Would you like your convertible to be inspired by a yacht? Well, you do not have to imagine it anymore - thanks to the Bentley Continental GT Convertible and Mulliner for building one. With its size and opulence, there is no doubt that a yacht would enter your mind when seeing this model. This was made possible by Mulliner, which gave it the Galene Edition treatment. Overall, it has a droptop just like that of a yacht. In case you were wondering, Galene is a very apt name as it’s from the Greek goddess of calm seas.
For Mulliner to achieve this look, they had to work with Princess Yachts for some design cues that are necessary. For instance, the Continental GT Convertible was finished in a Glacier White paint that is accented with a Sequin Blue stripe on the lower end of the car, matching the dark blue roof. The convertible is equipped with a set of 21-inch polished Propeller Wheels.
The interior has plenty more design elements that you would associate with yachts. The cabin is made of a combination of Linen, Portland, Brunel, and Camel tinted leather - creams, taupes and nudes that will make you feel like you’re on a high-end boat. This is complemented by the cabin’s trim in the same Glacier White paint. There is even a hand-painted image of the super yacht on the dashboard for more detail, which was made by illustrator Jaume Vilardell. The trunk floor is more unconventional this time, with the open-pore Pinstripe Walnut finish. You can also find the same finish on the center stack and around the gearshift.Read the entire article Bentley Continental GT Convertible Galene looks very much like a yacht

As if owning a Bugatti Chiron was not enough, the luxury automaker has partnered with yacht builder Palmer Johnson to release the Bugatti Niniette 66. For those who want a yacht that best complements their Chiron, this is clearly intended for you.
With a length of 66 feet, as implied by the name, maximum speed has been measured to be 44 knots. In terms of land-based transportation, this is around 50 mph.
If you’re wondering though, this is not something that both companies decided to do on the fly. This particular project had its beginnings going as far back as 2015. It was during this time that the two companies decided to come up with a product that would combine their strength in order to deliver the best on-water experience. While they did manage to do just that, one is likely to see that they were able to incorporate the 8.0-liter W16 engine of the Chiron that could deliver 1,479 hp. The Niniette 66 instead utilizes the usual MAN V8 marine engine that is capable of either 1,000 hp or 1,200 hp. Meanwhile the MJP waterjets are responsible for moving the yacht forward. However, with a draft measuring around four feet, it can travel in shallow water without any problems.Read the entire article Palmer Johnson reveals luxury Niniette 66 yacht as Bugatti Chiron mate

The Strand Craft 166, which is designed entirely around an automotive theme, is a steadfast superyacht that is daring as it is outrageous (also check the previous Strand Craft 122). Customers who want that new leather smell would surely love this yacht. Adding to the yacht's sleek profile are the radar mast and retractable flybridge that retreat into the skin of the yacht when not in use. Both can be deployed independently of each other and are available only when they are required, ensuring the yacht keeps the cleanest possible lines for making that first impression.
Strengthening this philosophy are the twin concealed entrances to the yacht, hiding the stairway to the upper aft deck as well as providing access to the garage, bar and lounge areas.
The yacht's enormous length, low stance and curled haunches lend the vessel a dynamic aesthetic that is certain to turn heads in the most well appointed marinas. Hidden beneath the carbon fiber-inlaid fore deck is a sun deck equipped with a large jacuzzi, sporting a built-in bar to ensure that every party is well catered for.Read the entire article Strand Craft 166 by Gray Design is one super yacht with a supercar
