As always, the end of the year brings for most of the companies new plans for the year to come and of course the usual personalized calendar, part of their communication strategy. It is the case of Porsche Design, which prepared for 2009 no less than 4 calendars to mirror the history and the future of the company.Being a special project the company intends to market all four calendars at different prices.

Among the four concepts there is one produced in premiere which will reveal the biggest historical calendar in A1 format, a size that will surely attract all client's eyes. This calendar will be produced in a limited edition with each item sequentially numbered and with a final price of €99 ($133).

The other calendar showing the history of the company is named "Mathematics 2009 - Game of Numbers" and makes a bow to the 64 Type born in 1938. As the first car to have Porsche signature, the Type 64 has been renovate and accepted a photo shooting for the first time in many years.

It will be marketed with his own slipcase at the price of €35 ($47). Another calendar reveals the future and some high tech components like PDK double-clutch gearbox, Variocam Plus or direct fuel injection.

The theme chosen for this one is "Engineering and Efficiency" and it will feature 12 large close-up views and a special collector's coin at the cost of €35 ($47).

The last calendar of the set is the "Style Calendar" for 2009 following the "affinities - Verwandtschaften" theme. It honors the same Type 64 and twelve sketches and interpretations inspired by the body shell were specially designed for this calendar. The "Style Calendar" comes together with CD-ROM including a striking screensaver at a price of €57 ($76).
