Electronic Arts had recently concluded the open beta testing of Star Wars Battlefront. Senior Environment Artist Pontus Ryman revealed what were the reactions of the players who participated in the beta to what they experienced during the testing as well as their feedback to his team’s work in designing and rendering the game’s iteration of the ice planet of Hoth.
This scene was first introduced in Empire Strikes Back and is one of the iconic worlds of the Star Wars universe. According to Ryman, they had received overwhelming positive response from the participants of the beta, which made available the Walker Assault mode of the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game to the gamers who volunteered to test it out.
The DICE environment artist said that fans praised the experience of being able to fight in environment like Hoth’s. BMW is partnering with Electronic Arts Inc. studio, Ghost Games, to bring a digital version of the upcoming BMW M2 Coupe to the latest installment of the popular franchise Need for Speed. The virtual M2 Coupe will debut in the game at its launch date, which will be on November 3 this year.
This gives players control and intimacy over the new car, albeit its virtual version, ahead of the actual vehicle’s launching. Active for over 20 years now, Need for Speed is one of the titles in the videogame industry that use realistic models based on actual cars in virtual car racing!

Microsoft's Turn 10 Studios, creators of the Forza Motorsport racing game franchise, has picked the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 as the hero car for Forza Horizon 2. The latest installment of the Forza Horizon – arriving this fall exclusively to Xbox One and Xbox 360 -- revolves around the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, finished in Midas yellow.
The game is set in Southern Europe and takes the super sport car's Instinctive Technology around Mediterranean landscapes, with weather, Drivatars and endless routes. Forza Horizon 2 is very high in detail, even providing complete and detailed view of the passenger compartment, its original interior, working power windows and headlights.
Players could also customize their own new Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 in terms of colors and technical specifications.
