as well. The billet aluminum intakes give the exterior a bright flourish. And since the automaker is only going to build three examples of the vehicle, each one of them will be getting a unique paint job.
One of them will be finished in a Jet Black finish with Crimson Red S accents that decorate the body, while the other one is a reverse of the first one, getting a Crimson Red with Jet Black S accents. The third model will be dressed in Jet Black with a Gold S. Donkervoort, the Dutch sports car manufacturer, is making the most of a limited run of the sold out D8 GTO RS, at only 40 units. But this time, an even rarer model will be made with only 15 examples - that is the Naked Edition of the said model. As of today, the company has already sent out 20 units of the standard model to their respective owners, as well as the very first example of the Naked Edition D8 GTO RS. It was delivered to its new owner located somewhere in Germany.
Naturally, the Naked Edition will stand out due to its eccentric design, but even more so with its striking Monte Carlo Blue Carbon finish. The carbon fiber body was then given a transparent paint that was developed by both Donkervoort and BASF’s upscale brand R-M. What makes this finish so cool is that you could still see the carbon fiber through it. Ninety-five percent of the bodywork is made out of the lightweight material, including the roll-bar trim, the headlight housing and the ignition cylinder housing.
To cut down some more weight, Donkervoort used some spray on carbon components on some areas instead of painting them, which really helped with the diet. The current generation of the Ford Focus will be axed next year as the new-generation 2018 Ford Focus RS will take its place, and this is sort of a good news - bad news situation. The bad news is that CarsDirect disclosed that the next-gen 2018 Focus RS is priced from $41,995- an increase of $5,000 compared to its 2017 model. It costs more than a Mustang GT premium and is priced much higher than the 2017 Honda Civic Type R's expected $35,000 price tag. But on a positive note, the extra $5,000 will give you an extremely well-armed RS.
If the disclosed price is in any way true, it will be $5,000 more expensive than the standard price of the current-gen Focus RS which demands only $36,995 (including $875 for destination cost). This sudden increase in price might seem shocking, but this 2018 Ford Focus will be released as a limited-edition model that will be well-equipped for the new model year. The hot hatch will have the RS2 package, which is set as an option on the current model for an added $2,785.
The package flaunts a heated, leather-bound Recaro seats paired with 8-way power adjustment for the driver, heated exterior mirrors and 3-spoke steering wheel and will also have a voice-activated navigation system. Before the current generation Ford Focus exits in 2018, the American company hopes to satisfy its fans with its latest offering. This time, everyone is eagerly awaiting Ford Performance’s limited edition 2018 Ford Focus RS which will be released next year. The said performance compact hatchback will cater to Blue Oval hot hatch enthusiasts’ most requested limited-slip front differential and a new red exterior paintjob. Well, this is clearly not good news for everyone. Ever since the new BMW M4 CS rolled out in Shanghai last week, several reports about its limited production have quickly surfaced. CarBuzz earlier reported that the BMW M4 CS will be limited to only 3,000 units worldwide. In line with this, the production period for the said model will be running for only two years.
According to Peter Quintus (BMW M’s Head for Marketing), they weren't actually expecting such kind of overwhelming response for the M4 GTS. For those who can recall, all 700 examples have been sold out fast in just four weeks. Quintus added they can no longer build much more than the amount that was stated. But since customers are also looking for more M model varieties to come by, this is how the M4 CS came into the picture. Also, they are looking to add a new CS to the current M Performance lineup. Judging from his statement, we strongly believe it is going to be an M2 CS no less. Of course, the marketing chief did not confirm if it is indeed a BMW M2, but it is very likely to be coming up next.
Going back to the subject, the M4 CS will be available in the showrooms by the middle of next year. Italian sports carmaker Ferrari marks a milestone for having been in Japan for 50 years. In celebration of this fact and as a tribute to the country that is one of Ferrari’s precious markets, the sports carmaker is launching a limited series model exclusive to Japan – the Ferrari J50.
This limited series model was unveiled at Ferrari‘s special 50th anniversary celebration at the National Art Center in Tokyo, Japan. Only 10 examples of the Ferrari J50 will be produced and each will be built according to the taste and preferences of their respective owners – as per Ferrari’s fuori serie tradition.

When Donkervoort Automobielen BV unveiled its Donkervoort D8 GTO-RS limited edition in May 2016, customer interest has been so overwhelming that the Lelystad, Netherlands-based carmaker sold out this one-of-a-kind vehicle in a very short time. It was not surprising though, since Donkervoort D8 GTO-RS is the successor of the D8 270 RS that managed to set one of the fastest lap records at record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife with a time of 7 minutes and 14.9 seconds.
As a reaction to the huge demand for D8 GTO-RS limited edition, Donkervoort eventually moved to expand the RS series ahead of schedule. In effect, 25 more Donkervoort D8 GTO-RS limited editions will be offered to the public. These 25 special versions will be available in two variants -- D8 GTO-RS Bare Naked Carbon Edition and the D8 GTO-RS Race Edition. The Donkervort D8 GTO-RS Bare Naked Carbon Edition will be available in just 15 examples and as its name well indicates, its carbon fiber components are left exposed or unpainted.
On the other hand, the D8 GTO-RS Bare Naked Race Edition will be available in 10 examples. As its moniker tells us, it will be tweaked to be suitable to be raced on the track. Tweaks include the installation of the non-street-legal sequential gearbox as well as track day elements that could help it improve its lap times while enhancing its driving pleasure. With the racing ability of the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 and the roar of its V8 engine still unforgotten among enthusiasts, it is only right that it should return. If you recall, the Le Mans Homologation Special was specifically made to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997, among many other races.
This special edition of the Esperante GTR-1 has been restored by Panoz at its Braselton, Ga. headquarters. The restoration process took six months and was finished in October. This makes it the only Le Mans Homologation Special in existence and as such, it wowed audiences at the International Motor Show in Dubai which began on November 10 and concluded on November 14.
The special edition was displayed at Booth No. Z277, Hall ZAB2 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. In order to celebrate 60 years since the first Porsche club was founded, the German manufacturer launched a special edition of the 911 Carrera S. As expected, the car will be available only for the Porsche Club members and will be build in a very limited edition of just 13 cars (one will be owned by Porsche, which means customers will get only 12).
Each unit will cot 142,800 euros excluding taxes, but the bigger problem is that around 181,000 Porsche club members will have to fight for these cars as there are around 640 Porsche clubs in 75 countries.
Unfortunately, the car will not be available for Porsche fans who live in India or China. The Granturismo S Limited Edition has an exclusive limited edition of 12 cars meant for the Italian market. It comes with unique trim levels and contents. An exclusive matt Sebring Blue paint is used on the exterior that emphasizes its elegant lines but also highlights its sportiness.

As it names clearly indicates, the Ferrari F8 Tributo is a tribute to its award-winning V8 engine. For three years in a row – 2016, 2017 and 2018 – Ferrari’s 3,902-cc V8 engine grabbed the “Best Engine” accolade in the International Engine of the Year awards. It was also named as the best engine of the last two decades in 2018.
In the Ferrari 488 GTB, which was unveiled four years ago at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, this 3,902 cc V8 turbocharged engine delivers an astonishing 670 cv of max output at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm of peak torque in the seventh gear. This amount of power is sent to the rear wheels via a revised seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox derived from 458 Italia. German carmaker Volkswagen is now making the latest evolution of the new Volkswagen Golf GTI -- the new Golf GTI TCR. First unveiled as a concept at the annual GTI meeting in Worthersee, Austria, the new Golf GTI TCR is touted to be the most hardcore, most powerful and the fastest Golf GTI ever. Interested customers in Germany can now order the new Golf GTI TCR at a starting price of EUR38,950 (around $44,356) including VAT.
The new Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR is basically the street going version of the same-named racing car that won the international TCR racing series two times. It is powered by a version of the carmaker’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is tuned to deliver up to 286 hp (213 kW) of max output. Power is sent to the wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission – the only option -- with a limited-slip front differential.
With this amount of power, the new Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR is capable of sprinting from nil to 62 miles per hour (100 km/h) in just 5.6 seconds, on its way to a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). After VIN registrations revealed months ago that Porsche was planning a new 718 Cayman T, new details have surfaced that about the hardcore model. According to a report by Auto Express, the German sports carmaker has almost completed the new lightweight Porsche 718 Cayman T and is now putting the finishing touches on this new hardcore model.
As reported by Auto Express, the new Porsche 718 Cayman T will served as a follow-up to the recently released 911 T as its smaller sibling. The new 718 Cayman T will be much lighter than the 718 Cayman, as made possible by employing a number of weight saving features like thinner glass, fabric door pulls and sports seats. In addition, the 718 Cayman T has seen its audio system removed from its cabin.
Overall, the 718 Cayman T would be around 20 kg lighter – in terms of kerbweight -- than the 718 Cayman. But in the short time, Ares Design has demonstrated its capability of creating high-quality coach-built cars. Project Wami is Ares Design’s latest work, with the promise of becoming one of the most enticing roadsters ever made. However, there is yet no actual, final product at sight – the roadster has yet to exist. According to Ares Design, project is currently in its development stage. Nonetheless, based from the images released by the Italian tuning company, the Project Wami roadster looks gorgeous and holds a lot of promise.

More than a year after introducing the widely acclaimed ATS GT prototype at the at the luxurious Salon Privé exhibit, Automobili Turismo e Sport (ATS) has finally presented the final and production version of the supercar – the new ATS GT Launch Edition -- at the prestigious 2018 Monterey Car Week at The Quail.
The ATS GT Launch Edition takes inspiration from the 1964 ATS 2500 GT, a small coupe designed by Franco Scaglione, developed by ATS co-founders Giotto Bizzarrini and Carlo Chiti, and built more than 50 years ago. Back then, ATS only built 12 examples of the 2500 GT. As it seeks to honor the original model, ATS is also building 12 examples of the new GT Launch Edition.
Designed by ATS chief designer Emanuele Bomboi, the new ATS GT Launch Edition boasts of an aerodynamic bodywork -- made of carbon fiber – that reinterprets the original design of the 2500 GT. It features unique side-blades and seemingly floating rear lights. These rear lights are designed to extract the hot air from the engine bay.
